I'll run it past him actually as there is one weekend in late June I'm away for. It should run pretty smoothly anyway. I've sorted all the dates and what not.

Not sure... I'd say wait until at least 1FF Wars and Grandstand are done. 1FF Wars is getting toward the ending stages now (though considering the fact it's already ran for 4 months, there's no saying exactly how long that'll be) and I'm not sure how long Lee intends his grandstand to go on for. Perhaps there'd be a gap to fit it in before The Haunted Woods, unless LR decides to push that one forward...

Grandstand will commence at the start of June and end when the Euro 16 final is played so just over a month altogether. I'll stick a thread up towards the end of the week getting sign ups.

Is there any sort of ban list for forum games, for people who sign up and then....utter inactivity? Obviously if someone begins by participating and then life takes over and realises they have important things to do then it's fair enough. But someone who signs up, says they don't know the rules and then....nothing. No more future games, surely?

I'm not planning to start the Haunted Woods until about September so personally I'd say go for it after Grandstand.

Honestly, I don't know if that'll ever happen. Right now, I'm thinking there's no way. But I seem to remember thinking that last time it ended, as well.

At the very least, it won't be for a couple of years I'd say. Both because I need a fucking great rest after 5 months of it, and because I think that the game in general needs a rest. All of you who played it have been coming on near enough every day for months to sign characters/pick fight spots/select characters for spots in fights and... yeah. It just needs to go away for a year or two for all of our sakes

Just updated the OP of this thread and realised that we have nothing running right now with 1FF Wars and Grandstand finished. Somebody run something. NOTW. Anything.

God damn it I've got a game of Superstar Wars ready to fucking to run and if I end up starting that up on the same damn day that 1FF Wars finished I'm gonna be pissed.

By all means, somebody run something else for fucks sake while this is going. This will run with it, because of its limited audience of people who will actually play it. But yeah. If you are one of those cool people who does like wrestling, by all means, sign up.

Nah, it's actually quite different to 1FF Wars.

The original TFF Wars was actually based on a game I originally ran back in the old wrestling forum called Promotion Wars, where players owned wrestling companies and competed against each other... so it's easy to see how that evolved into TFF Wars (Simply replace wrestlers with characters from films/games ect and replace wrestling promotions with teams) but after PW I did a game called Superstar Wars, which was where each player played as a wrestler trying to get to the top. It's not similar to TFF/1FF Wars at all really... the only thing in common is the word "wars" in the title.
