These brave souls will enter a god forsaken and terrifying place, on a search for the priceless treasure that can be found there. It won’t be easy though as this treasure is guarded by some of the most fearsome beasts and monsters ever known. Some are even unknown to the world, but that only makes this challenge more chilling.

The adventurers will need to make decisions on the equipment they use as well looking for alternative modes of transport mode such as horseback, go-kart.....maybe they will even come across a motorbike or two!

Along with the treasure, the explorers will also need to find the exit key they require to get out of this desperate place alive……

Sign ups open next Thursday. Can't say more than that at the moment.

Is there a set amount of players in this? Not that I'd miss the sign up anyway but is it teams of 3/4 or more like 5/6?

For anyone looking out for THW sign ups - they have been delayed, apologies. Previous forum games being run on here have led to this forum crashing, specifically the “buzz in” style rounds of which there are a few of in the Haunted Woods. Based on this and what Saddler has told me I think it's best if THW is hosted on a different forum altogether to avoid the same thing happening again.

I’m currently exploring a few different options. If anyone knows of a forum that they think would be good for this then please let me know.

If "THW" is NOTW/mafia and you're looking for a new site to host such games, then Mafia Universe will happily be that place for you. We have a lot of automated and cool features to improve the experience. (If it isn't NOTW/mafia, you can obv also still use the site, since we also have a section for "other games"). You should feel free to run games only for your own members if you want - and if you want, you can also have some cross-pollination, whatever you prefer

Well that's up to you really and how the game is played. If it's similar to my Hunger Games, there wasn't really a problem with running that on here as it didn't really require people to be on here at a set time. But other games that require everybody to be online at the same time may be a bit more troublesome.

Cant't say for the rest doing Haunted Wood, but I won't be doing two games at once.
