Good - The first half of our game against Barnet, on the opening day of the season, exciting football and we went two goals ahead. Unfortunately we couldn't hold that lead and the game was drawn. Doing the double against Coventry, sorry to deflate a few egos but they are the biggest team we have ever faced in league action, felt pretty damn good.

Bad - Could equally count as ugly, some of our fans shouting abuse at two of our players, one of them the son of the manager and the other a young goalkeeper on loan from Chelsea. With the former I suspect it was because the perpetrators didn't like his dad, with the latter it was probably because he wasn't Sam Russell. In both cases they are young players starting out in the game...you should never shout abuse at your own players, regardless of how badly they might be playing, encouragement is a better motivator.

Ugly - Challenge on Dan Wishart by a Luton player when we played them at home. Dan was jumping to try and head the ball when his forehead was involved in a collision with the foot of a Luton player, he was patched up and battled on, the assailant was sent for an early shower...some bloke sat near to me, on seeing the incident, said "he should get a yellow for that!"...if someone did that in town on a Friday night they would be spending a night in the cells.

Plenty more in each category, but those are the things that stand out for me in a season that should have been so much fun but for many reasons has been far from that. Hopefully we stay up and next season is far less traumatic.

Makes you think there is some weird obsession from certain people from certain clubs on here.
Tend to agree with you there...some would say that if people hate you that much, you must be getting something right!

The good- Accrington Stanley. A shining example of what can be achieved on a small budget if you have the right people in place.

The bad- Our pittiful early season displays under Michael Brown. The 5-1 surrender at Cheltenham was a low point too.

The ugly- Barnet’s disgraceful time wasting and cynical play from minute 1 at Vale Park and of course Crewe Alexandra’s disgusting ‘bury head in sand’ response and subsequent behaviour following the child abuse scandal.

That may sometimes be the case but my beef with Rhead is purely because he is a fat cheating c***.

The good - For us it’s the signing of Stockley and his 22 goals, plus the emergence of Jordan Storey and also signing a quality player like Hiram Boateng. We’ve also vastly improved at home and we have a resilience that we’ve missed for years.

In terms of teams I’ve seen us play, I actually though Port Vale were very well drilled and disciplined to win 1-0 at our place in November. I still think we’d be losing 1-0 now if the game had carried on.

The bad - For us, Lloyd James. Jesus, he pisses me off. He loses possession so often, and rarely scores for a midfielder. He’s just wank.

In terms of teams I’ve seen us play, Grimsby were really poor and actually Accrington were very poor against us, although that was obviously a blip back in November.

The ugly - Matt Rhead sweating in the August sun at SJP, while generally looking like someone who should be cleaning public toilets.

The good - the way the paying public at Lincoln have massively got behind their team numbers wise in a way my team could only dream about

The bad - our usual mid table atrocious run that always seems to balls up our recent seasons

The ugly - The Mansfield manager walking, disgraceful way to go about things
