have many surpassed his total since moving from luton?
Nearly as good as Liam Hearn, not quite but nearly. :animatedf:

You can't count any players who only made a cameo appearance!

Played in about 5 games i seem to recall.
You played us at SB back in around 2008, we won 1-0 and you played Lennon, Holt and Doherty in midfield which a) was incredibly old and b) all three sat in front of the back four all game.

Doherty was a good player, mind. Didn't he retire early due to injury or have to go PT or something?

An injury put paid to his career which was a shame because he was outstanding for us and a real leader.

Yeah, was a good player.

L2 seemed to have a period from around 2004-2008 where it felt like there were more good players and teams then normal. 2006/07 especially seemed to be that with Hartlepool, MK Dons, Posh, Lincoln, Swindon Shrewsbury, Stockport, Bristol Rovers, Walsall at the top end.

Oh yes.

Oh yes.

Happy, happy memories.
Wow those brought some memories flooding back, I was right in line with Jevons goal, had it gone just over the bar instead of under it it would've hit me, I remember after the game loads of Everton fans cheering out of their windows at all of our coaches as they drove past.

Oh and we were making jokes about Liverpools purple bins for weeks after too. :bg:

That Jevons goal was one of those moments where time stood still for a nanosecond until the 7000 Town fans behind the goal realised what had actually happened, then cue pandemonium in the away end. Unforgetable scenes, the like I don't think we'll ever see again sadly.

Yeah from my angle it looked to be hitting the bar then just dipped enough to drop underneath. I always remember Danny Butterfield clearing Heskeys header off the line in normal time too, unbelievable clearance that day was just meant to be.

Did he play for you in League 2? I don’t think he did.

Should probably give Collins a mention you know that striker who plays for Luton I forget his first name, he has banged loads of goals in for whoever he has been at the last few seasons.

Also for Lincoln back in the day there were the likes of Ben Futcher and Jamie McCome in their defence who were always shit to be up against.

Oh does anyone remember Junior Agogo?

Steve Bull is a good shout. A very clinical finisher and wasn't a bad option for England as well.
