Fancy Swindon with the big pitches at Vale Park and Wembley, minds not changed after watching that but a decent watch. Northampton don’t get a lot of luck atm.

Congrats on Northampton making the final, absolutely awful from us second half. Our away from is awful so no chance we’re clinging onto that. Driving home disappointed tonight

Absolutely woeful in the second half, average at best first with two good moments of quality.

Players shit themselves.

We are bang in this tie. Great away end in that second half, really lifted the team and stuck with them. Mansfield didn’t lay a glove on us second half. First half I think we did ok but looked ragged at the back, don’t get Mills at right back when Harriman is available.

Enthusiasm is back.

Why is Mills getting stick when Koiki was at fault for both Mansfield goals?

Very quiet in those home ends during the second half. Must have been nervous.

You been on shandys again big lad.

No mate just a bit surprised. We were pouring it on and it was a bit quiet. Unsurprisingly very loud first half, better to go to Field Mill than Harrogate or Sutton.

thought both set of fans could do bet.

northampton again couldnt sell out which is real surprise, we didn’t turn up 2nd half either performance or crowd 2nd half.

Didn’t hear anything from northampton at all.

Maybe. I think Swindon and Port Vale will be watching that thinking their game is the hardest one to win

In some respects some might think that but Northampton and their set pieces would give us problems as we’ve conceded a fair few from them and with Mansfield in the first half their ability to break at pace could cause some headaches for us too.

Thought it was a decent game. Both sides capable but with deficiencies. Mansfield look really poor at the back but have goalscorers. Northampton are functional and I can see them getting back into it. Going to go to the wire.

Very poor from us I agree. Both sets of fans not selling is a poor old show ain’t it.

Going to be interesting to see how we set up on Wednesday, as Oates looks like he'd enjoy hitting us on the break a lot. Might struggle to make inroads at set pieces as well, O'Toole and Hawkins very good aerially today.

I think the first 11 is good enough for anyone in this league, but the understudies, Maxted, Kanu, Mills, Rose etc aren't really up to scratch. Depends on who's available to play on Wednesday, but despite losing it does feel the momentum shifted out way a bit.

This fan shaming is all a bit silly. It's a nervy old game, the last thing I want to do is singing.

I merely made an observation and it seems to have hit a nerve

Yeah we had Kanu a few years ago on loan and he wasn’t overly impressive then. Seems not to have improved at all, his first touch in particular is just horrible.

I think with the one goal deficit you at least don’t have to go forcing the issue and can play a patient game.

Looking forward to tomorrows game now. I get the feeling the winner of that will go on to get promoted.

Still, the next leg here is beautifully poised

Oli Hawkins was our MOTM.

I would look at getting Lapslie or Clarke in for Wednesday, not enough battling in midfield and it just gets picked up unchallenged too easy which resulted in Northampton keeping the pressure on easily.

Im doubting myself now. Swindon have got a lot of match winners and we've been in very patchy form. But then they must have deficiencies to have sneaked into the playoffs at the last minute. I hate all this build up. Either wallop us 5-0 or something....I don't think I could stand a tight game or two.

Haven’t we got a few of our own? Wilson, Proctor and Garrity? Be a huge test tomorrow but we’ve earned the right to be in the play offs and so have to be positive.

If we fall short we fall short but the season will have still been a great one and the future of this club now is far brighter than it’s been in decades.

Natural mate i've been turtle heading all afternoon.

Veeeryyy nervous about tomorrow. Highly doubt it'll be a walloping. 1 goal either way going into the away leg i think.
