Lol it is ok to say the odd sceptical thing about Corbyn without it being a full out attack. ;-)

Corbyn is a very good "rallier", we all know that. His supporters like him and Glastonbury is a good hotbed of "lefties".

My point is that the Tories did still get more votes at the last election so I'd hardly say Glastonbury is a good indication of voters or even a good place to win new votes. Which makes his appearance all a bit pointless really.

Corbyn is quite good at talking to his "own people" - is those who already agree with him. It's convincing the rest of the country which will be more challenging.
18 million people watch Glastonbury. You can't buy advertising this effective. Also it really annoys right wing, snowflake weirdos who keep banging on about armed forces day as if it's a real thing. Double bubble.

It was amazing to see the prime minister at Glastonbury. You only have to see the reaction by the scum, express and Mail to see how effective it was. They're fucking terrified.

I have problems with Mason and some of his positions, but full marks for this sort of trolling.

Paul Mason is currently good. I fully expect him to say something awful tomorrow.

I've had my issues with Corbyn not doing enough to reach people outside of his bubble, but like you say, Glastonbury is a huge platform and reaches a great number of people. It was a smart move, with nothing to lose by doing it.

I wouldn't get too excited about that one, Aber. All sorts of boors and clods watch cricket these days. Look at Dave.

Corbyn hasn't quite won over the other side yet.

Peaking far too early. It could be 2022 before there's another general election.

Good point Steven. They'll let any old commie scruff into the cricket these days. Looking forward to hearing it around every football ground in the country this coming season. Apart from Chelsea obviously.

If we starting hearing it booming out over the croquet and the bowls, he's made it.

Nah, trying to suppress Labour turnout innit :animatedf:
When do you think we'll have another election? I'm thinking October depending on the outcome of the criminal cases being brought.

I'm not sure, I think a lot depends on who the Tory leader is. May won't fight the next election, and does anyone want the job whilst in charge of Brexit negotiations and with no majority?

It'll be up to Labour to keep the pressure on the government, but they'll need a coherent Brexit policy to do that. I think the Tories will cling on until someone actually wants the top job.

They have a coherent Brexit policy and a fella in Starmer that would be an immediate upgrade on Davis / Johnson. I can see May being gone by the end of next week with some non entity like Hammond taking over ( although I'm hoping for Rees-Mogg because that would be the end of 'em). It only takes a couple of prosecutions/deaths/ resignations and the likes of Ken Clarke to start acting the c*** and it's game over, time for an election. Can't wait.

I'm seeing a counter-movement since the election though. EDL types getting their ammo off Watson & Tommeh.

I dunno, I'm not convinced it's that clear. That's a pretty low bar to clear though. A turd in a wig would be an upgrade!

You gasheads are ones to get carried away aren't you. Tick tock ;)

Gasheads have been saying you'll be in the same division as the mighty reds for 16 years now, so my automatic reaction to any prediction made by a gashead is to take it with a large pinch of salt. In all cases.

I'm not sure it can be dismissed that easily. Potential of a genuinely left-wing government got the right spooked; far-right vanguard desperate now and will increasingly make presence felt now that their interests can no longer be guaranteed in Westminster.

You're right, I'm being flippant and I expect they will organise as far as they can. We'll do what we always do though, shut them down.
Don't lose heart mates.

The last few weeks have seen the far-right separately mobilise several thousand people - in London this weekend and Manchester a couple of weeks back.

It's clear that the vast majority of the people marching as the Football Lads Alliance or UK Against Hate aren't hardcore fascists or even hardcore racists. The fact that they are organising via "Oppose Bad Things" fronts to an extent shows their weakness.

But at the moment, there's not been anything like a co-ordinated anti-fascist response nor is it clear who or what can organise mass antifascism on the scale to oppose this.

Prediction time: No election until Brexit is done. Hammond and Davis (as reported in the DailyFail) will lead Brexit negotiations.

Brexit will be a success and Hammond will be re-elected with a 300 majority.

But you're always, spectacularly wrong.
