Protesting =/= boycotting. They aren't one and the same. I still want Venky's out but it doesn't stop me having a season ticket.

I'm sure it's every week I have to make the same points, gets really boring after a while. The drop in attendances has a very clear reason. The 5k+ gap between our crowds in 1999-2001 and 2012 onwards has one clear reason. Venky's.
utter bollocks, you expected to bounce back straight away in 2000 and you did in 2001 hence the higher crowds.

Part of the protest was boycotting games until the Venkys left, this went out of the window as soon as you started winning games again.

I don't blame you for getting a season ticket, once again you're one of the cheapest in the area. Well done the Venkys, putting fans first.

Really? You were vastly different and against the manager then, you weren't in 99.
We'd just spent £8m on Rhodes and had some real quality in the squad; on the pitch we had enough to go up, off the pitch we were a complete shambles.

Untrue. I've always wanted Venky's gone and the only game I've boycotted was the Blackpool game in the cup when it was a joint organised protest. I'm not saying that every single one of the missing fans is a boycotter, obviously some would only have been going for Prem football, but that's the same at every club up and down the country.

Standard adult price in the Blackburn End is £399, in the Town End it's £400. The cheap season ticket excuse your fans like to use is in the past now. Mine's £90 and at Deepdale the equivalent is £125 mind.

Our season tickets have gone from £225 to £399 under Venky's, "putting fans first" indeed.

I'm going out, but your cheapest season ticket is £319, so £81 cheaper than our cheapest. A big difference.

Compare equivalents. Standard prices in the respective home ends. £399 vs £400. Enjoy your day.

I thought that you lot must have had a change of heart seen as all your fans turned out again last week. Or is it like everybodies been saying all along, that their was no protest, just lots of toys being thrown out of prams?

All our fans didn't turn out last week, only 26k turned up, at least 15k must have stayed away.

I outlined why all your boycott arguments were bollocks in the league one forum last week, even another Blackburn fan agreed.

Haha Blackburn fans have been obsessed with Wigan all season. Now that we're giving some stick back after your fans and managers wind up attempts all throughout the season backfired miserably, you've thrown your toys out of the pram by trying to turn things around, Blackburn were the ones desperately trying to force a rivalry all season.
everybody has been obsessed with us mate this season.. dont half get some shit on social media..very popular club

Took a bigger away following to Donny than any away game you lot had last season. Just a bigger club I guess.

Go on then, I'll bite.

Also had at least 9 smaller than our smallest away following. :dk:

Looking secure with these contract extensions.

Maxwell/ Rudd (2020)
Fisher (2021), Clarke (2020), Davies (2021), Earl (2020)
Pearson (2021), Ledson (2021)
Barkhuizen (2020), Browne (2020), Robinson (2020)
Maguire (2021)
...as well as Harrop (2021).
Need to sort out new deals for Gallagher, Cunningham and DJ and supposedly looking at extensions for Huntington & Browne. Think we want to tie down Horgan as well, club still think highly of him it seems.

Are the trains running to Shitpool for our friendly against Kirkham?

I might actually bother with that one if so.

Yeah they are, reduced service though with Northern being shite and some are buses. But there are trains.
