To the Blackburn kid putting down their empty stadium down to Venky's - it was empty years before their arrival - who are you trying to fool?

Friendly against St Mirren cancelled at a days notice with many fans having booked travel and accommodation. Send this man in I say!

Why are you trying to lie when the cold hard facts suggest otherwise? Our average attendance in every single Premier League season since Ewood was rebuilt has been higher than the capacity of your ground, funnily enough. :fish:

I don't see what point you're making other than admitting that even with glory hunters, your ground is too big for you. Ewood was empty in the PL - nothing to do with Venky's and everything to do with Blackburn being a small club with a simmering racist element that keeps away the towns British-Asians, who should in theory, make up 30% of your fan base.

Your bitterness really is quite staggering. Either that or you're a shit WUM. More than likely a combination of the two.

Bizarre.

I merely took issue with your declaration that your empty seats are solely down to Venkys when for years we watched you in the PL playing to empty seats.

What is bitter about pointing out that? It is the truth - I'm sorry if you're too young to remember but yes it really did happen - you had empty seats years before Venkys.

Pointing out a fact that goes against your previous posts is not wummery. The WUM on this occasion is yourself. Disagree? Then why did you make reference to Swansea when it wasn't part of the discussion and why did you seek to bring out the fishing rod?

You owe me an apology tbpfh

I made reference to Swansea because you're a Swansea fan you gimp  And the "years we watched you in the PL" I presume you mean the one season that we were both in the PL, which was under Venky's, and therefore proves my point. The "your ground's too big for you" argument is boring as fuck anyway.

There are only 12 fans boycotting Blackburn games, the rest now support Man City.

:ffs:

No for anyone who isn't five years old we saw (WITH OUR EYES) empty seats for years on MOTD/Sky.

Swansea were not part of the discussion. It had no relevance. Therefor the only reason to reference it was to WUM.

You're not very good at this are you?

That time of year again. Anyone off to the Roses match on Friday? Weather looks good last time I checked which makes a change. Got soaked through last year.

Nah, watching it in the pub, the Thomas Cook bit sold out quickly and the party stand is a fucking nightmare for getting served.

The rain last year was ridiculous.

First year I'm missing it in ages, got to take my family to the airport at 3am and I'm skint. Got offered a ticket yesterday though and was still incredibly tempted.

If you want to discuss shitty cricket I'm pretty sure there's a thread for that.

Literally checked it two days ago and it was all sun. Just checked now and it’s all rain. I give up when it comes to Manchester!

It's quite possibly the worst location for a cricket ground in the world, I always think Preston is bad for rain until I go to Manchester.

I fancy us tomorrow as well, fucked off if it gets rained off again, Livingstone is flying and Buttler is available..

Been to Swansea twice, it's pissed it down twice and we lost twice. I'll be glad if I never have to go there again.

That was brilliant. Feared when Livingstone stuck Lester in for the final over, held his nerve though! Come on Lancs!!

Was massively into cricket at one point, and Lancashire were my team. If I remember right it was Atherton, Crawley, Fairbrother, Lloyd, Hegg, Akram, Martin, Austin and the old boy mike watkingson. Can't remember any of the others. Was and still am to a degree a rugby league fan. Always followed the saints and used to go to the Boxing Day games against Wigan.

Was a great game and credit to Lancashire, to see both sides hit 13 an over in front of a full house shows how that rivalry still cuts deep.

Championship game tomorrow.

Any news on Barky's injury? Seems like it was just bruising but its quiet on that front.

Bodin is suspended so Horgan might actually get his chance to stake a claim against QPR. I'm still on the fence whether he can deliver week in, week out but could be the surprise package this year.

Struggling to pick an 11, quality competition.
