Further proof of what a useless sack of shit Derek Shaw is.

One of the key events during Shebby’s tenure was the involvement of Rovers' managing director, Derek Shaw, who was characterised by Rovers' own barristers as a rogue element at Ewood Park, in signing off a lucrative contract which paid off the sacked Rovers manager Henning Berg in full.

The fact that he had made a mess of the contract, causing substantial financial loss to the owners was well known, but Shebby in an email dated 15th April 2013 drew more light into it.

There is no financial problem as the Owners put money in every month. That is a fact. Your wage bill has been massive until this season (probably still is in the top half), Venky's are nowhere near as bad as you lot make out, they've backed you since relegation but parachute money has finished now so you're feeling the effects.

pubs dotted everywhere outside the town centre also and yes i expect their will be a lot of police outside the train station, and last season when we did oldham away we stopped in manc and they wouldn't let us in loads of places in a big group...city's for you!
