Muzzle , you going to stand for this from your big, historic rivals?

The Greater Manchester Derby.

Now, don't be trying to wind me up :) If we went bump, we'd still be a bigger club and have bigger attendances then the pie eaters

Not when your new home ground is Leigh Sports Village after the admins sell off the Reebok to a supermarket. ;)

Even if we played on the local schools playing fields, we'd still have more of a crowd lad, don't go kidding yourself :)

Ken Anderson's rant on Bolton's official site is gold.

FRom a guy who was banned for 8 years for being a company director....still trying to work out how he passed the FA fit and proper person test

Madness that he's deemed fit to be in charge of a football club.

Which is part of the reason I find the EFL's stance laughable sometimes, as they signed off the approvable for him to take us over, especially as he was baneed from being a company director for 8 years, the most serious bits being diverting company funds into personal accounts, VAT discrepancies and failure to cooperate with receivers

Was surprised to see that Preston are the biggest club never to have been in the PL. Not sure if I was surprised because I thought they had been or because they were the biggest club not to have been. Kinda both, I guess. Then Bristol City and Plymouth. After that it's clubs like Luton, Carlisle, Doncaster but also Brentford.
Are Swindon currently the lowest-placed former PL team?

Haven't been in the top flight since 1961.

It's no wonder our crowds are crap.

What's the likelihood of trains running from Preston to Manchester on a Saturday by the time we play Bolton?

Turns a rancid away day into a decent one if we can go via Chorley, or early doors in Manchester.

With Northern Rail in charge, don't fancy your chances

Looks like the line is open but there’s industrial action as per, so chances are very slim probably.

They announced yesterday no trains for the first 3 saturdays in Feb. I need to get to Manchester after that game so gonna have to blag a lift off someone.

Yep, they look fucked.

Tickets £28 this time, thought they would be charging us top whack considering their money problems.

Aye so did I, not complaining though. Very very skint at the moment, Stoke is really tempting me on Saturday though after the performance on Saturday.

That’s only the lower tier price. If you sell that allocation, upper tier tickets are £32.

Upper tier on sale tomorrow, first batch sold quicker than I thought, £32 it is then.

Looks like Kenny realised he cocked the ticketing up for the Latics game and isn’t making the same mistake twice. Wanker!

35 quid, upper tier only. Loads boycotted so we only ended up taking 2k and left Ken making a pittance due to police costs.

Tried that with us last season but the club kicked off and they gave in and sold us the lower tier first.

Greedy Ken. I often get hassle for the pricing and I am with you guys on it. I refuse to pay anything above £30 nowadays, and even then I think twice about it

We'll be back above Blackburn soon enough as well.

Shame those Dingles keep picking up vital wins.

League Table, lads.

Preston -- P 4 -- W 3 -- D 1 -- L 0 -- GF 12 -- GA 4 = 10pts (+8)

Wigan -- P 3 -- W 1 -- D 1 -- L 1 -- GF 4 -- GA 6 = 4pts (-2)

Blackburn -- P 3 -- W 1 -- D 0 -- L 2 -- GF 3 - GA 7 = 3pts (-4)

Bolton - P 4 -- W 0 -- D 2 -- L 2 -- GF 4 -- GA 6 = 2pts (-2)
