Total War: Warhammer.

I just completely fucked up assaulting Marienburg and got sent back with my tail between my legs whilst a bunch of filthy Orcs took the opening to raid me.

It's nice to get a beating :bg:

My Xbone came today, so bought

Binding of Isaac
And went with the Games With Gold while I could as well, Costume Quest 2 and Goat Simulator.

Thinking of buying Arkham Knight tomorrow too.

Not started it yet. Next weekend maybe?

Anywho, just bought Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines and Amnesia Dark Descent for PC. Both on GoG.

Anyone would think that, being regulated by two different companies, their prices are likely to fluctuate and be different to one another...

No need to be sarcastic, it was a genuine question. I'd be interested to see how the profits are shared for online sales. I imagine Microsoft are hoping to attract consumers who own both consoles, but I wonder what proportion of the market they make up.

Oh the PS4 has absolutely murdered the Xbone in this generation, having sold about 36million to Xbox's around 19million, so potentially Xbox are offering lower prices to try and gather more customers. Xbox has been slowly gaining traction on the PS4, but obviously it isn't going to completely catch up that kind of gap.

They won't, but it's still possible. PS3 was far behind the 360 for most of the previous generation, it was only in the last year or so in that generation that Xbox sales fell behind.

Not sure how true it is now, but I remember reading an article that the Xbone was selling at a similar rate to how the 360 was (which as above, was hugely successful). It's just that the PS4 is selling at a similar rate to the PS2, which sold a shit tonne.

Don't look much into this 24p. It's probably because EA and Microsoft are generally closer so just a little off to show this.

Dunno if I've mentioned these two before as I bought them a while but they remain unplayed, but Q.U.B.E and The Talos Principle. Bought another couple this weekend called VVVVVVVV and The Art Of Balance which I'm currently playing. Its about balancing shapes on top of one another and its fiendishly difficult, but quite good.

Traded in a big stack of games that I now had on my HDD, and got Murdered Soul Suspect and Sunset Overdrive for about a tenner.

What are the recent Assassins Creed games like? I loved 2/ Brotherhood/ Revelations, but 3 really put me off. The settings for Unity and Syndicate look awesome though, and both periods of history Im quite interested in so I feel like I should give them a try.

Just bought Welcome To The Game after watching a youtube vid of it. It seems like a creepy as fuck puzzle type game. You look through the deep web for a red room, having to find bits of code through certain sites, fight off hacking attempts and you can be kidnapped whilst on it too. Looked fun enough, so I went with it! Only £1.49 on Steam too, so can't go too wrong, surely!

Oh god, I'm a big fucking wetter... Games normally don't scare me. But that shit..... I've just had to Alt - F4 out of the game when a Russian kidnapper came into my house (you turn off the lights to hide from them), could hear him stepping around and he basically whispered in my character's ear. I closed the game there and then.

Not for the faint of heart.

After claiming (to myself) that I wouldn't, I crumbled and bought SFV to scratch my fighting game itch. Only played 10 mins or so last night but it looks sweet.
Shame I'm shite at Capcom fighters.

Devil May Cry Special Edition on the PS4 store. The only one I haven't played. I know about the backtracking. It looks beautiful, though.

It's a fucking shit game that I absolutely love for some reason. New characters are great, particularly Vergil.

Sorry, that should say 'Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition', in case you thought I might be referring to DMC: Devil May Cry, which is one of the least memorable games I've ever played.

Knew which you meant when you mentioned backtracking. Great game though with a few flaws. That DMC from Ninja Theory is completely absent of soul or charm.

DOOM is reduced on PS just now to £29.99, think I'll bite as it looks as if it has recaptured the spirit of the original games.

FO3 is fantastic but New Vegas is the high point for the series. Don't get the PS3 version, though, coz it's broken.

I'm on Xbox so should be fine. If New Vegas is backwards compatible then I'll definitely give it a try next.

I'm a little concerned with my start on Fallout 3 though. Can't find any money. And apparently I let a prostitute go for free who would have given me 300 caps had I asked for them. That's a costly error.

You don't need caps, really. You'll pick up tons of loot as you start to venture out a bit more. Barter is the one stat I barely put anything in to. Speech, science and lockpick are ur friends.
