I've always wondered what happened to those 40,000 odd fans you took to Wembley that day? I'm guessing 33,000 of them must have fallen into a black hole or something because you've only seen about 7,000 of them at Priestfield since!

Really disappointing that we didn't make the Play-Offs, did our best but it just wasn't to be with Barnsley beating Wigan. However, lots of positives to take as we've done exceptionally well to even take the race to the last day. Winning 6 in a row with 3 conceded is pretty good and we've got a solid team for next year. Keep Madden and Clarke and we'll be pushing next year.

Congrats to Barnsley as well, deserved it over the season and did brilliantly today to smash Wigan.

Huge congratulations to Burton, really pleased for our fellow Staffordshire club. Just as well they got the point they needed considering the abortion of an effort from Vale against Walsall.

Well done Barnsleh. We gave it a good shot at Bramall Lane, but you deserved it over the whole season. We were bottom half in mid-January, so I will claim we deserved it over the last few months .

Good luck in the playoffs, hope you get up and stay up. We'll try and join you next season.

Cheers Scunneh lads. Nothing more you could have done today. Good luck next season, if we're still down here then I think we should both be in for a good one. Commiserations also to Gillingham, shit end to the season for them but keep their better players and they're well placed for next season.

Walsall, then. Superb win for them today as well, different side to the one we beat when O'Dismal was in charge a couple of months back and we'll have to be at our absolute best to get past them. Congrats to Burton (who'd have thought Aston Villa vs Burton would be an actual league fixture?) and also to Wigan who despite their tonking still won the title.
