I read that there's talk of an Agents of Shield spin off being planned but nothing's decided yet

It's not really good enough to have a spin off is it?

I hope the 2 stay away from each other tbh. He has zero to do with Shield anyway and this series is a lot darker and graphic than anything AoS have ever done. Hopefully the most it'll ever do is "name drop" or something.

Wouldn't be surprised for him to show up as a lawyer sometime.

Skye's Secret Agents I think the spin off idea is, in the comics Fury goes to Quake (Daisy/Skye) to form her own secret team when the skrulls invade not knowing who he can trust.

Daredevil will apparantly be linked with avengers 2, but will lead up to Luke cage and eventually the defenders

The Defenders would be interesting. And the Inhumans movie should be good despite Marvel shoving it down our throat. Is the whole Defenders, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones thingy being done on Netflix?

Well, if it's done half as well as this Daredevil season has been done, I'm looking forward to them all. Especially AKA Jessica Jones.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Daredevil, really enjoyable thus far. But I hate how they've released all 13 episodes at once for 2 reasons. One, because I'll now have no sleep for the next couple of nights until I've watched them all. And two, because I would have liked to see them piecemeal, gives them a bit of a build up and the series will be fresher in my mind when I likely move on to watch Jessica Jones, which is looking like it won't be released until next year, given their desire to leave a year between series releases.

I like the fact that they have released the whole thing in one go. Means e don't have any "previously on Daredevil" crap at the beginning. And I get to watch them when I want. Loving the darkness of it all and the human touch they have given The Kingpin. Plus, the graphic nature...if this were a film, it would be a 15 at the very least. Only 3 more episodes to go! As far as I'm aware, AKA Jessica Jones is still on for dropping this year.

Releasing all in one go is far better for the viewer. Services like netflix are the future, traditional channels aren't.

Daredevil has been watched it and I have to say that it puts most other Marvel - and DC - shows to shame. An excellent series with interesting characters and a great script. Granted, they didn't have to deal much in the way of "superhero" stuff but it was still brilliantly executed. Hats off to you, Netflix.

Seen about 7 of them so far, and I love it. Much much more enjoyable than Agents of Shield, then again this is clearly aimed at an older audience. So far, so good

Just finished episode 8 and its excellent, having it in a series like this allows them to flesh out the stories on the characters. Love it and the fact it doesn't really touch on the avengers heros (apart from The subtle references) despite being in the same universe is good. Love the dark setting of it as well

Absolutely can not wait to get started on Daredevil. Seen superb reviews and it sounds as if everybody thinks it's awesome. Got like a million shows to catch up on first though... gah!

Daredevil has got a second series, which is excellent. I've loved series 1 and Kingpin is the star of the show.

As you would expect, there's tonnes of references and Easter eggs dotted throughout the show, but I really hope this is what I think it is

I'm probably going to go to the midnight showing of Age of Ultron tonight. Hyped as fuck. Gotta rewatched Thor: The Dark World first though... rewatched all of the phase 2 films apart from that.

IGN gave the film an 8.9 or something though. Said it doesn't quite recapture the magic of seeing them all on screen together like the first one does, but it's still entertaining as fuck none the less.

I'm not going to be able to to see it until next week. I'm not quite as hyped for it as I was the first one, however I'll watch Winter Soldier again before hand and that should do the job

8.9/10

Worse than The Room

-IGN

Actually, having checked it, it only got an 8.6 so it's even worse than that :o

Anyway, yeah. I obviously won't give anything away but basically having seen it...

I say I'm disappointed, but understand that is only because my expectations were so high. I wanted a 10/10 film, but it was probably closer to an 8 or so. If it were just your basic Thor or Cap film or whatever, you'd probably be happy enough with it as an addition to the MCU... it's only the fact that it's an Avengers film, and that the first one was so good, that I had hoped that it would have been a tad better than it was.

Overall though, yeah, absolutely go and see it if you like all of this Marvel junk. You'll still really like it, I reckon. Hurry up and do so, so that we can talk about shit on here! :o

C'mon lets just discuss it!

Really great to be surprised by some of the smaller details from the comics. Like Loki's invisible masturbation stick. I never saw that coming!

Did you still until the very end? Anything happen? A simple "yes" or "no" will suffice!

I didn't stay until the very end, but only because I'd looked it up and saw that there was nothing there apparently (I could be wrong perhaps, but I'm still yet to see anything saying otherwise). There is a mid credits scene though which I did stay for.

I think people are expecting way too much from Marvel at the moment. Of the films they've done, the only truly excellent films were Iron Man ,GOTG, the Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Iron Man 2 and 3, Captain America TFA, Thor x 2, the 2nd Hulk movie. Far more acceptable to awful films than really good ones. Like the Dark Knight rises found after the Dark Knight did so well, the Avengers 2 was never going to surpass the original. A slight step back is good for the franchise I think ahead of Civil War and the Infinity War films.

Going to watch the film tomorrow, can't wait.
