I wrote an article on Kurdish independence, basic overview with a bit of the controversy covered. http://www.concrete-online.co.uk/examined-kurdish-independence-iraq/
BBC reporting that the last IS controlled City in Syria has now been taken by "the Syrian government army and its allies".
If your article isn't talking about the Zionist triangle between Israel, Saud & the US you'll have missed the mark.
It can buy it's way around international diplomacy, that's exactly what it's been doing. Israel & Saudi's enemies are the same and that's why they've worked together in secret for decades. Ofc Israel isn't dumb, they're running the world.Israel isn't dumb. It knows Saudi Arabia is an awful ally which thinks it can buy its way around international diplomacy and abandon allies at the drop of a hat. They also know Hezbollah is stronger than ever. Not going to be a war.
Ofc Israel isn't dumb, they're running the world.
Here's about 1500 words of my hot take- https://levantinepolitics.wordpress.com/2018/01/03/what-i-s-going-on-in-iran/What we think of these Iranian protests? Much ado about nothing or another revolution on the cards? I’m finding it fascinating people are calling for the Shah’s return.

Theresa May ready to join military action against Assad regime in Syria without first seeking parliamentary consent, sources tell the BBC
Assad, on the brink of victory after years of a multifaceted bitter war - decides to set off chemical weapons on an already beaten enemy to receive world condemnation and face military intervention from the biggest military power the world has ever seen.
This all seems very legit
In the blue corner we have the reigning and defending champions; USA, UK, EU, Israel, Saudi Arabia
In the red corner we have the former champions; Russia, Iran, Syria, Yemen
It's been nice knowing you guys.
"victory whilst almost certain - is/was a long way off" - err what?Weird how the rebels keep gassing their own families instead of the soldiers attacking them isn't it. Maybe has something to do with the fact that victory whilst almost certain, is a long way off, and negotiations in Ghouta had come to a halt with Jaysh al-Islam refusing to accept Assad's terms.
there has been no proof assad was behind the alleged chem attacks- and they've just blown to smithereens what could have been cast iron evidence proving his guiltI don't see what the big deal is. Finally the coalition is taking action to Putin's stubborn stance on Syria and trying to do something about Assad's teargas methods. It could all masssively backfire of course as another leader may not be able to control the country like he does (by killing anyone who disagrees with him that is) à la Saddam.
We shall see. Putin needs to own up now. Reckon it's another Vietnam rather than a cold war 2.0.
