Awful game between woking and Dover. The usual for woking. Anything arial in the box is likely to lead to a goal. Attack wise. Lafayette showed glimpses, but aimless long balls down the centre was frustrating to watch.

An awful SIX GOAL THRILLER! :tw:

We panicked really, normally we keep it on the deck (we play best when we do) those centre backs were just never going to lose headers even against Rendell and Lafayette. The defending from set pieces was fucking atrocious as usual, but Kev was fantastic, still so skillful and can always create an opportunity

Get in, Halifax drew, no need to give B2TF a shout once they won. Shouldn't be seeing him for a while!
Those who've followed ny career know that I will never hide in adversity althuogh today's result is a long way short of that. A minor irritation and merely delays our desired exit from this pointless competition. :dk:

Ha. Lots to be worried about. Season ticket holder at Woking for the past 3 years, and it's clear how you score past them. Put the ball high into the box. We won't do that.

In addition, I don't believe they've scored from a corner all year. So put your money on that happening against us....

what I don't get about woking is they fall I tot his same pattern. Ball in the deck, fantastic width first half. Second, rely on punted long balls for 43 minutes, before playing again (and scoring) in the final moments.

Yeah, come off it Navs, i had 4 lovely pints of London Pride and came away from the game thinking that we'd lost 3-2 having missed the equaliser for 2-2 as I was still in the bar. Good sing off in the away end second half, some of which was led by a six year old kid (?).

Haha, that's a fair point Sketyy. I always enjoy it when Dover visit as the fans are great fun. it was just a horrible example of a football match. That said, I chose to go to it rather than travel to Hemel, which shows how much I think about my own team at the moment.

Taken from our forum

''I asked the referee to make a final decision at 1pm - explaining that there were four coaches of visiting supporters about to depart.

His reaction was that supporters were not his concern.

He said that he had allowed a game to start at Dover recently when it was in doubt but regretted it and was subsequently criticised for it.

No matter - the four match officials charged us £320 for their trouble and then went home.''

Both managers were happy to play and apparently at 3pm the pitch was absolutely fine. Maybe the ref just had a headache or summit. I think thats our 1st postponement of the season which isnt bad for us, normally we'd be enjoying our winter break by now.

The ref was quite clearly a jobsworth.

Onto Tuesday. Praying it will be on. I doubt I'd be able to make the game if it is postponed. Shame really, would have been over 400 Fleet fans there yesterday. Will be lucky to get 200 on Tuesday I reckon.

You based in the area then? Thought you were more central to London...?

Our replay is off tomorrow as the Eggers played a friendly yesterday and destroyed the pitch.

We will now play our league game against Telford as originally planned.

Hopefully we can pull something out of the bag tomorrow, we're a better away team than home. Will be really tough with the way dover and us are playing at the moment though

That's a fantastic draw for us. Tomorrow's game is now MASSIVE. It's happening, isn't it? Betsy is going to lift the cup at Wemberlee.

I'd imagine FCUM should have a few down aswell, so the attendance won't be that bad.

Pleased to avoid Gateshead/Wrexham, and pleased to see them draw another all Prem tie.

Braintree. Step aside.

A Northern away trip has been a long time coming and I know that Ferriby is quite obviously a shit heap but hey, it's a Northern shit heap.

Just hope we win. Will be yet another battle of the tinpots either way, for a place in the semi. Nice one.
