Smackdown Live opens with MIZ TV, and his guests are the New Day. Miz attempts to get the scoop on who will be the one to go on to the money in the bank ladder match. They all claim it's going to be them and say that Miz only looks out for themselves. Miz spoke of the credentials of the new day but they still refused to to give them the scoop after a lot of tomfoolery. They then said it will be Big E, but they are actually referring to who of the new day will face Miz tonight. Miz leaves the ring and says they don't get what they want, if he doesn't get what he wants. The New day shout "SHAME" as he leaves the ring and throw pancakes at him.

Miz is greeted backstage by Paige and tells him to go back to the ring to prove that he can beat any member of the new day.

1# The Miz bt. Big E (w/ The New Day)
(Kofi Kingston is on commentary for the match. During the match, The Bar run down and take out Woods as Kofi flies off the steel steps on to both men. A brawl ensues outside of the ring. Cesaro gets in the ring and as Big E goes to take him down, Miz hit him with a skull crushing finale to get the 3.)

We see Big Cass backstage on crutches after the attack from Bryan next week, it was announced that he is not medically cleared to compete. Therefore tonight, it will be Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy where the winner will go on to face Samoa Joe next week for a spot in money in the bank. Daniel Bryan is then asked about his match tonight and called Jeff Hardy a legend but one he will tap out.

2# Lana (w/ Aiden English) bt. Billie Kay (w/ Peyton Royce) in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match
(As the match begins, Aiden grabs the microphone and pulls out a big "LANA DAY" sign. Peyton slaps him as Lana attacked her taking her out. This led to Lana hitting Kay with a slam to the mat to get the 3.)

Backstage, Zelina Vega cuts a promo talking about Andrade "Cien" Almas and says he is the future of Smackdown Live.

Backstage, Carmella is wearing an Asuka mask and his asked about her. She referred to how Asuka should be afraid of her after she beat Charlotte twice after Charlotte beat Asuka at WrestleMania.

Renee Young introduced AJ Styles to the ring as we will find out the stipulation for the WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank. Shinsuke Nakamura interrupted, but continued to make a joke and not telling Styles the stipulation. Both men begin to fight on the outside and between the audience. Styles flies off the barricade but Nakamura hit him with a chair, then with a "knee to the face". Nakamura got on to the announce table and started counting to 10 before saying "Last Man Standing match".

4# Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows bt. The Usos to become the #1 contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship
5# Naomi bt. Sonya Deville (w/ Mandy Rose) in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match

Jeff Hardy is interviewed backstage about his match with Daniel Bryan next.

6# Daniel Bryan bt. Jeff Hardy Via Submission in a non-title match
(Samoa Joe was at ringside for this match. Due to pre-match stipulations, Daniel Bryan will face Samoa Joe next week in a money in the bank qualifying match. Post-match, Joe goes face to face with Bryan and says he fails to see what they are celebrating as next week, he faces him. Renee Young the interviews Joe backstage, he says Bryan is going to sleep next week.)

We see a promo video of Bianca Belair saying that we will find out who she is next week. We then see a promo EC3 who spoke about his next match on tv next week.

2# Lacey Evans bt. Kairi Sane

We hear from Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan after their six man tag team match with Undisputed era last week and they make a claim to be the #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship. We then hear from Undisputed era and call them losers and they shouldn't face them at Takeover - Chicago. Strong says he wants to fight Danny Burch next week to prove how out of his league he is.

3# Lars Sullivan bt. Ricochet & Velveteen Dream in a 2-on-1 Handicap match
(Dream left Ricochet by himself which led to Sullivan hitting the freak accident to get the 3.)

Next week, it will be Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai for the NXT Women's Championship. Cathy Kelley gets Kai's thoughts on the opportunity before Baszler interrupts and tells her she doesn't stand a chance. Kai shows a little bit of confidence by replying, "we'll see about that".

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae make their way to the ring. Gargano reflects on the attack and the consequences on his life, and says it is time to start thinking about their future. To the dismay of his wife, Gargano rips his neck brace off and says it's worth it. He says he wants to finish this with Ciampa right now.

Ciampa strolls out and warns Gargano if he is still in the ring when he arrives, he'll finish it. A number of officials stopped Gargano from attacking Ciampa. Ciampa gets in the ring, Gargano jumps on the apron but is knocked off by Ciampa, right in to LeRae who hits the ramp hard and is knocked out. A number of officials tend to LeRae as the show closes.

The show opens with a video talking about the importance of Memorial Day for the USA.

Braun Strowman makes his way to the ring and speaks of Money in the Bank and how he will destroy the other seven men. He questioned who is going to stop him, and he will be known as Mr. Monster in the Bank. He says he is taking that briefcase and cashing the contract in on Brock Lesnar.

Finn Balor made his way out, he makes claims he is determined to win the match as he never lost the Universal title. Strowman says that he put up a really good fight for a little man. Balor slaps him in the face before Strowman threw him across the ring. Kurt Angle came out and said Balor gave everything in his match with Strowman last week, and it was a great match. He then books Strowman vs. Balor right now.

1# Finn Balor bt. Braun Strowman Via DQ
(Kevin Owens was on commentary for this match. During the match, Balor went to the top for a second Coup De Grace when Owens blindsided him knocking him to the floor to cause the DQ. Post-match, Owens drives the ladder in to Balor before going after Strowman, who blocks it. Owens runs away and Strowman launches a ladder halfway up the ramp.)

Backstage, Kevin Owens is trying to get in to his car when Angle stops him and says that he needs to stay as he has a match against Bobby Roode tonight.

Sasha Banks is on a handheld video promo and spoke of winning the Gauntlet match tonight.

Elias is in the ring is in the ring and strums his guitar but keeps stopping until everyone is quiet. After the commercial, Elias is still in the ring but soon gets interrupted by Seth Rollins. Rollins invites Elias to leave which he does without incident.

2# Jinder Mahal (w/ Sunil Singh) bt. Seth Rollins Via DQ in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match
(As the referee was ejecting Sunil Singh, Mahal used the steel chair on the Intercontinental Champion. Moments later, Rollins gets some momentum and uses the chair on Mahal to cause the DQ. Post-match, Rollins hits Mahal with the chair again and then hits Sunil Singh. As Rollins is celebrating on the announce table, Elias blindsides him with a shot by the guitar. Rollins falls off the table on to the floor. EMTs tend to Rollins but soon walks off with assistance.)

3# Nia Jax vs. Michelle Webb in a non-title match ends in a no contest
(Ronda Rousey was on commentary for the match. Nia grabbed the microphone and hit several moves and makes a point of what she could do to Rousey at money in the bank. Nia challenges Rousey to come to the ring, she tells Rousey to her face that she is not intimidated by Rousey and finds it quite humorous. Nia laughs in her face as she leaves the ring.)

Dana Brooke is on a handheld video promo and spoke of how she will win tonight's gauntlet match.

4# Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt bt. The Ascension in a non-title match

The B-Team are backstage with Kurt Angle, they want a RAW Tag Team Championship match. Axel and Dallas come up with an idea of a B-Team Memorial Day BBQ Bash.

The Riott Squad are on a handheld video and are tearing up the shirts of their competitors and say that one of them will win the gauntlet match tonight.

5# Kevin Owens bt. Bobby Roode
(Post-match, as Owens tries to leave quickly, Braun Strowman comes back down and hits him with a running powerslam twice. Strowman then hits Roode with a running powerslam.)

Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring and apologised for last week. He said they were not Lashley's real sisters last week and they are men. He said then bemoaned at having to issue an apology in front of a repulsive crowd like the one in Richmond. Bobby Lashley made his way out and told Zayn they should settle their issue like men in the ring and challenged Zayn to a match at Money in the Bank. Zayn accepts the challenge and says he will Helluva kick the stupid smile off his face. They shake hands but Lashley squeezed the hand of Zayn and told him he apologies for everything he'll do to Zayn at Money in the Bank.

6# Drew McIntyre (w/ Dolph Ziggler) bt. Chad Gable

The B-Team are in the ring with The Ascension, The Revival, Titus Worldwide, Breezango and Heath Slater & Rhyno for the B-Team's Memorial Day Tag Team BBQ. Axel and Dallas then ask for all of their blessing to challenge for the RAW Tag Team Championship. When it was found that all the teams were out there for them to skip to the front of the line, a food fight breaks out. The B-Team do return to the ring and slammed Rhyno through a table who sat there through the melee and eat balony sandwiches.

Next week, Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens, Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Roode and Nia Jax vs. Natalya.

The B-Team are in Kurt Angle's office and complain about what just happened. Angle says that they will settle it in the ring next week when there will be a tag team battle royal where the winners will face Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt for the RAW Tag Team Championship.

Bayley makes her way to the ring for the gauntlet match, she is interviewed by Charly Caruso. Bayley says she will go through everyone, including Sasha Banks, to get a chance at the money in the bank contract.

Samoa Joe opens up Smackdown Live and sets up a ladder in the middle of the ring, climbs it and brings down the money in the bank briefcase. Joe promised to be smiling after Money in the Bank, then said he will prove to Daniel Bryan tonight that worse things do exist compared to "forced retirement". Joe advises Bryan calls Brie so they can inform their daughter that he won't be returning home the same man after money in the bank.

Daniel Bryan makes his way out and says you don't cross certain lines. Bryan wants to fight right now before Big Cass walks out. Cass makes claim to how it should be his money in the bank opportunity, he walks in to the ring and informs them that this match won't be happening as it will be himself vs. Joe when he is medically cleared - which is now. He takes out Joe with the crutch, Bryan with shots to Cass but Cass launched Bryan in to the ladder and hit both men with the briefcase.

Backstage, Paige makes Asuka vs. Mandy Rose tonight. Renee Young approached her and asked if what Cass said was true. She said he is medically cleared but Bryan did earn his second chance. Therefore she makes Big Cass vs. Samoa Joe vs. Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match tonight.

1# Shinsuke Nakamura bt. Tye Dillinger
(Post-match, Nakamura connects with a knee to the back of Dillinger's head before grabbing the mic and counting to 10.)

Dasha is backstage with AJ Styles, they discuss Nakamura choosing a last man standing match at Money in the Bank. Styles claims to be have been underestimated his entire career and promises to be last man standing at money in the bank.

Aiden English and Rusev introduce Lana to the ring, and Naomi makes her way to the ring with The Usos for the dance off. Both Lana and Naomi do a separate dance, then they dance together before Lana hit Naomi with a neckbreaker. Rusev pulls Lana off Naomi. Lana slaps Jimmy Uso. Naomi slaps Lana. The Usos take out Rusev and English. Naomi with her Rear View to Lana.

2# The New Day bt. The Miz & The Bar in a Six man tag team match

Backstage, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson talk about The Bludgeon Brothers. They are about to call them nerds when Harper and Rowan show up on a nearby screen.

3# Asuka bt. Mandy Rose Via Submission
(Before the match, Sonya Deville attacks Asuka as she is making her way to the ring. Carmella is on commentary for this match, and post-match, she has a confrontation with Asuka.)

Backstage, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch predict who will win the Smackdown women's championship at money in the bank. Both women both think they will win, and Paige comments how she likes this competitive spirit.

Sin Cara tries to give Andrade "Cien" Almas a hug when Zelina Vega shows up and tells Sin Cara to stay away. Sin Cara speaks of going way back with Almas but he tells Sin Cara to never touch him again.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Drake Maverick backstage on tonight's match. She points out a tweet from TJP about not caring about tonight. Maverick says respect is earned in the ring.

Aleister Black opens NXT and spoke about only needing one shout to fade his opponents to black. Lars Sullivan makes his way out and announces that he will be the first challenger at Takeover: Chicago as per GM William Regal's decision. Sullivans tells Black that he is looking at the next champ and there is nothing you can do about it. Sullivan attacks and Black goes for Black Mass. Sullivan stops his leg mid-kick and hits the Freak Accident on the NXT Champion.

1# War Raiders bt. George Hickson & Cody Vincent

After a promo hyping tonight's NXT Women's Championship match. Cathy Kelley catches up with Lacey Evans, she reminds Evans that the series is 1-1 between her and Kairi Sane. Evans says she does whatever it takes to win and doesn't care that Sane was the Mae Young Classic winner.

2# EC3 bt. Fabian Aichner

Part 2 of the promo from Bianca Belair is shown, speaking about her upbringing and coming from a family of trailblazers and her journey to NXT.

3# Ricochet bt. Chris Dijak
(Post-match, Ricochet starts talking about Velveteen Dream before the dream makes his way out. Dream claims anything Ricochet can do, he can do better. Ricochet challenges him to come to the ring. Dream makes it half way before telling Ricochet there is only one spotlight big enough to contain the two of them - Takeover: Chicago. Ricochet does a front flip over the top rope and landing at the bottom of the ramp to go face-to-face with the Dream.)

4# Shayna Baszler bt. Dakota Kai Via Submission to retain the NXT Women's Championship
(Post-match, Baszler re-applies the Kirifuda clutch before Nikki Cross breaks it up. As Baszler is leaving, Cross steals the women's title belt and goads Baszler back to the ring. Cross tells Kai to be the referee as she hit Baszler with the Purge and got Kai to count the 3. Cross then holds up the title and celebrates in the crowd and up the ramp with the title belt.)

Monday Night RAW opens with Elias strumming in the ring. He spoke about becoming Intercontinental Champion at Money in the Bank and what he did to Rollins last week. Rollins makes his way to the ring and grabs a steel chair. Both men have a stand off before Elias swung his guitar but Rollins blocked it with a chair shot. Mahal then attacks Rollins from behind and soon the Intercontinental Champion was double teamed both men. Roman Reigns makes the save and takes out Mahal, Elias and Sunil Singh. RAW GM Kurt Angle came out and made a tag team match right now.

1# Elias & Jinder Mahal (w/ Sunil Singh) bt. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns
(Sunil Singh dropped a steel chair in the ring when Rollins scared him out of the ring. Elias hit a DDT on Rollins on the steel chair followed with the drift away to get the 3.)

Curt Hawkins is in the ring, and there is a table of Tacos at ringside. He said earlier today that tonight will not be his 200th loss so when he is victorious tonight, everyone in the arena will get a free taco.

2# James Harden bt. Curt Hawkins Via DQ
(Baron Corbin hits Harden with then end of days to cause the DQ. Post-match, Corbin hits Hawkins in the face with a taco and then threw the table of tacos on to him.)

Baron Corbin walks up to Kurt Angle backstage and moans how he is not given any opportunities. Corbin told Angle that he had spoke with Stephanie McMahon directly and wanted to give Angle a message. She says that she has appointed Corbin as Constable of Monday Night Raw and he is her personal representative.

3# Nia Jax bt. Natalya in a non-title match
(Post-match, Ronda Rousey who was on commentary for the match, checked on Natalya who looked hurt. Jax stays in the ring despite Rousey telling her to leave the ring.)

Before the next match, Renee Young interviewed Bobby Roode backstage. She spoke to him about his mindset heading in to his first money in the bank ladder match. He says it will be absolutely glorious when he wins, and says his goal tonight to beat Strowman, is to survive.

4# Braun Strowman bt. Bobby Roode
(During the match, Roode set up a ladder bridge from the ring apron to the barricade to top Strowman. Strowman clubs the ladder and it breaks in half. Strowman then sent Roode in to the barricade before hitting the running powerslam in the ring to get the 3.)

Dasha Fuentes interviews Kevin Owens backstage about what just happened, he says he doesn't care about anyone standing in his way to the money in the bank contract. He said that he will also prove that Finn Balor is nothing more than an Irish myth tonight.

Natalya is backstage with ice on her knee. Nia comes in and apologizes and claims that Natalya is much of a friend to her as Rousey is. Natalya says she know she didn't mean to hurt her before needing a minute to herself.

Renee Young introduces the RAW Tag Team Champions, Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt to the ring. She spoke about how it feels to watch the entire tag team division fight for a shot at their titles. Wyatt says that whoever wins should understand they will not be facing men. They say they will understand what it means to be WOKEN. They finish by saying no matter which team wins tonight, first they will suffer, and then be DELETED.

5# The B-Team won a tag team battle royal to become the #1 contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championship
(Order of elimination - Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre, Titus Worldwide, The Ascension, Breezango, The Revival and Heath Slater & Rhyno)

Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring and challenges Zayn to say what he has to say, to his face. Zayn makes his way out but through the crowd. Zayn continues to mock Lashley, this time from Lashley's inspirational quotes on Instagram. Zayn then claimed he made a fake instagram account and DM'd Lashley which sent him to this paid VIP website. Zayn starts to leave and even accuses him of lying about his military service. This angers Lashley as Zayn leaves completely.

Charly Caruso interviews Jinder Mahal, Mahal claims that Reigns is bitter and feels threatened by him. Renee Young is with Reigns and says he has done nothing around here lately. Mahal challenges Reigns to say it to his face as Reigns makes his way towards the RAW interview area. Reigns finds Mahal, and sends him in to the garage door and getting the better of the modern day Maharajah before officials separate them.

6# Bayley, Sasha Banks & Ember Moon bt. The Riott Squad in a six woman tag team match
(Alexa was originally in the match but feined a knee injury and walked away from the match. Bayley then made her way down and cleaned house before hitting the bayley to belly to get the 3.)

Backstage, Baron Corbin is not happy with just happened and tells Angle to tell them that their win doesn't count. When Bayley, Sasha and Ember are walking backstage, Angle tells them that the Riott Squad won the match by DQ as Bayley wasn't officially in the match.

Big Show is on the stage with some Special Olympic athletes, he tells the crowd to get on their feet for the joy of sport and inclusion.

Next week, It will be Sasha Bank vs. Ember Moon vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya in a Fatal 4-Way and also, Finn Balor vs. Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Roode vs. Kevin Owens in another Fatal 4-Way, and finally Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax will go face-to-face.

7# Finn Balor bt. Kevin Owens Via DQ
(Owens continues to stomp at Balor to cause the DQ. Post-match, Owens hits a frog splash before stting up a ladder in the ring. He climbs in it and looks to Balor to go for a frog splash off the ladder but is afraid of heights. This continues until Balor got to his feet and hit Owens with a coup de grace off the ladder on to Owens before climbing the ladder and holding the briefcase.)

Smackdown Women's Champion Carmella kicks off the show and asks the crowd to shower her with the praise she deserves. She says tonight is not about her but about her opponent at Money in the Bank, Asuka. She shows a video of Asuka's NXT and WWE career. She then says let's remove the mask and face the horrible truth. She shows a video of Charlotte beating Asuka at WrestleMania, and claimed that this lost shattered her and she hasn't been the same since. She claimed the age of Asuka is over.

Asuka makes her way to the ring before Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville make their way down. Mandy says she was a second away from beating Asuka last week, and she knows she can beat Asuka tonight. Sonya then challenges Asuka to a match. Paige makes her way out and asks Asuka if she wants Mandy Rose or Sonya Deville tonight, Asuka responds by saying both of them. Paige then makes a handicap match next.

The Miz is backstage and is interrupted by someone holding a stack of pancakes. The New Day come in and apologize for being jerks recently, they speak of which will compete at Money in the Bank. Big E holds a hat with 3 names inside, they want Miz to pick and blind fold him. They then switch the hat with a hat full of pancake batter and start laughing as Miz puts his hand in the hat.

2# Karl Anderson (w/ Luke Gallows) bt. Harper (w/ Rowan)

Naomi cuts a promo talking about last week and Money in the Bank. Jimmy says he will tell Rusev which husband and wife really run Smackdown Live.

3# Jimmy Uso & Naomi bt. Aiden English & Lana in a Mixed tag team match

Paige is backstage with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura for the contract signing for their Last Man Standing WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank. Styles says that it feels like they have been at this war forever, and comments how he knows why Nakamura does what he does. Because he knows that Nakamura cannot beat him.

Nakamura yawns as Styles signs the contract. Nakamura grabs the pen, looks at it, and throws the pen as he said it is broken. An irate AJ Styles slaps Nakamura and says he has game. When Styles gets escorted out, Nakamura signs and says "Last Man Standing".

4# Becky Lynch bt. Charlotte Flair Via Submission

Backstage, Samoa Joe is interviewed. He asks her what she sees when she sees him. Does she see someone messed up who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He talks about last week’s Smackdown and about how he went up the ladder and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Renee Young introduces Big Cass to the ring. She asks him what he will have to do to beat Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank. Cass spoke about being backstage when Bryan won the WWE Championship and thinking how this pathetic little guy is the WWE Champion. He said that night was a fluke, and when Bryan beat him at Backlash was a fluke also. He said he will do everything at Money in the Bank to beat down Bryan and embarrass him. Cass finishes by saying after Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan will have to look at himself in the mirror and he will be beaten and battered. And he will come to the slow realization that a pathetic little man like him will never survive in this big man’s world.

Sin Cara is backstage and is asked about the attack from Andrade "Cien" Almast last week. Zelina Vega soon interrupts and claims she is the best thing to happen to Andrade and claimed Sin Cara made him weak. Vega says that next week, Paige has made a match where he will take on Andrade. Andrade then attacked Sin Cara from behind.

We see a vignette from Lio Rush who says he is planning the perfect attack and that he is the best cruiserweight in the world. "It's only a matter of time before 205 Live feels the Rush".

Next week, it will be the Lucha House Party vs. Jack Gallagher, Brian Kendrick & Drew Gulak in a six man tag team match.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes asks Buddy Murphy if last week's match will hinder tonight's match against Mustafa Ali. Nese, who was with Murphy, said you would have to be an idiot if you think that would bother Murphy. Murphy then said he is the juggernaut, and you can't stop the unstoppable.

She spoke how last week, she showed the entire locker room that if you step in the ring with her, you'll get smacked in the face with a hard dose of reality. She spoke of how there is always one before Nikki Cross makes her way out. ross grabs the middle rope, stretches it back and forth a few times and then enters. She’s gritting her teeth pretty hard, shaking her head as Baszler calls what Cross did last week a joke. Cross begs Baszler to put her to sleep with a submission. Cross feigns an attack before both women attack each other. The fight ends with Cross launching herself on to Baszler with a crossbody splash from the top.

1# TM61 bt. Michael Hubley & Robbie Grand
(Post-match, TM61 remind everyone of who they have beaten and that they are winners. They claim they'll win against War Raiders, Oney and Danny, and the Undisputed Era, if they are man enough to meet them in the ring. All teams should kneel down and call them "mighty".)

Earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center, we see Lars Sullivan training for NXT Takeover: Chicago.

2# Roderick Strong bt. Danny Burch
(As Danny Burch is gaining momentum in the match, O'Reilly and Cole run down and are met by Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan. Both men brawl as Burch locked in the crossface on Strong in the ring. Cole gets on the apron and distracts Burch. Burch knocks him out but when he turned around, Strong hit the backbreaker for the 3. Post-match, Dunne attacks Strong and applies the abdominal stretch until O'Reilly attacks his left knee with the tag team title belt. Strong hit him with the end of heartbreache.)

Backstage, Kassius Ohno is showing off some new ring gear during a photo shoot. EC3 shows up and asks if the cameraman is trying to breaker the camera. EC3 says that Ohno is not in the top 1 percent. Ohno says Carter is a narcissistic guy who is 1% away from being 99% unconscious. Ohno says what are you waiting for. Let’s do this. I’ll give you a week to prepare. EC3 says he can see it in lights. Challenge accepted.

3# Kairi Sane bt. Lacey Evans

Tommaso Ciampa makes his way to the ring and sits up on the turnbuckle and tells the NXT Universe that they gave up on him long before he gave up on then, He says he doesn't care if the fans listen or chant. He spoke about what Johnny Gargano did a couple weeks ago, and says on June 16th, this Gargano fairytale is coming to an end.

Gargano fights his way to the stage, and past security. Gargano hits a suicide dive on to Ciampa knocking him over the ringside barrier. He pursues Ciampa but falls victim to kicks from him. Security take Ciampa back before Gargano flies from the steps on to Ciampa. The fight moves back in the ring where Ciampa nails Gargano in the back of the head. He applies the Garga-No escape. As Gargano is leaving, Ciampa waves at him which prompts Gargano to run up the ramp and attack Ciampa on the stage. He slams Ciampa's head in to the LED boards which busts him open. Gargano applies his submission to end the show.

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring and begins to talk about the show before he is interrupted by Baron Corbin. Corbin mentions Stephanie will be disappointed if the contracts don't come to RAW. Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon and Natalya all goes back and forth, likewise Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Bobby Roode. Strowman finishes by saying this sunday, someone will get these hands.

Finn Balor is backstage putting his boots on when Kevin Owens approaches and offers him some olives. He proposes they take out Strowman early in the match.

(Post-match, Ziggler and McIntyre comment how losing the tag team battle royal last week is behind them. They then send a warning to the tag team division that this is their future and they are here to save the division by taking the teams out.)

We see a tweet from Paul Heyman pointing out that today is Brock Lesnar's 435th day as WWE Universal Champion, making him the longest-reigning modern day world champion.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring for his match against Jinder Mahal. Mahal told Reigns that he didn't say Reigns would face him when he challenged him for tonight. Mahal built it up before saying that Reigns would be facing, Sunil Singh.

(Post-match, Mahal attacked Reigns from behind and hit the Khallas.)

4# The B-Team bt. Heath Slater & Rhyno
(Post-match, The B-Team celebrate before the Deleters of worlds cut in. Matt Hardy mentions the jovial jamboree these two mendacious monkeys are partaking in is wonderful and deserves a standing ovation. Wyatt and Hardy then make their way to the stage and sent word to the B-Team that they bought their ticket and now will have to take the ride. Hardy said they will eat and delete them.)

Elias is in the ring and says this is the finest moment for this crowd as they are seeing him in this final moments before becoming the Intercontinental Champion. Elias completes his song and brought out a guitar given to him by John Mayer and it has the Intercontinental title painted on it. Seth Rollins furiously charges towards the ring, and manages to knock Elias out of the ring. Rollins spoke of Elias blindsiding him two weeks ago and if he wanted a fight, all he had to do was ask. Moments later, Rollins hit a stomp on the guitar before parading around the ring with Elias' broken guitar.

Backstage, Bobby Roode is admiring himself when he is approached by Kevin Owens, who says that they should all work together tonight.

5# Ruby Riott (w/ The Riott Squad) bt. Bayley
(Post-match, the Riott Squad hold Bayley as Ruby Riott takes some black lipstick and marks up Bayley's face followed by painting an "R" on her stomach.)

Jonathan Coachman is in the ring and introduces "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax to the ring for a face-to-face. Nia spoke about things you can't do in UFC but can in the WWE and spoke of how Rousey is still new to the WWE. Rousey spoke of how she improvises and then spoke of all the people who told her she wouldn't do what she accomplished after Nia said she wasn't ready. Ronda yells "I am Ronda Rousey, and i was born ready". They go face-to-face. Nia goes to hit her, but Rousey blocks it. Nia then head-butts her down. Nia teases her for a few before Rousey goes for an arm bar. Nia tries to fight it, but Rousey keeps trying and gets Nia to tap out. Rousey then walks off smiling.

6# No Way Jose bt. Curt Hawkins
(Hawkins' entrance music played twice and he didn't show. The referee rang the bell to begin for a count-out when Hawkins, dressed as one of Jose's dancers, rolls him up for a near fall only to be hit with a knockout punch as his losing streak hit 0-201.)

Finn Balor and Bobby Roode are talking backstage on whether to trust Owens or not, Balor said he will have his eyes on both.

Renee Young introduces Sami Zayn as an obstacle course has been set up around the ring. When questioned on why this has been set up, Zayn said he if he can beat him in an obstacle course then he will believe the legitimacy that Lashley was really in the army. They'll do a tire flip, a low crawl, a wall vault, monkey bars (or horizontal ladder), and a rope climb.

Bobby Lashley made his way out and then finishes the course in 43 seconds. Zayn then attacks him from behind and hit a Helluva Kick as Zayn gets pulled away by officials.

Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode, and Finn Balor are talking backstage. Braun Strowman comes up to them and suggests they all team up on him. Strowman laughs and then scares them with a scream before walking off.

All 4 women speak of their accolades before The IIconics interrupt. They mock Becky Lynch and Charlotte, before Naomi and they mocked hers and Lanas dancing last week. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out and say that the challenge on the outside of the ring is far superior than the talent inside the ring. A brawl then breaks out between all 8 women.

1# Daniel Bryan bt. Shelton Benjamin Via Submission

Backstage, Paige is with Asuka who wants Carmella tonight. Paige then makes a 10-Woman tag team match - Naomi, Lana, Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Asuka vs. The IIconics, Carmella, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The Miz is then seen wearing a referee shirt and he tells Paige he is preparing for movie season. She makes him the special guest referee in the match between Samoa Joe and Rusev tonight.

Jerry "The King" Lawler is introduced to the Crowd. Lawler conducts an interview with AJ Styles who spoke about facing Shinsuke Nakamura this Sunday for the WWE Championship.

2# Rusev (w/ Aiden English) bt. Samoa Joe
(Joe had the match won but Miz refused to make the count after Joe hit Miz by accident after going for English. Joe goes to attack Miz when Rusev hit the Machka kick and got the 3. Post-match, Aiden English threw a ladder in the ring and Rusev hit Joe with it. He went to climb it but Miz hit the skullcrushing finale before climbing the ladder and grabbing the briefcase. Miz celebrates with it and opens it on the announce table but it is full of pancakes, as the New Day are seen backstage laughing at Miz.)

3# Jeff Hardy bt. Shinsuke Nakamura Via DQ in a non-title match
(Hardy went for a twist of fate when Nakamura hit the United States Champon with a low blow. Nakamura then delivers a kick to the face before counting to 10.)

Renee Young is backstage with Carmella, she is asked if she is concerned. Carmella says that Charlotte beat Asuka and she beat Charlotte Flair twice. She is better than them both and she isn’t concerned. She says Mella is Money.

Renee Young is backstage with Big Cass, he takes the microphone and spoke of a story about showing up at the Memphis fair. He took a souvenir and stood next to a height requirement which goes up to 7 feet. He spoke how Bryan doesn't meet the height requirement for the ride. He says a good big man will always beat a good little man and that's what will happen this sunday.

Drake mentions how Ali has asked for the same thing, and neither are getting it as emotions are too high. He then told Murphy to come to your boss with a request, not an ultimatum.

We see a selfie promo from Mustafa Ali who spoke of a setback last week, but he will get right back up tonight and says he hopes that Murphy and Itami are watching.

2# Akira Tozawa bt. Steve Irby

We see another vignette hyping the debut of Lio Rush, he says he feels disrespected how the WWE had two cruiserweight tournaments without the best cruiserweight in the world.

We hear from Tony Nese ahead of his match with Mustafa Ali tonight. We then see a video promo from TJP and spoke of not being on the show. He says when he goes heavyweight, Drake Maverick is going to remember him as the man who carried the division on his back, but the one that got away.

(Post-match, the Undisputed Era attack Pete Dunne until Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan make the save. Cole and Dunne brawl on the outside as Burch and Lorcan take care of the NXT Tag Team Champions.)

Aleister Black makes his way to the ring and says that Lars Sullivan will soon realize nothing Sullivan does is too powerful and he will fade to black. This prompts Sullivan to make his way out. He hits 3 freak accidents on the NXT Champion before Black is lain on the announce table as Sullivan stands tall over him holding the NXT Championship belt.

New Day blow off the idea from Owens but invites him to have some pancakes, Owens declines and says he doesn't like them. The New Day flips and kicks him out.

Before the next match, Elias is in the ring with the guitar and insults the crowd before refusing to play as he says Chicago isn't worth it.

(During the match, Sunil, who came out in a wheelchair tries to send Reigns in to the ring post but Reigns stops him and viciously speared him after superman punching him and sending him flying back in the wheel chair.)

(During the match, a person dressed as Asuka gets on the ring apron and it is revealed to be James Ellsworth. Carmella hits a distracted Asuka with a princess kick to get the 3.)

(Rousey had Nia ready for the arm bar when she was hit from behind by Alexa Bliss with the briefcase. She hit both women with it, and sent Rousey shoulder first in to the ring post. She hit Nia twice more before cashing in her money in the bank contract.)

Angle presents her with the RAW Women's Championship and informs her that Nia has demanded her rematch clause against her at Extreme Rules. Bliss is stunned as he hasn't let her talk about last night. She called both Nia and Rousey bullies and now there will be no more talk about them, it will be all about her, the Goddess.

Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring, Bliss continues to provoke Rousey by saying what she did last night was perfectly legal and Rousey can't stand how the headlines last night were not about her. Rousey takes down Bliss with Angle trying to pull them apart, he got a judo toss from Rousey. Rousey beats Bliss down with the briefcase and then powerbombs her through a table after she hits Angle a number of times with the briefcase trying to stop it.

Backstage. Rousey is yelling at Angle before he suspends her for 30 days and apologies. Rousey sarcastically says he sounds real sorry before she walks off. Moments later, Renee Young wants a word when she wishes good luck to Alexa as after 30 days, she is coming back to whip her pink-haired ass.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and wants the energy and buzz to continue, so he proposes an open challenge for the Intercontinental title. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre make their way out and it's motioned that it will be Ziggler who will answer the challenge.

1# Dolph Ziggler (w/ Drew McIntyre) bt. Seth Rollins to become the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion
(During the match, McIntyre gets on the apron but is attacked from Rollins for his efforts. Ziggler rolls him up but nearly hits McIntyre when he kicks out. Rollins rolls him up then Ziggler rolls through and gets the 3. Post-match, both men attack Rollins and hit the combination of the Zig-Zag/Claymore.)

Renee Young is backstage with Ziggler and he says that Monday Night Rollins in cancelled and there is no reboot coming. McIntyre says they told everyone this is just the beginning and the first of many titles to come.

2# Bobby Roode bt. Curt Hawkins

Braun Strowman makes his way to the ring and spoke how winning the Money in the Bank was the greatest. He says that now all Brock Lesnar has to do is show his face, and he will cash this contract in and become the new Universal Champion, he finishes by saying the beast is going to get these hands.

Kevin Owens comes down and walks to the stage gingerly. Owens congratulates Strowman and spoke of Strowman needing to have a strategy now he is money in the bank. He mentions how they they can help or use each other and proposes when Strowman cashes in the contract then Owens can get a match for the Universal title. He said they can start tonight: monster and man. Owens extends his hand to Strowman, Strowman pulls Owens in and tries for a running powerslam but he escapes the ring.

Bayley is in the locker room with Sasha Banks, she tells her she is sorry she lost. Bayley says she gets why Banks is dwelling on the loss but is ready to take on the Riott Squad with Banks after what happened to her last week. They shake hands and say it could be a new start for the two of them.

Before the next match, The B-Team appear on-screen and imitate Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. They say that they are coming after the tag team titles.

3# Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt bt. Heath Slater & Rhyno in a non-title match

Backstage, Angle is on the phone when Corbin tells him that Stephanie is proud of how he handled it. He said that he didn't do it for her but Corbin already has stephanie on the phone. After the commercial, he said what she told him was big news and will make an announcement later tonight. Angle promises to run everything by Constable Corbin, who is laughing.

Before the next match, Mahal spoke about how he felt the winds of change and last night Reigns may have won the match, he won the battle of self-improvement. Mahal said he had found tranquility and stays commited to change. He then tells Gable to forget the past and the darkness.

(Post-match, Bayley tries to help Sasha up but gets pushed away. Banks gets in her face before shoving her down and walking off.)

Sasha Banks is angrily walking backstage when Bayley approaches her. Bayley tries to talk, but Banks blows her off. They then start fighting before Banks takes her down and walks off.

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring and is about to announce who Brock Lesnar will next defend his WWE Universal Championship against when Roman Reigns interrupts to claim it is him. Bobby Lashley makes his way down and says he has been trying to get his hands on Lesnar since Reigns was a "little pup". Angle says they are both deserving but so are others. He says the one who faces Lesnar is the one who wins the multi-person match at Extreme Rules. Angle says he will announce the competitors later but Reigns and Lashley are in it.

The Revival make their way out and spoke of how these so-called top guys are always standing in their way, but that changes tonight. They challenge Reigns and Lashley to a match right now. Angle books the match.

6# Bobby Lashley & Roman Reigns bt. The Revival

Kurt Angle is walking backstage with Constable Corbin. Finn Balor says he will do whatever it takes to be in the main event at Extreme Rules. Corbin laughs at Balor for wanting the opportunity after only having the title for 24 hours. Owens approaches and says Balor doesn't deserve a shot. Strowman comes up and says he is here to protect his friend Balor, Strowman says if Corbin and Owens wants to fight in the ring, they'll do it. Angle says this show is a runaway train and walks off.

We see a video package where it is announced that AJ Styles will be on the cover of WWE 2K19.

7# Mojo Rawley bt. No Way Jose
(Post-match, Charly Caruso interviews Rawley and asks if he hopes this win will lead to more success. Rawley spoke of how competitive the WWE is and how he needs to bring more to the table, and being focussed and not hyped.)

Sasha Banks is walking backstage and looks furious. Bayley approaches her and says that she is not done with her. Banks says she is done with Bayley and done being her friend as she gets in a car and drives off.

Elias is in the ring, and begins to strum his guitar whilst speaking of Rollins cheating to win at Money in the Bank, but got what he deserved when he lost the title earlier tonight. He then sings about how Lesnar is looking for a fight before continuing to sing.

Renee Young is backstage with Seth Rollins. Rollins spoke of how there is no excuses and McIntyre is a problem he will solve but next week, he is invoking his rematch clause.

Carmella makes her way to the ring, and feins a heartfelt promo about working hard to get to the top only to say she has been moon walking and trash talking since she was in diapers. She says the real lesson is just give up because you can work twice as hard as her and you'll still only be half as good. She talks about winning the Money in the Bank contract, became champion, beat Charlotte Flair twice and beat Carmella this past Sunday - and claims she did it all herself.

Asuka's music hit and someone dressed as Asuka comes to the ring and again revealed to be James Ellsworth. He then grabbed the mic and say no one was ready for Ellsworth, especially not Asuka. He says he is back to serve the greatest woman in history. Asuka's music hits and she makes her way to the ring, kicks Ellsworth in the stomach before Carmella superkicks her down.

Before the next match, the IIconics make their way down and spoke of Toledo having a smelly zoo and then makes fun of Becky Lynch.

It was set to be The Usos vs. SAnitY but SAnitY attacked them from behind before standing on top of them gloating.

Nakamura is backstage with Renee Young, he claimed the referee counted fast and not in Japanese as to why Styles is still WWE Champion. He says that if Jeff Hardy crosses him again, he will close his eyes.

RAW opens with Kurt Angle in the ring with Constable Baron Corbin. Angle spoke at length about what Paul Heyman said on Facebook about Brock Lesnar's status for his next championship fight. Angle was about to guarantee something before Roman Reigns interrupted and came to the ring. Angle was about to talk about the post on Facebook, which mentioned how Lesnar was done with Reigns before Bobby Lashley interrupted. Reigns and Lashley go back and forth, with Reigns spoke about Lashley "moving on". Reigns spoke about Lashley not making a big impact in MMA and has done nothing since.

Angle then mentioned that there will not be a multi-man match at Extreme Rules as there was a snag in the contractual agreement and Lesnar pulled out of the deal. Lashley commented how Lesnar would be more inclined to show up if he had someone legit to face and not have to look across the ring at Reigns everytime. Reigns challenged Lashley to a match, right here, right now. Angle takes under advisement regarding a match at Extreme Rules.

The Revival make their way out and challenge Reigns and Lashley to another match. Corbin makes it official.

The Authors of Pain were walking backstage and shove a stagehand. Titus Worldwide walks up to them and tells them to show respect. They tell them thanks for the advice, but no thanks.

Bayley is backstage and welcomes Alicia Fix back. Angle informs Bayley she will be teaming with Sasha Banks tonight and Ember Moon to face the Riott Squad.

(Post-match, AOP continue their beatdown until Titus Worldwide make their way to the ring as AOP backs off quickly.)

Angle is backstage with Constable Corbin and they speak about tag teams imploding. Finn Balor walks in and wants to know why Lesnar had the multi-man match cancelled. Corbin said he would come up short, like he did last week. Balor responded by asking if the manager at TGI Friday's knew Corbin stole his uniform. Strowman approaches and said he felt bad for destroying Owens last week after he tried to befriend him and said he wanted to be Owens partner, and suggested Corbin and Balor to be his partners.

Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring alongside Mickie James. Bliss spoke of Rousey and her money in the bank cash in. She also referred to Rousey as being the most spoiled, entitled woman on the planet. She said whilst Rousey is gone and Nia is rehabbing, she is here as the RAW Women's Champion. She spoke of Nia before Natalya interrupted. Natalya pointed out it is only 23 days until Rousey is back to deal with her. Bliss mocks Natalya. Bliss dismisses her but is informed by Natalya that she spoke to Angle and they have a match right now but hasn't come alone, as Nia Jax makes her way out.

4# Natalya (w/ Nia Jax) bt. Alexa Bliss (w/Mickie James) Via Submission
(Nia sweeps Bliss' feet for revenge . Natalya hits the discuss clothesline and then applied the sharpshooter for the win.)

Charly Caruso is backstage with Seth Rollins regarding his Intercontinental title rematch tonight. He says he has had 7 days to let the loss drive him and tonight, the Seth Rollins Ziggler will see is nothing like he's ever seen.

Also backstage, Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh are having their pictures taken when the Riott Squad walk up, take some pictures with the camera and smash the camera. Mahal calms them down with some namaste stuff.

5# The Riott Squad bt. Sasha Banks, Ember Moon & Bayley in a Six-Woman tag team match
(Post-match, Bayley attacks Sasha and stomps away at her. She then grabbed her out of the ring and slammed her on the floor before whipping her in to the ring steps twice.)

Kevin Owens walks in to Kurt Angle's office and questions why Angle is letting Strowman team with him tonight. Angle says this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

It was set to be Mojo Rawley vs. No Way Jose but Rawley said he is embarrassed to be out here with No Way Jose's conga line. He spoke of earning the right to walk down the ramp and enter a ring and Jose hasnt earned that right. Rawley approached someone in a cheeseburger costume from the conga line. Once he has mocked "Todd" he refuses a rematch with Jose. When he approaches Rawley, Rawley drops him with a right hand.

Bayley walks in to Angle's office, Angle tells her she doesn't care about RAW or the women's revolution. He said she is going to counselling next week or she is fired.

6# Braun Strowman & Kevin Owens bt. Constable Baron Corbin & Finn Balor Via count-out
(Corbin tags himself in to the match but Balor kicked him. Corbin pulled Balor out of the ring and both men fight up the rampway to get counted out. Post-match, Owens extends a hand to Strowman but bailed the ring when Strowman looked at him.)

Strowman continued to chase Owens backstage, Owens quickly demands his keys from the valet guy only for Strowman to have his keys. When Owens see's his car, it is flipped on the roof as Strowman walks off laughing.

7# Seth Rollins bt. Dolph Ziggler (w/ Drew McIntyre) Via DQ in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match
(During the match, McIntyre is ejected from ringside but returns and pulls the referee out of the ring when it looks as Rollins has the match won. He punches and stomps at Rollins to cause the DQ. Post-match, Roman Reigns makes the save of a 2-on-1 beatdown by spearing Ziggler on the floor and knocks McIntyre out of the ring.)

The Miz starts sucking up to Harper and Rowan when they knock the microphone out of his hand.

Daniel Bryan makes his way out, and tells the Bludgeon Brothers he isn't afraid of them after they cost him a shot at the WWE Championship last week. He says which one of them will fight first as Harper grabs the microphone and says he never learns, but will tonight.

1# Rusev (w/ Aiden English) bt. Xavier Woods (w/ The New Day) Via Submission
(Post-match, Rusev grabs a microphone and says tonight is about AJ Styles and he knows he is scared. He sends a message to the WWE Champion that he is coming for him and take the title, and it is going to be a great Rusev Day.)

Jeff Hardy is backstage and cuts a promo, he says he is ready to take flight and fight.

Backstage, Lana and Naomi are talking about their dance off when the cast of GLOW walk in. They tell Naomi and Lana that they should work together. Naomi tells Lana she knows how to dance and maybe they can be ravishing together. And then everyone will feel the glow.

James Ellsworth makes his way to the ring, and spoke of Asuka interrupting Carmella's celebration last week. He says it is a mans world and if she messes with the bull, she gets the horn before saying he loves and respects women. He says he has no love or respect for Asuka, and says he is ready for Asuka this week.

Paige makes her way to the ring and informs us that Ellsworth knows Asuka is not here this week. Paige announces Carmella will be defending her Smackdown Women's Championship at Extreme Rules against Asuka. Ellsworth then insinuates that she is also out here to ask him out on a date. She says yes, for next Tuesday but it is no so much a date as it is a match, against Asuka.

5# Daniel Bryan bt. Harper (w/ Rowan) Vua DQ
(Bryan applies the Yes lock on to Harper when Rowan attacks Bryan to cause the DQ. Both men start beating on Bryan until Kane makes his way to the ring and start attacking both men. They fight back by Bryan hits a double drop kick and takes both men down. Rowan is knocked the outside and Kane hits Harper with a chokeslam. Kane and Bryan then hug before Paige announces that at Extreme Rules it will be The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Team Hell No for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship).

Cedric Alexander is backstage and is asked about challenging Hideo Itami. Itami approaches and says something to Cedric and pushes him. They push each other before officials hold them back.

Next week, it will be Mustafa Ali vs. Buddy Murphy in a No DQ match.
