The NXT Champion Aleister Black opens NXT and spoke of dealing with adversity, with Lars Sullivan being that adversity at Takeover. He said he made it fade to black before Tommaso Ciamp makes his way out and said it is time you stand face-to-face with the devil. He said that the title makes Black, and now he wants the title. Ciampa spoke how Black's title reign will fade to black as Ciampa sits cross-legged on the stage. Black doesn't like the mocking and stares down Ciampa as he walks away waving.

We see Vanessa Borne with reporters earlier today and questions why Kairi Sane dresses up as a pirate, and says people should be adoring her as she should be on all the posters and t-shirts.

Backstage, Johnny Gargano was watching his wife's match and is asked about recovering. He spoke about replaying Ciampa rip the wedding ring from his finger, spit on it and throwing it in to the crowd. He said he shouldn't win, he doesn't get to win. He is going to make sure they do this thing one more time, he doesn't care where it happens or when. This ends when he does.

Earlier today, we see Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight barbecuing and they said no more games.

We see a tweet from NXT GM William Regal, he said Gargano needs to move on from Ciampa, so he'll be facing EC3 next week.

Cathy Kelley interviews Candice LeRae, she said she made the mistake of letting what was going on with Gargano distract her from her own career and future. She says his motivation has inspired her to chase after the NXT Women's Championship.

It was set to be Moustace Mountain vs. David Dixon & Carl Axelrod, but as Dixon & Axelrod get to the stage, they are attacked from behind by Undisputed Era. O'Reilly grabbed a mic and said their victory was a fluke, and they are going to make sure they get on a plane home without the tag team titles. Ricochet makes his way to the ring and evens the numbers.

Roman Reigns kicks off Monday Night Raw and spoke of losing to the Revival last week. He says he wants to fight "Bob" and not team with him. He says "Bob" wasn't the guy 10 years ago because he couldn't handle the role, and 10 years from now he still won't be the guy as he is the guy. He says he is the big dog who runs this yard.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre come out, and spoke of the irony of Reigns calling someone else an egomanic when he makes everything about him. They are here to return the favour after Reigns stuck his nose their affairs last week when he saved Rollins. Ziggler and McIntyre took Reigns down until Rollins made the save as Dolph and Drew rolled out of the ring.

Reigns and Rollins are walking around backstage and they bump in to Angle. They want Ziggler and McIntyre, Angle said he will schedule it for next week as Reigns already has a match tonight. Reigns wants it tonight, and Angle books it.

The B-Team come on-screen before the next match and mock Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. They say Matt has to face the ferocious B-Team by himself tonight before Dallas starts singing "he's got the whole world in his hands".

Backstage, Reigns and Rollins are talking when Lashley walks in. Lashley calls him a trouble starter and tells him to check his ego at the door and focus on tonight. Reigns said he will start and finish the match. ll he has to do is stand on the apron and flash that fake smile. Lashley says he has to focus or he will hold him responsible. Roman asks if that’s a threat. Lashley says yet it is and walks away.

We see the first clip of Bayley and Sasha Banks at counselling with Dr. Shelby.

2# Authors of Pain bt. Titus Worldwide (w/ Dana Brooke)

Kevin Owens arrives to the building and refuses to give his keys to the valet.

3# Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins bt. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre Via DQ
(The Revival attack Reigns to cause the DQ, as all 4 men beat on Reigns and Rollins.)

Kevin Owens is backstage with Kurt Angle, Owens tells Kurt he has to do somethng about Strowman. Angle told Owens he will face Strowman tonight.

We see another clip from Bayley and Sasha Banks from counselling.

Constable Baron Corbin is in the ring and spoke of Finn Balor's behaviour being inappropriate and unprofessional last week. He brought Balor to the ring for him to offer Corbin an apology. Balor made a tongue-in-cheek apology about the comment he made about Corbin's vest last week. Corbin commented how he pinned Balor 2 weeks ago and gave him another chance to say sorry. Balor insulted Corbins hair cut and then told him that he stopped deserving anyone's respect the day he became Stephanie McMahon's stooge. Corbin hits him with a right hand, but Balor hit the swing blade and Corbin leaves the ring.

Elias is playing the guitar backstage when Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan come in. He tells them he will play for them but not for the fans. Logan and Morgan start destroying things.

4# Ember Moon bt. Liv Morgan (w/ Sarah Logan)

Another clip of the therapy session airs, Sasha says it is not working as both women start arguing until Dr. Shelby yells enough. A "to be continued" appears.

5# Roman Reigns & Bobby Lashley bt. The Revival Via DQ
(Reigns refuses to tag in Lashley, Revival then double-team Reigns to cause the DQ. Post-match, Lashley walks away from the ring as the beatdown on Reigns continued.)

Backstage, Roman is talking to Kurt Angle. Angle says the match is set. He wants the same exact thing as him. Roman says at Extreme Rules, he will lay him out.

It was set to be No Way Jose vs. Mojo Rawley, but instead Rawley grabs a microphone and berates how Jose dances and doesn't deserve a rematch. Jose goes to attack Rawley but Rawley ducks and hits him. He starts attacking members of the conga line. Both men fight outside but Rawley threw Jose on the ring apron before leaving.

We see the interview with Renee Young and Ronda Rousey from WWE.COM. Ronda says that she is suspended from RAW but not from Extreme Rules. She says she will buy a front row ticket for the event.

Before the next match, Nia spoke how she was wrong in thinking Alexa was behind her forever after Backlash. She informed everyone that Angle told her backstage that her match at Extreme Rules will now be an Extreme Rules match. Nia brings out Natalya as backup.

6# Nia Jax (w/ Natalya) bt. Mickie james (w/ Alexa Bliss)
(Alexa distracts the referee before Natalya takes her down. Jax hit the Samoa drop to get the 3.)

Backstage, Kevin Owens is with Jinder Mahal who tries to get him to breathe in and out. They are interrupted by Charly Caruso who spoke of facing Strowman tonight. He says tonight he will get in the ring and show the world how you destroy a monster.

Backstage, Renee Young is with Bobby Lashley. He says Roman called him an ego maniac but he was the one who told him to stay away from their match. As for Extreme Rules, he can’t wait for it.

7# Braun Strowman bt. Kevin Owens via count-out
(As soon as the match starts and Strowman pushes Owens down, he rolls outside of the ring and runs to the back to get counted out.)

Strowman runs to the back to find Owens, Owens tries to get in his car but it is locked so he hides in a portable bathroom outside. Strowman is on the look out before sniffing and looks at the portable toilet. He changes his voice to ask if anyone is in there. Strowman proceeed to use duct tape around the toiley and dragged it in to the arena before pushing it off the stage on to the ground.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE

ANNOUNCERS - COREY GRAVES, TOM PHILLIPS & BYRON SAXTON

The show opens with Renee Young in the ring as she introduces Team Hell No to the ring. They speak of the complicated relationship they have had in the past. When asked why he returned, Kane said Daniel has a bit of a temper but he "always has a demon watching over him".

Bryan points out the last time they were in the ring together they were opponents as Kane tried to end his career by tombstoning him on the floor, on the ring steps and even tried to abduct his wife. They disagree about him having his back before the Usos make their way out, and question why they are getting title shots so quickly.

Paige makes her way out and makes Team Hell No vs. The Usos for tonight and if The Usos win, they will be added to the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at Extreme Rules.

1# Jeff Hardy bt. The Miz to retain the WWE United States Championship

Backstage, James Ellsworth spoke about men being the superior specimen.

Byron Saxton is in the ring and introduces the New Day to the ring for the first annual 3rd of July Pancake Eating Contest. They start eating pancakes to beat the record when SAnitY make their way out and start beating down the New Day. Young launches the face of Woods in to the leg of a table. Dain tosses Big E into the steel steps. Dain then throws Big E over the announce table at ringside. Wolfe sends Kingston into Dain who charges with a cross body on the floor. Back inside, Young is holding Woods back in the corner as Wolfe and Dain setup the table. They put Woods on top of the table, Young goes up top and connects with a flying elbow crashing through the table over Woods!

2# Asuka vs. James Ellsworth (w/ Carmella) ended in a Double Count-out
(Asuka chases Ellsworth through the audience and to the backstage area as both got counted out. Post-match, Asuka chases Ellsworth back and got a cheap shot from Carmella.)

Backstage, Daniel Bryan tells Kane that he needs him to apologize before they team and reads out the bad things Kane did in past years. Kane apologizes.

Before his match, AJ Styles spoke about defending the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules against a match who is bigger and stronger than he is, "but what else is new". Rusev interrupts and said at Extreme Rules, he's taking the WWE Championship and moving in to the house that AJ Styles built.

3# AJ Styles bt. Aiden English (w/ Rusev) Via Submission in a non-title match
(Post-match, Rusev tosses Styles face-first in to the ring post before a big kick to the head. He throws the WWE Champion in the ring, and applies the accolade.)

Backstage, Paige makes James Ellsworth vs. Asuka next week and makes it a Lumberjack match with the Smackdown Women's Division surrounding the ring.

4# Becky Lynch bt. Peyton Royce (w/ Billie Kay) Via Submission

Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura spoke about taking Jeff Hardy's title at Extreme Rules.

5# Team Hell No bt. The Usos
(Due to pre-match stipulations, if the Usos would have won, they would have been added to the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at Extreme Rules. Post-match, The Bludgeon Brothers walk out and stare down Daniel Bryan and Kane.)

As TJP makes his way to the ring, he has a microphone and bemoans that he isn't in the main event, it isn't for the Cruiserweight title and he is in the middle of nowhere. He said he will take the bait and give his incompetent General manager a chance, maybe he will find an opponent worthy of his talent. Out comes the returning Noam Dar.

1# Noam Dar bt. TJP

Buddy Murphy is backstage getting ready for his match and claimed he would be champion if it wasn't for Mustafa Ali. He spoke about there being no rules to stop him from putting Mustafa in the hospital tonight, and says it doesn't matter who wins the title match next week, he will be waiting.

TJP is leaving the arena and is asked about what happened but he says nothing before he leaves.

2# Akira Tozawa bt. Jason Strife
(Post-match, Lio Rush, who came to the ring to watch the match tells Tozawa that he was incredible and he is a fan. He questions what Tozawa has done since winning the Cruiserweight title and says he does not wait for anything. He tells Tozawa that when he is done waiting for opportunities, step in to the ring with the man of the hour. He tells Tozawa to feel the rush.

Backstage, Mustafa Ali spoke about his No DQ match with Buddy Murphy tonight.

We hear from Cedric Alexander who spoke of Hideo Itami walking around like he is entitled to something because of his past. He said that next week, it is Hideo's legacy against Alexander's legend.

Earlier today, we see Heavy Machinery in the WWE Performance Center. They are working out before Dozovic wanders through the weights room. Suddenly you hear someone in pain, when Dozovic goes back, we see Knight on the ground in pain.

Shayna Baszler makes her way to the ring and spoke of defeating Nikki Cross at Takeover. She spoke of how none of the division can beat her and claims the reason they are having a second Mae Young Classic is to find a new opponent for her. She says the answer will be the same every time people ask who will beat her. Baszler will put them all to sleep.

Cathy Kelly interviews Danny Burch about Oney Lorcan's injury, he said that Lorcan is looking at a 3 month recovery. The Undisputed Era walk in and Strong pokes fun at Burch. They spoke of invoking their rematch clause against Mustache Mountain next week. Burch reminds them they are not the tag champs and moments later asks Cole for a title shot. Cole laughs and flippantly agrees.

We see a video package for the War Raiders.

It was announced that in 3 weeks, it will be Aleister Black vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship.

2# The Mighty bt. Otis Dozovic in a 2-on-1 Handicap match

We hear from Bianca Belair from earlier this week on her Honeymoon. She spoke about Sane and LeRae and reminded us that she is undefeated.

Kairi Sane is approached by reporters earlier today regarding Vanessa Borne's comments last week. She said she will gladly take the match against Borne, and then focus on taking the NXT Women's Championship. The match will take place next week.

3# The Velveteen Dream bt. Chris Dijak
(Post-match, EC3's music hits as Dream is still lounging in the ring. Dream is none to pleased about it as he lingers around ringside as EC3 poses.)

Moments ago, Moustache Mountain are asked about what the Undisputed said earlier. Seven says they will prove that them winning the titles was not a fluke.

Monday Night RAW opens with a video showcasing Roman Reigns talking how he is the uncrowned WWE Universal Champion. He says how he has never lost faith in himself, Bobby Lashley begs to differ but they will fight at Extreme Rules to determine who is the best.

Roman Reigns is walking backstage towards the ring, Bobby Lashley walks in to him and suggests that he calls him out because he won't be coming to talk. Once Reigns made his way to the ring, he calls out Lashley. Both men stare each other out before RAW GM Kurt Angle and Constable Corbin make their way out. Angle suggests they save it until Sunday but they trade blows as the RAW locker room come out in attempt to separate them. They break apart from being separated multiple times until Reigns hit a diving plancha over the ropes on the RAW roster and Lashley. As he leaves, he made one more attack on Lashley before leaving ringside.

1# Nia Jax & Natalya bt. Mickie James & Alexa Bliss
(Post-match, Bliss immediately hit Nia in the back with the kendo stick and then did the same to Natalya. Bliss repeatedly hit Nia with the kendo stick before she took it away and broke the kendo stick over her legs as Bliss and James left the ringside area.)

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Nia Jax about the attack from Alexa Bliss. She said she will break bliss like the Kendo stick, and hasn't forgotten about what Bliss has done to her. She says she will pay her back inch by crushing inch before taking back her RAW Women's Championship

Kevin Owens walks in to Kurt Angle's office with a doctor's note saying he is not medically cleared to compete. He then says he is going to hang out in the one place he knows he is safe from Strowman - Angle's office.

2# Mojo Rawley bt. No Way Jose

We see Sasha Banks and Bayley in therapy with a new therapist. Bayley says she’s tired of being taken advantage of. Banks only cares about herself. Banks never looks at her.

Seth Rollins is walking backstage when he is stopped by Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh. Mahal spoke of embracing life rather than burning it down. Mahal sarcastically asks for Mahal's help only to leave.

Seth Rollins then makes his way to the ring and spoke of the 30-minute Ironman match against Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental title this sunday. He spoke of the problem being Drew McIntyre before Ziggler made his way out with McIntyre by his side. Both men go back and forth with words, Rollins made a comment to McIntyre to why he gets ordered around by little Ziggler, infering he must know McIntyre's secrets. Rollins makes a joke about Scotland and sheep before McIntyre challenges him for a match tonight. Rollins accepts before McIntyre charges but Rollins escapes the ring.

Before the match, the B-Team are dressed as Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. They are interrupted when the Deleters of Worlds appears on screen and tells the B-Team they will eat and delete them at Extreme Rules. They then make their way to the ring.

3# Bo Dallas (w/ Curtis Axel) bt. "Woken" Matt Hardy (w/ Bray Wyatt)
(Curtis Axel distracts Hardy which led Wyatt to take him out. Dallas hit a twisting neckbreaker from the top rope to get the 3. Post-match, the B-Team celebrate until the lights go out. When they come back on, the B-Team are attacked.)

Renee Young interviews Bobby Lashley backstage and says he has no respect for Roman Reigns. He says after Extreme Rules, Reigns won't be walking.

We see Sasha Banks and Bayley once again talking in therapy.

Alexa Bliss is shown on a handheld promo, she said she enjoyed the sound of the kendo stick hitting Nia Jax. After Sunday, she'll be the Extreme RAW Women's Champion.

4# Ember Moon bt. Liv Morgan (w/ Sarah Logan)

Renee Young interviewed Finn Balor regarding Constable Corbin. Bobby Rood interrupted and said he and his tag team partner are unstoppable in the ring. Balor said they will do their talking in the ring tonight.

Kevin Owens is spraying cologne in Kurt Angle's office. Angle makes a joke how it must be left over from the toilet incident last week. Ziggler and McIntyre walk in. Angle says if McIntyre loses tonight, then he is banned from ringside this Sunday.

Elias is in the ring and spoke of how he has been in a studio recording his album as the reason he has not performed in the last two weeks. Elias sings about Roode and Balor having the personality of a toilet seat. He says he can't stand Boston and made references to Tom Brady. Corbin comes down and singles a song about the "Itsy Bitsy Balor".

5# Constable Baron Corbin & Elias bt. Bobby Roode & Finn Balor

Braun Strowman enters Kurt Angle's office, Owens says he won't be fighting him tonight. Angle says they will fight this Sunday in a steel cage match.

Renee Young is backstage with Roman Reigns, she asked if it was reckless to provoke Lashley a week before Extreme Rules. He said Lashley will need more than what he brought tonight. He said he will beat Lashley and move onto bigger and better things.

6# Drew McIntyre (w/ Dolph Ziggler) bt. Seth Rollins
(Ziggler gets on the apron before he got kicked off by Rollins, moments later, Rollins hits the stomp on Ziggler before he is floored by a claymore by McIntyre to get the 3. Due to pre-match stipulations, Drew McIntyre will be allowed at ringside this sunday at Extreme Rules.)

VENUE - SNHU ARENA: MANCHESTER, NH
ANNOUNCERS - COREY GRAVES, TOM PHILLIPS & BYRON SAXTON

Smackdown Live opens with MIZ TV, with his guests, Team Hell No. They speak of the history of the team and them facing the Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship this Sunday. Miz shows a video package of the team but half of it was when Kane turned on Daniel Bryan way back when. Bryan claims Miz is trying to stir the pot, Miz responds by saying Bryan can't hang with him anymore and that's why he is with Kane. This angers Bryan but Kane got him to calm down. Moments later Kane grabbed Miz by the throat after the inference that Bryan was hiding behind his broken demon. Moments later, The Bludgeon Brothers made their way out.

As the Smackdown Tag Team Champions walked down the ring, SAnitY attack Bryan and Kane inside the ring. The New Day are next to come out and try to clean house but SAnitY and Bludgeon Brothers turn things back in their favour. WWE officials break things up as SAnitY and Bludgeon Brothers stare at each other.

Before the next match starts, Rusev makes his way out and tells AJ Styles that at Extreme Rules, he is coming to destroy the house that AJ Styles built.

1# AJ Styles bt. Shinsuke Nakamura Via DQ in a non-title match
(Rusev and Aiden English were on commentary for this match. During the match, English taunts Styles which led to him smackdown English. Moments later, Nakamura went to kick Styles but hit English instead. Styles is on the ring apron after throwing Nakamura in the ring when Rusev trips him, then holds him for Nakamura. Moments later, Jeff Hardy came down and despite the numbers, hit a double drop kick sending Rusev and Nakamura to the outside. Post-match, Paige comes out and makes a tag team match right now.)

2# Rusev (w/ Aiden English) & Shinsuke Nakamura bt. Jeff Hardy & AJ Styles

James Ellsworth is backstage training when Carmella tells him that he had better take care of Asuka tonight. Ellsworth tells Carmella to "not worry babe, i got it", before winking at her. She warns him with a beating if he does it again.

3# Asuka bt. James Ellsworth Via submission in a Lumberjack match
(The entire Smackdown women's divison surrounded the ring for this match. Post-match, Carmella came in the ring and was cornered by Asuka. Ellsworth then sprays Asuka with a can before Carmella kicks her down and raises her title.)

The New Day are backstage with Team Hell No ahead of tonight's 10-man tag team main event. Bryan and Kane start exchanging yes and no before Big E yells at them to stop and to formulate a strategy. Kane quotes a line from an Nsync song about tonight.

Backstage, Carmella tells James he has got the job done when they walk in to Paige. The Smackdown GM informs Ellsworth that he will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage for Carmella's match this Sunday.

4# Andrade "Cien" Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) bt. Sin Cara

SAnitY are backstage and state they are here to break the status quo, and New Day/Team Hell No's time in the sun is over. Only thing left is pure, unadulterated chaos. When they turn around, Bludgeon Brothers say "let the bludgeoning begin".

1# Kalisto (w/ Lucha House Party) bt. Tony Nese (w/ Buddy Murphy) Via DQ
(Murphy had had enough of the noise made by the Lucha House Party, the referee told Murphy to back it up but Murphy attacked Kalisto to cause the DQ. Post-match, Nese and Murphy went after the Lucha House Party but Dorado hit a suicide dive onto Nese and Murphy.)

Drake Maverick is backstage and welcomes back Noam Dar and congratulates him on his victory last week. TJP interrupted and claimed that things have gotten much worse on 205 live. TJP claimed that if he had time, he would have beaten Dar. Drake said if TJP wants a rematch he back have it next week.

2# Lio Rush bt. Colin Delaney
(Akira Tozawa made his way to ringside before the match, Rush gave Tozawa a chair for Tozawa to watch the match. Dakota Kai is interviewed backstage about what happened last week, Kai says that Baszler will see her very soon. Lacey Evans interrupted and said she would be awful if she got the belt. She says the division needs class and sophistication, and Kai doesn't show that strength. Kai threatens to kick the class off her face.

2# Kairi Sane bt. Vanessa Borne Via Submission
(Post-match, Kairi Sane calls out Shayna Baszler and says to her that she has beaten her before, and she is going to do ti again.)

It has been announced by NXT GM William Regal that there will be a #1 contenders fatal 4-way match next week - Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross vs. Candice LeRae vs. Bianca Belair and the winner will face Shayna Baszler at Takeover: Brooklyn.

Before the break, Ciampa attacked Aleister Black as he entered the building. He has been rushed to a medical facility.

Renee Young is backstage with Kurt Angle. Angle gives Brock Lesnar an ultimatum, either he comes to RAW tomorrow to negotiate his next title defence or he will be stripped of the title.

2# Finn Balor bt. Constable Baron Corbin

Backstage, we see the Bludgeon Brothers viciously attacking Team Hell No. They put Kane's ankle in a door and hit the door with a mallet. WWE officials and Paige come along to check on them.

3# Carmella bt. Asuka to retain the Smackdown Women's Championship
(James Ellsworth was suspended above the ring in a shark cage for this match. During the match, Ellsworth manages to pick the lock and escape the cage but his pants are stuck on the cage so he is dangling upside down. Asuka begins to kick him and then hits a dropkick. The production crew come in to the ring to free Ellsworth but Asuka scares them away. Asuka kicks away at him until Carmella sent her head first in to the cage and pinned her for the 3. Post-match, Asuka attacks the production crew and Ellsworth, she gives him a German Suplex before applying the Asuka lock.)

4# Shinsuke Nakamura bt. Jeff Hardy to become the new WWE United States Champion
(Before the match, Nakamura gives Hardy a low blow. Hardy does agree to start the match, Nakamura immediately connects with the Kinshasha to get the win. Post-match, Randy Orton returns and stares at Nakamura who is standing on the announce table. He then grabs Hardy and stomped on his groin before walking off.)

5# Kevin Owens bt. Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage match
(Strowman chokeslams Owens off the top of the cage through an announce table which resulted in Owens winning the match. Post-match, EMTs run down to help him as Strowman laughs.)

We will see the WWE Super Showdown airing from Australia at the Melbourne Cricket ground in October.

6# The Bludgeon Brothers bt. Team Hell No to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship
(Daniel Bryan started the match alone as Kane was injured earlier. Kane did join the match towards the end wearing an ankle boot but couldn't manage to hit the tombstone and the bludgeon brothers took advantage by taking out Kane and then double teaming Bryan to get the win.)

7# Bobby Lashley bt. Roman Reigns
8# Alexa Bliss (w/ Mickie James) bt. Nia Jax (w/ Natalya) in an Extreme Rules match to retain the RAW Women's Championship
(Natalya pulled James off the apron and hit her with a garbage can lid. Bliss attacked Natalya and sent her in to the barricade. A furious Ronda Rousey jumped over the barricade and sent James in to the barricade twice. She hit a modfied samoan drop before throwing her out of the ring and over the table. Bliss attempted to run away but Rousey caught her, James hit Rousey twice with a kendo stick. In the ring, Nia was about to hit Alexa with a samoan drop when James hit her with a chair, followed by a DDT by Bliss on Nia to get the 3. Post-match, Rousey furiously chases both women out of the ring.)

It was announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the WWE United States Championship this Tuesday on Smackdown against Jeff Hardy.

9# AJ Styles bt. Rusev (w/ Aiden English) to retain the WWE Championship
(During the match, English exposed the turnbuckle which ultimately led to Styles winning the match as he sent Rusev in to the exposed steel. He hit a springboard 360 and a phenomenal forearm moments later after kicking English off the apron to get the 3.)

10# Dolph Ziggler (w/ Drew McIntyre) bt. Seth Rollins by 5-4 in a 30-minute Ironman match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
(During the match, Rollins was 2-0 up when McIntyre got involved which caused it to go 3-0. McIntyre was ejected from ringside but did hit the Claymore on Rollins before leaving the ring, which resulted in Ziggler managing to get in to the match. After the 30-minutes, the score was 4-4. Kurt Angle ordered the match in to Sudden death, McIntyre got in the apron and distracted Rollins which led to the Zig Zag by Ziggler to get the fall.)

RAW GM Kurt Angle opens the show and thanks everyone for their effort and dedication last night at Extreme Rules. He spoke of the ultimatum he gave Lesnar last night, as he hasn't heard from him or his representative, he is stripping Lesnar of the WWE Universal Championship.

Paul Heyman marches out, he mentions Lesnar isn't here this evening. Angle cuts him off and says he leaves him no choice. After Heyman spoke of how Lesnar loves the WWE and the Universal Champion. Angle makes him agree that he will defend the title at Summerslam. Bobby Lashley comes out and says he wants to beat Lesnar for the title. Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Elias, Finn Balor and Roman Reigns come out to make claim to fight Lesnar. Angle makes two triple threat matches, the winner of each will face each other next week with the winner facing Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. The first triple threat will be Elias vs. Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley. The other triple threat will be Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns and that match is right now.

Backstage, Constable Baron Corbin bemoans making two triple threat matches without the authorization of Stephanie McMahon, and how he isn't in one of them. Angle told him that he didn't deserve it as he lost last night.

Bayley is backstage with Kurt Angle and tells him that the friendship counselling didn't work. He makes Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke & Alicia Fox tonight. He says he they can't get along, one of them will be traded to Smackdown.

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring and boasted his win in the Ironman match last night. Bobby Roode made his way out and challenged Ziggler for the title. Ziggler agrees to the match. When JoJo was going to make the announcement for the match, Ziggler cut her off and said Roode can have a match, not a title match.

Renee Young is backstage with Braun Strowman. She asks if he regrets what he did to Owens last night. He said he regrets not congratulating Owens on his victory. He says he is money in the bank so he doesn't need to be involved in the triple threat matches when questioned.

5# The B-Team bt. The Ascension
(Post-match, The Deleters of Worlds appear on-screen and says they will invoke their rematch soon and will be deleted forever.)

Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring with Mickie James. She gloats about defeating Nia Jax last night and claims that Ronda Rousey should be indefinitely suspended after last night. Ronda Rousey walks through the crowd and chases them to the ring and catches Mickie James. She slams Mickie and went for an arm bar before Bliss pulled her from the ring. Rousey chased and took all of them out and went to apply the arm bar on Bliss when Angle came out and told her to go home as she has 2 days left of her suspension.

Constable Corbin demands Rousey to be reprimanded for her actions when Angle added another week on to her suspension. When Corbin went backstage in search for his phone that Angle had to speak to Stephanie McMahon. Angle made Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women's Championship at Summerslam.

(Morgan distracts Moon when she got to the top rope, Logan crotches her and picks up the win.)

He said he will focus on 3 things tonight - to make Shinsuke feel as much pain as possible, to make him fade away and classify himself as obsolete and to take back his United States Championship.

Shinsuke Nakamura is backstage with Renee Young and says Jeff Hardy is a sad clown and that's a reason to smile. He says tonight he will make the clown cry again.

1# AJ Styles bt. Andrade "Cien" Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) in a non-title match

Aiden English is walking backstage and apologizes to Lana. She questions whether he is best for Rusev and how Rusev is angry and disappointed. Aiden asks for a second chance with Lana takes in to consideration.

2# Becky Lynch bt. Mandy Rose (w/ Sonya Deville) Via Submission
(Post-match, Becky Lynch grabbed a microphone and sends a message to Carmella that "Straight fire is coming for you". She says it is time that she became Smackdown Women's Champion once more.)

Backstage, Carmella asks Paige if she just heard the comments from Becky Lynch. Carmella said she deserves a Mellabration after defeating Charlotte Flair and Asuka twice. Paige agrees under the condition that she has to defeat Becky Lynch. If she loses, she will defend her title against Becky at Summerslam.

Tye Dillinger is backstage with R-Truth. Truth is talking and Dillinger tells him he doesn't want a motivational speech. It was revealed that Truth was talking on a bluetooth headset.

3# Samoa Joe bt. Tye Dillinger Via Submission

Funeral music plays as The Miz comes to the ring wearing a black suit. A pallbearer then brings out a coffin with Kane's mask on it. He presents an euology for Team Hell No. After going through the euology, he said "i told you so". He then spoke how Bryan's return from injury has been a bust, he has been destroying his legacy and no one has the courage to tell him. He says Daniel's days of main eventing WrestleMania are over. Daniel Bryan then attacks Miz from behind, the Pallbearers defend Miz but Bryan attacks them as Miz rolls out and leaves the ring.

4# Eric Young (w/ SAnitY) bt. Kofi Kingston (w/ The New Day)
(During the match, Eric Young pushes Kofi on to Killain Dain who throws Xavier Woods on to Kofi from outside the ring. Eric Young the connected with the neckbreaker to get the 3.)

Next week, Paige will announce who will face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

5# Jeff Hardy bt. Shinsuke Nakamura Via DQ in a WWE United States Championship match
(Randy Orton pulled Jeff out of the ring to cause the DQ. Post-match, Orton attacks Jeff with Jeff getting some offence in but was quickly shot down by Orton throwing him in to the ring steps. Orton puts his finger in Jeff's ear ring hole and starts pulling on it until he throws Jeff on to the announce table. He then hits a dragging DDT from the announce table to the floor.)

Dasha is backstage with Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese. Murphy said attacked the Luchas last week as he doesn't like to lose and they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. He said that next week, Tony Nese will face Kalisto one on one.

Cedric Alexander goes in to Drake Maverick's office. Maverick said next week it will be Drew Gulak vs. Hideo Itami vs. TJP vs. Mustafa Ali in a Fatal 4-Way and the winner will face Cedric for the Crusierweight title.

We see a video package highlight the NXT Championship match between Aleister Black and Tommaso Ciampa next week.

We hear from the Undisputed era who spoke about the gold they are carrying before Adam Cole called Ricochet talking smack about him a joke. He says he is a fighting champion and told him to back off before he gets hurt.

The show opens with the entire RAW locker room and the whole WWE Women's Division on the stage. WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon is in the ring and brings Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to the ring for an historic announcement. After Triple H acknowledges every superstar who has stepped in the ring, he asks the women to step on the stage. Triple H spoke how proud they are of them and the men that stand behind them truly support them. Stephanie then announces they are going to do another first-ever. On October 28, over 50 women then, now, forever will participate in a show called Evolution. It will be the first all-women's PPV.

Before their match, the B-Team are in the ring and spoke how 10-weeks ago they couldn't win a match and now they are defending the RAW Tag Team Championship. He says the B stands for brothers, Dallas says that Axel is the brother he never had. Elias is then introduced but he is immediately cut off by the Deleters of Worlds.

(Post-match, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt applaud the B-Team before Hardy hits Dallas with a twist of fate while Wyatt hits Axel with the Sister Abigail.)

Finn Balor is backstage with Chad Gable, they were interrupted when someone walks by with his suitcase and his jacket. He was informed that Constable Corbin has been given orders to move him to a new room. The new locker room is revealed to be a kid's outdoor playhouse. Corbin walks up and says it suits his stature. Corbin then wishes Balor luck in his match with Drew McIntyre.

Charly Caruso is backstage with Sasha Banks and Bayley, they spoke how they are two different people but they have the same dream. They say they are ready to be on the same page.

2# Sasha Banks & Bayley bt. Samantha Simon & Karen Lunde Via Submission

Elias is on the stage and announced his debut album is available on iTunes. He is then cut off by Braun Strowman. Strowman spoke of how it didn't matter who is the Universal Champion as sooner or later, a monster will come calling. He holds up the Money in the Bank briefcase.

A hurt Kevin Owens makes his way out and bemoaned Strowman coming out here to talk about the Universal title after what he did to him at Extreme Rules. Owens told Strowman he is now going to take everything away from him, after he told a story of Strowman crushing his 10-year old son's dream of teaming with him when Strowman crushed his spine. Strowman challenges him to come to the ring but Owens says that he has nothing left to prove.

Constable Corbin came to the stage and brought out Jinder Mahal in attempt to control the behaviour of Strowman. Mahal said he has been appointed to assist Strowman in his journey to find inner peace. Moments later, Strowman hits Mahal with a big boot and then threw Sunil Singh in to Mahal to knock him out of the ring. He then hit Singh with a running powerslam.

3# Mickie James (w/ Alexa Bliss) bt. Natalya in a non-title match
(Alexa Bliss pulls Natalya off the apron but Natalya responded by clotheslining her on the floor. Natalya gets in the ring and is hit with a Mick Kick as Mickie picked up the win.)

Charly Caruso is backstage with Roman Reigns and spoke of facing Bobby Lashley tonight and he says he is going to Summerslam to take the Universal Championship and whoop Brock Lesnar's ass.

Elias is back on the stage to talk about his new album when he interrupted by the Authors of Pain. After the commercial, Authors of Pain demands some new competition. Titus Worldwide make their way out with Titus telling them that they have a lot to learn in the WWE. Akam told him he can walk away and retire. Titus Worldwide then attack them to show them respect.

Kurt Angle is backstage with Stephanie McMahon in front of a limousine. Owens and Corbin approached with Owens saying Angle has let the situation with Strowman get out of hand. Owens says he wants a match where if he wins, he can win the money in the bank briefcase. Stephanie agreed to the idea and made the match.

4# Mojo Rawley bt. Tyler Breeze

We see a handheld video promo from Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. They spoke of the plan to take over Monday Night RAW. They said Rollins tried to interfere in their plans but got decimated by WWE's resident Ironman. McIntyre blamed Balor for not being in the Universal title match because Balor lost. He said he is going to wipe the smile of Balor's face permantly.

Elias is on the stage and is angry at being interrupted as tonight is his night. He was then interrupted by Finn Balor.

(Ziggler crotches Balor to cause the DQ. Post-match, it's a 2-on-1 beatdown until Seth Rollins made the save. Kurt Angle made his way out and restarted the match as a tag team match right now.)

In the arena, Randy Orton comes to the ring and said he did what he did to Jeff Hardy, not because of them having unfinished business but because of the fans. He says he doesn't get the respect he deserves after 16 years in the WWE. He then calls the fans the real legend killers. He says he won't let the fans win and it is his mission to destroy every superstar put in front of him, and says Jeff isn't here tonight and won't ever be back when he is done with him.

1# Andrade "Cien" Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) bt. Rusev (w/ Lana)
(Zelina Vega slaps Lana outside of the ring, Lana spears Vega on the outside. Aiden English comes down to break it up. Vega jumps on the back of him and he accidentally hits Lana. This gets Rusev's attention, Almas connected with a Hammerlock DDT to get the 3.)

R-Truth is backstage with Tye Dillinger and spoke how it is his first match back since WrestleMania and he will be facing Samoa Joe.

Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura spoke of what happened last week and has been bitten by the viper. He then told Orton to watch out as he bites back.

Smackdown GM Paige makes her way to the ring and brings out AJ Styles to the ring. Styles spoke about the Evolution PPV and spoke of being proud of being the WWE Champion. He signs the contract and just as Paige was to introduce his opponent, James Ellsworth makes his way out. He mentioned how he returned for the title and had already beaten Styles 3 times. Moments later, Paige tells him to stop it and he insults her. She then proceeds to fire him and along with security makes sure he is kicked out of the arena.

Whilst this was going on, Samoa Joe attacks AJ Styles and applies the Coquina Clutch. Samoa Joe then signs the contract for the WWE Championship match at Summerslam. Backstage, Paige asks why Joe did what he did but he said it was phenomenal. Carmella questioned why she fired James Ellsworth. She told her to buy a new boyfriend. She said she will stay champion until the Evolution PPV.

(Due to pre-match stipulations, it will be Carmella vs. Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship at Summerslam.)

5# The New Day (w/ Kofi Kingston) bt. SAnitY (w/ Eric Young) in a semifinal match in the Smackdown Tag Team Championship tournament
(The Usos were at ringside for this match. Post-match, The Bar come to the stage and say they miss being tag team champions. Next week, they will face The Usos.)

The Miz comes to the ring with Maryse and his baby, and welcomes everyone to another edition of MIZ TV. They spoke about the premiere of Miz and Mrs on the USA Network after Smackdown. He makes fun of Daniel Bryan before we see a sneak peek of the show. Daniel Bryan appears on the screen before he comes to the ring. Bryan attacks both security guards and gets in the ring. Miz throws a baby doll to Bryan before he attacks Bryan and hits the Skull Crushing Finale. He said he fooled everyone and didn't bring his daughter tonight but you can tune in to the show if you want to see her.

Ricochet made his way out and calls him cowardly before challenging him for the North American title at Takeover. Cole dismisses it and leaves the ring. Cole feins returning to the ring when Ricochet called him a coward again. Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly make their way out but the War Raiders make their way out and scared the Undisputed Era by the back curtains. Mustache Mountain was waiting for them and attack forcing Undisputed Era to scramble from ringside).

We see William Regal at the WWE Performance Center with Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane. Both women sign the contract for the NXT Women's title match at Takeover, Baszler mocks Sane for pretending to be a pirate. Sane says she can beat Shayna.

2# Lacey Evans bt. Tenilla Price

Backstage, Bianca Belair spoke of being hurt and she shouldn't have to fight those girls again to prove she is worthy of a title shot. She mentions she is undefeated and she will get what she deserves when she is back from rehab.

Moments later, Candice LeRae is restrained from coming to close to Shayna Baszler as she leaves the contract signing. LeRae challenges Baszler to say all this stuff to her face, Baszler laughs her off and says one day she is going to pay.

3# Tommaso Ciampa bt. Aleister Black to become the new NXT Champion
(The referee is down so Johnny Gargano is there to kick Ciampa as he was going to hit Black with it. As Gargano wrestles it away from Ciampa, he hit Black by accident. Ciampa threw Gargano out of the ring, hit a falling-forward piledriver and got the 3.)

He spoke about Lesnar being here tonight and said that he wouldn't come out in his yard to talk trash in his face like he did at UFC. Paul Heyman then comes out and gives us a spoiler, that Lesnar will defeat Reigns at Summerslam and then go to UFC to become a two-sport champion. Reigns tells him to shut up and to bring Lesnar out. Heyman said he will come out when and if he feels like it. Reigns says that he is going to send Lesnar back to UFC as Roman Reigns' bitch.

After the commercial, Heyman was trying to show Lesnar backstage what Reigns just said about him. Lesnar decides to throw Heyman's phone at the wall and sits back down as he isnt watch the show.

(Post-match, Corbin attacked Balor and threw him against the barrier.)

RAW GM Kurt Angle approaches Heyman backstage and tells him that he will terminate his contract if Lesnar doesn't come to the ring tonight and fufill his contractual obligations.

Alicia Fox is warming up backstage when Alexa Bliss approaches, Bliss tells Fox she has picked her to face Natalya as Mickie James is injured. Bliss says she will take care of Ronda Rousey who is in Natalya's corner tonight.

(During the match, Fox tries to kick Rousey from the ring when the referee comes over. Bliss hits Natalya from behind through the ropes during the distraction, Fox hits a big kick for the win. Post-match, Rousey slams Bliss before going for the arm bar but Fox made the save. Rousey drove Fox in to the mat and went after Bliss, Fox comes from behind and drops Rousey before launching her in to the barrier before leaving with Bliss.)

Backstage, Heyman is trying to suggest to Lesnar to go to the ring. Lesnar said he doesn't give a crap about the WWE Universe, he told Heyman to go get him a steak.

After the commercial, Ronda Rousey is backstage with Natalya and Kurt Angle. Rousey doesn't want to wait until Summerslam. Angle announces it will be Ronda Rousey's first RAW singles match next week against Alicia Fox.

Elias is in the ring playing his guitar, and spoke about the success of his new album. He brought up Bobby Lashley before taking shots at Miami. Lashley soon made his way out. Elias spoke of how Lashley wants to sing with him. Elias begins a performance but stops and decks Lashley. Lashley comes back and sends Elias in to retreat.

Kevin Owens approaches Baron Corbin backstage and was sucking up to him to ensure that he has a chance to win Strowman's money in the bank briefcase. Corbin isn't interested in helping him.

3# Jinder Mahal (w/ Sunil Singh) bt. Braun Strowman via count-out
(Kevin Owens appeared at ringside and had the money in the bank briefcase. Braun chases Owens, Owens threw the case to Sunil Singh who got motored down. He continued to chase Owens up the ramp and got counted out.)

Mike Kanellis, The Ascension, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Rhyno and Heath Slater are backstage in the locker room when Mojo Rawley comes in, speaking of what he has done recently. Bobby Roode comes in and asks him if he has a problem with him, moments later both superstars are brawling until they are separated.

4# Apollo Crews (w/ Titus Worldwide) bt. Akam (w/ Rezar)
5# Seth Rollins bt. Drew McIntyre (w/ Dolph Ziggler) Via DQ
(Rollins had the match won but Ziggler attacked Rollins to cause the DQ. Post-match, Ziggler continues the attack when Rollins countered and clotheslined Ziggler to the floor before hitting a big dive on to him.)

After a phone call from Stephanie earlier, Angle and Corbin walk in to remove Reigns from the building. Angles also says that Reigns is in jeopardy of losing his Summerslam title shot. The police escort Reigns away but drops Corbin with a big right hand first.

It will be Cedric Alexander vs. The Brian Kendrick this Tuesday night on 205 Live.

Charly Caruso conducts an in-ring interview with the RAW Tag Team Champions, The B-Team. They spoke about their newfound success and call Hardy and Wyatt sore losers. The lights go off and when they come on, Hardy and Wyatt are in the ring. They spoke about being B Team's nightmare and will haunt them until they are finally deleted. The Revival interrupt and want Wyatt and Hardy to step aside s a couple of real top guys can handle business. Bo goes to attack so Revival fight back, B-Team retreat as Revival and Wyatt/Hardy are going at it. Wyatt and Hardy send Revival out of the ring.

Renee Young is backstage with Seth Rollins, and spoke of his frustrations having to deal with two superstars. He spoke of how there is nothing he won't do to get the title back at Summerslam. Ziggler and McIntyre then attack Rollins from behind.

7# Bayley & Sasha Banks bt. The Riott Squad

Paul Heyman once again interrupts Brock Lesnar backstage, he is trying to get Lesnar out to the ring and informs the WWE Universal Champion that Lesnar has been escorted out of the ring. He then tells Lesnar about his WWE contract being at stake if he doesn't show. Lesnar mentioned how they are not friends and he works for him. He ordered Heyman to go out there and do his job.

Next week, it will be Mojo Rawley vs. Bobby Roode.

Kurt Angle and Constable Baron Corbin are in the ring and tells Paul Heyman to bring Lesnar out. Heyman told Angle that Lesnar is not coming out. Angle spoke of what a real champion is and says that Lesnar has to be the worst Universal Champion of all time. Heyman started to kiss up to Angle, but Angle announces his contract is terminated.

Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring, he asks Angle and Corbin if they have a problem with him before he hit Angle with an F5 as Corbin sheepishly left the ring. Both Lesnar and Heyman laugh at Angle until Lesnar grabbed Heyman by the mouth, tells him to look at Angle before putting his knee on him. He then grabs his title and leaves the ring.

Smackdown Live opens with Renee Young introducing Becky Lynch to the ring. They spoke about Becky being back in the title picture. Becky spoke of not being the Smackdown Women's Champion for 2 years now, and promises to beat Carmella and walk in Evolution as champion.

Carmella makes her way to the ring, and feigned a promo of how she can't wait to tear the house down with Becky and prove everyone wrong. She says good luck before James Ellsworth's music hit. This provided the distraction for Carmella to attack Becky, she was about to DDT Becky on the chair when Charlotte came down to the ring and kicked Carmella, before hitting an overhead suplex.

Paige is backstage with Carmella, after Carmella insulted her and how she will never be the champion again, Paige made Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair tonight. She also added if Charlotte wins, the title match at Summerslam will be a triple threat.

1# The Bar bt. The Usos in a Smackdown tag team championship tournament match
(The New Day were at ringside on their own announce table doing commentary.)

Renee Young is backstage with Charlotte Flair and spoke of facing Carmella tonight. She lets everyone know that she is back and is ready to reclaim her throne.

Samoa Joe comes to the ring and addresses AJ Styles, initially gives Styles respect before saying how he is barely home and prefers a suitcase to being with his own wife. Joe calls Styles a failure as a father, he says he is coming to take that away from him as he says, "after i am down tearing down your house, after i am down putting you to sleep, your wife and kids will have daddy back, but i will be WWE Champion".

Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring and spoke how he lost a piece of himself when he lost the United States Championship. He spoke of beating the hell out of Randy Orton also important, as he called him to the ring. As Orton walked out, Jeff turned his back. Nakamura attacked Jeff from behind and moments later was blocked with the Kinshasa by Orton. Orton then allows Nakamura to hit Jeff with the Kinshasha. Orton continues to attack Jeff and hits a DDT off the ropes on Jeff. He then hit Jeff with a DDT on the floor before tossing him on to the announce table, he began to remove the face paint off Jeff's face before throwing Jeff's head off the table one last time as WWE Officials break it up.

Renee Young is backstage with Becky Lynch who said that she isn't so happy with the thought of a triple threat at Summerslam.

2# Zelina Vega (w/ Andrade "Cien" Almas) bt. Lana
(Almas jumps on the apron to distract Lana when Aiden English came down and pulled Almas down. Zelina rolled her up for the 3.)

Next week, it will be The New Day vs. The Bar to determine who will challenge the Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship at Summerslam

The Bludgeon Brothers are backstage, they say that no one can escape them at Summerslam.

Backstage, Aiden English is trying to apologize to Lana. Rusev tells Lana it would of never happened if he was out there, Lana replied by telling him that she could of really used him tonight.

Daniel Bryan made his way to the ring, he first spoke of the Evolution PPV and then turned his attention to what Miz did last week. He spoke of how Miz knows he would destroy him in a real fight. Bryan invites Miz out but Miz only showed up on the screen as he is onset of "Miz and Mrs". Bryan calls Miz a coward and Miz reminds everyone what happened on Talking Smack when Bryan said that. Miz continued by saying how he carried Bryan as his pro on NXT, Bryan says it is Miz's dream to from WWE to Hollywood but he will never be the Rock or John Cena, no one will even remember him as a great superstar as he is too soft. Bryan then invites Miz to a match at Summerslam. Miz tells Bryan that he should just be quiet and go away and shows pics and sounds of babies crying on the screen as says the WWE Universe looks at him in one way.

AJ Styles will address Samoa Joe next week.

We see the contract signing from earlier today with Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak and 205 Live GM Drake Maverick ahead of the Cruiserweight title match at Summerslam. Gulak questions what Cedric has done since winning the title at WrestleMania.

Lio Rush makes his way to the ring, he spoke about not giving Akira Tozawa a rematch and says he found an opponent who can put up a better fight than Tozawa.

(Post-match, Bate and Severe apologise for losing the NXT Tag Team Championship but say they want to continue their mission to reclaim the titles and call for their rematch at Takeover: Brooklyn.)

3# EC3 bt. Kona Reeves
(During the match, Velveteen Dream makes his way out with a mic and spoke of what happened at the Royal Albert Hall. He then switched the atmosphere to purple hues and then back again. This fails to distract EC3 as he managed to pick up the win.)

4# Shayna Bazler bt. Candice LeRae Via Submission in a non-title match
(Post-match, Baszler attacks LeRae until Kairi Sane runs down and forces Baszler away. Baszler then puts the boots on Sane as she is checking on LeRae.)

Outside Full Sail, Moustache Mountain are asked about their rematch and say they don't need any tricks. Hanson and Rowe come in and says that it doesn't matter who leaves Brooklyn as they are taking the NXT Tag Team Championship.

GM William Regal makes 2 matches for Takeover: Brooklyn. It will be EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream, and Adam Cole vs. Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship. Also next week, Keith Lee will make his debut.

The new NXT Champion, Tomasso Ciampa makes his way to the ring to a hostile NXT crowd. He sits on the top turnbuckle as says he deserves the title, and also how the icing of the cake was not only did he beat Aleister Black, but Johnny Gargano proved, once again, that he is a failure. He describes himself as untouchable and NXT will forever be the "A" show.

Ciampa sits cross-legged which brings out Aleister Black, Gargano charges right by and attacks Ciampa, he hits clothesline after clothesline and sends him out of the ring. Gargano grabs a mic and says that only reason he is NXT Champion is becayse of him. Black then hits a superkick on Gargano and agrees with Gargano's words.

RAW GM Kurt Angle and Constable Baron Corbin opens the show and hypes tonight's historic night as Ronda Rousey will make her in-ring debut. He goes to speak about Lesnar until Corbin warned him but he is furious over being attacked. He said that Renee Young will interview Paul Heyman tonight.

Roman Reigns comes down as tells Angle that he was rag dolled by Lesnar last week as he was kicked out of the arena. Angle does mention he hopes Reigns kicks Lesnar's ass at Summerslam, this was greeted by a scolding by Corbin for being unprofessional. Reigns commented on how Corbin ran away and Angle told him he could of acted as a man. Angle comments on how Corbin acts as if he owns the show, Angle says he makes the match and sees a match right now. Constable Baron Corbin will take on Roman Reigns.

(Corbin tried to leave ringside when Finn Balor came out to stop him from leaving. This led to Reigns hitting the superman punch off the steps, then hitting a spear in the ring to get the 3. Post-match, Balor dropkicks Corbin in the corner and hits the Coup de Grace.)

Seth Rollins is backstage with Kurt Angle, he spoke of how he is focused on getting the Intercontinental title but McIntyre keeps thwarting him. Angle tells him to find a tag team partner and they will take on Ziggler and McIntyre tonight.

2# Bobby Roode bt. Mojo Rawley

Elias is in the ring with his guitar and spoke of having a documentary crew with him. He tells them they are moving too slow, like Bobby Lashley. He starts playing and gets interrupted by Lashley. Elias thinks he is here to steal his spotlight, and calls Lashley's comeback as a joke. Lashley responds by saying everything about Elias is a joke and warns him that next time his name comes out of Elias' mouth, what he does to him won't be a joke. Elias directs the camera crew to leave before beating Lashley down. Moments later, Lashley hit the spinebuster and called the film crew in to the ring as he hit the delayed vertical suplex.

Backstage, Tyler Breeze offers to be Seth Rollins' partner tonight, he says they could be called Crossfit-Breeze-us. Roman Reigns walks in and says he will be his partner.

3# Rezar (w/ Akam) bt. Titus O'Neil (w/ Titus Worlwide)

The Kevin Owens show returns to RAW with the stage set up by the main stage. He introduces his guest, Jinder Mahal. Owens said that he woke up pain free thanks to Mahal after being thrown off the cage at Extreme Rules. He spoke about how both he and Mahal defeated Braun Strowman. He has an idea, Mahal will face Strowman one more time. When Owens introduces Strowman, he doesn't appear. The stage then tips and Strowman is revealed to be under the stage.

4# Jinder Mahal (w/ Kevin Owens & Sunil Singh) bt. Braun Strowman Via DQ
(Owens steals the briefcase a couple of times, Mahal then attacked him and Strowman accidentally hit him with the briefcase to cause the DQ. Post-match, Mahal manages to escape but Sunil gets swatted down.)

Backstage, Angle has a call from Stephanie McMahon and says he will deal with it. Moments later, it was revealed by Corbin to Reigns and Rollins that Reigns is forbidden from wrestling a second time tonight as it could jeopardize the summerslam main event and will forfeit the Summerslam match if he does. Rollins says he will sort it. Reigns asks how Corbin's ribs are before punching him in them and laughing.

5# Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre bt. Seth Rollins in a 2-on-1 Handicap match
6# The B-Team vs. The Revival in a non-title match ends in a no contest
(During the match, the lights go out and when they come back on, Axel and Wilder are missing from the apron and in their place are Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. They attack Dawson and Dallas as Hardy hits the twist of fate on Dawson, and Wyatt hits Dallas with the Sister Abigail.)

Renee Young interviews Paul Heyman, and when questioned, Heyman says he couldn't get in touch with Lesnar after last week. Heyman has red eyes and is unshaved, on the verge of tears. Heyman commented how he considers Lesnar a friend and says he has never seen Lesnar more driven and focused. He said that Roman Reigns doesn't stand a chance against this Brock Lesnar.

7# The Riott Squad bt. Sasha Banks & Bayley
(A mystery person helps Sarah Logan at ringside and is revealed to be Ruby Riott. Logan rolls up Banks to get the 3.)

Next week, it will be The B-Team vs. Deleters of Worlds and The Revival in a triple threat for the RAW Tag Team Championship.

Randy Orton opens the show and spoke of Jeff Hardy calling him out last week. Orton spoke of his vow to take out every superstar who the fans put up on a pedestal and says he will become so violent that fans will want to change the channel. Orton spoke about how the fans still won't respect him despite his 16 year career, and says it isn't on him, it's on each and every one of the fans.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair walks up to Becky Lynch and tells her she was trying to steal her thunder last week. Becky says it puts her in a bad position as she wanted Carmella alone at Summerslam. They spoke about getting on the same page for their match with the IIconics tonight.

Renee Young is backstage with The New Day. It ended up being Kofi with a blond wig interviewing Woods and Big E about their match with the Bar tonight. They are confident of beating Cesaro and Sheamus, and then taking the titles from the Bludgeon Brothers at Summerslam.

We see a video from earlier today of The Miz accepting Daniel Bryan's Summerslam challenge.

Charlotte and Becky are backstage discussing their win tonight, they agree to be great against each other at Summerslam.

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring and spoke of how Joe made it personal last week when he spoke about his family. He spoke of his sacrifices and how he has just celebrated 18-years with his wife. He said how Joe has now thrown away him and Joe's personal relationship when he brought up his family. He says Joe won't walk out of Summerslam with the title and will be lucky to walk out period.

Rusev tells Lana backstage he will be in his corner tonight. Aiden English approaches and apologies for what happened last week, they forgave him but told him to stick to the back.

(Almas distracted Lana which prompted Rusev to go over and yell at him but allows Vega to kick him to the back of the head, and then Almas nailed Rusev and sent him in the ring post. Aiden English came down to make the save for Rusev but Lana gets distracted which leads to the running knees in the corner to get the 3.)

Backstage, Renee Young interviewed Shinsuke Nakamura about his Summerslam match with Jeff Hardy. R-Truth interrupts with Tye Dillinger, Truth says he wants a match at Summerslam for the United States title and says he will get it by pinning Carmella. Nakamura walks off after more shenanigans and Truth says the match with Carmella is off but he wants Nakamura tonight.

Byron Saxton introduces the Miz on the big screen, Miz is on set for Miz and Mrs. Miz spoke about the success of the show and says he will happily embarass Bryan at Summerslam. Moments later, Bryan comes out of nowhere and attackks Miz. Bryan fought off two security guards but gets smashed in the head by a vase from Miz.
