"results elsewhere led to the relegation of the club", here's me thinking where you finish at the end of the season is where you deserve based on the 46 games, in Blackburn's case = Relegated.
Don't shoot the messenger - I gave the club shit for the way they tried to push blame around too

Mulgrew is key for Blackburn, he'll be a class above this league, lose him and they'll be in trouble and I don't rate Mowbray after his balls up at Coventry. I listened to a hour long Rovers discussion a couple of days ago on Radio Lancashire. Basically the bottom line was, you've got no money to spend, Venkys haven't got a clue how to handle transfers and someone needs to tell them they'll need an extra 10m to pay the bills and get through the season. Add that to fans boycotting Ewood and it sounds grim.

Sounds exactly the same as our situation.

Incompetent owners who had no idea that L1 existed, let alone how to run a football club that plays in it.

Erm, I said if we keep hold of our manager and a few of our best players we'd go back up - not that outlandish of a statement. I also said if players are sold without adequate replacements we'll have our worst ever league finish (below 13th)...

Your squad now would only be mid table.

Wasn't a pop at you mate, just had to laugh at the club shifting the blame onto others in that statement!

Football wise, keeping hold of Mulgrew and Graham is one thing but what must those two be on a week? You can spend your way out of this league for sure but can't see Blackburn being in the same boat as the likes of other big spenders who have gone back up in recent years. Likewise the last time Mowbray was in this league (8 months? Ish ago?), he was binned from Coventry.

Not satisfied with being obsessed with Bolton last season, are Bradford fans shifting to Blackburn now?

Since when was Bradford in Lancashire anyway? Piss off you inbred bastards.

I very much doubt that Blackburn will keep Graham and Mulgrew, both good players on high wages, will probably have suitors although I hope it's not us personally. Blackburn's summer will be interesting, Emnes, Joao and Gallagher will need replacing too.

Not sure how much surgery Wigan will need, you would expect Bogle and Grigg to do damage in this league and they already have a lot of proven League One players, i'd happily take Morsy.

Fleetwood will be up there if they keep Rosler.

Is Blackburns squad better than Charltons when they went down?

Similar sized clubs with wacky owners, although Charlton probably underperformed this season. Blackburn could reasonably get play offs I reckon, even if they did lose some of their better players. Having seen a few Championship games this season, the gulf is massive.

Most people will expect Blackburn to do a Bolton and from a Fleetwood perspective its a very attractive game, and the more runs closer to home the better.

Fleetwood will be much changed this summer with few of better players from this campaign out of contract, and no certainty Rosler will be here, still linked with other jobs.

Our retained/released list hopefully out this week, I suspect Friday afternoon.

It couldn't be a bigger contrast in the playoff final. For the sake of away days and our away fan averages. Come on the Pool!

Please do not think all of us Shakers are the same.

As a side note that statement was so cringeworthy to read you would have thought it had come from the self confessed greatest chairman in Bury FC's history.

Our success in the away support average thread next season really does depend on the L2 playoff final. It'll either be 3k to Blackpool or less than 300 to Exeter. Obviously we'll get them on a Tuesday night as well as the EFL enjoy pissing us about like that. Portsmouth and Plymouth will be painful enough trips for one season.

@richsharpe89: Tony Mowbray on Connor Mahoney: "It looks as though he is going to test the market." Believes the 20-year-old will leave #Rovers this summer

@AndyBayes: Just spoken to Tony Mowbray, who tells me that realistically it looks like #rovers are looking at compensation for Connor Mahoney.

Hope we're in for him just to piss off Blackburn fans off, don't even know if he's any good.

strong rumours we were interested in him the other month.

Bit of a Lancanshire mini league then..

And the likes of Wigan and Blackburn will probably have more fans at the away game!

Bummer!
I wanted Exeter to win! ?
Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh!!!
Wonder how many of their boycotting fans sucummed to the temptation of a trip down to Wemberlee or did the anti Oyston sentiment hold fast?
