It's only £8k this season.

3 wins out of 3 for us. I can't stand this comp for the same reason as everyone else, but that's £24k banked which will definitely help given the lack of fans this season.
Just stuck a fiver on you lot outright to win it. 66/1.

We always get through the group - then go out within a couple of games of the knockouts.

Our record is excellent in the groups, last three years we’ve been unbeaten and won all but 2 I think (and won both of them on pens)

I don’t mind it in terms of watching them as less stressful than league games but glad we always pump the U21s sides. Won every game so far.

Another win and Reid scoring his first for the club is decent.

Ollie Clarke came on but from what I heard is nowhere near yet, we really need him back in midfield.

Since the change to the competition we've only gotten through the group stage the once. We used to put a lot of effort into this competition but now it's just like having an extra three friendlies per season.

We did, won it twice (like you?) and had two great days out at the finals and of course beat Stoke in the regional semis on both occasions!

Hey! We were stupid enough to do our part. To go through we had to win 2-0 and you had to lose. We can't help it if you're silly enough to score an equaliser.

I paid to watch this because I wanted to see some of out fringe players.

Our new left back Nico ExtremelylongGreekname looked pretty good. Kaheel in midfield is developing well and a couple of the others did ok to. Brian Galach who has been welded to our subs bench this season played the full game and scored 2 goals. One of which was a back post header against a six foot centre half. Galach is about 5'5 if he is that!

The game got a bit heated towards the end. Seems a bit silly to me.

Should really be having a go at Ipswich tbf, they must have known they only needed a point a few minutes in to the game.

Reserve side out for TRFC tonight against the pie eaters. New signing Danny Lloyd starts.

Should still win, Wigan were slightly better than Southend, our second string took them apart.

HT and Wigan look the better team. Danny Lloyd having a decent debut the only plus in a disappointing first half for Rovers.

Well we’re through along with Port Vale via a penalty shootout. Some of our pens were awful but Wigan’s were horrendous. Take that given it was pretty much a full second team out and Wigan only made 4 changes from their last League One fixture.

Keeps the momentum going, gets some more money into the club and 3 wins out of 3 since we sacked the manager! Port Vale next up on Saturday which should be a good game.

Danny Lloyd was outstanding considering he’s not played since March. Felt Joe Murphy kept us in the game with some smart saves too. On a sour note, the challenge on Lloyd near the end was disgusting. If the challenge on Lloyd didn’t deserve a red then the high five that followed from the culprit with a team mate certainly did.

That must be your motto for every cup given you’ve not won a single game in any cup competition this season
You win some you lose some.....I have also watched us at wembley in all 3 cups......

Completely agree Lloyd was excellent. Provides competition to the starting lineup and that wins effectively pays him a salary till the end of the season should we keep him on past January!

Yep that tackle was a proper snide scissor tackle from behind and should have been a red. No intention to win the ball whatsoever. And praising someone for it is embarrassing. That said it’s about all Wigan have to celebrate at the moment. I feel bad for the supporters about their current club situation and really admire how their players reacted last season in the championship but that behaviour tonight after the tackle was pathetic.

Prize money definitely more important now than ever. Around £40k we’ve made so far with a possible £25k more should we beat Brackley in Round 2 of the FA Cup. It all helps.

Know Wembley well... 3 trips in the past 4 seasons. Can provide directions if you’re ever back there pal

If we win in Hull next Tuesday we go through, will be the first time since we came back into League football if we manage that.

We've only ever won once and that was against Notts County, the season they went down.

Got two points already this season because we drew and scored more penalties than Harrogate!

Been watching Bolton there numerous times...Old and new.....Principality Stadium is a much better day out.

Allianz Arena in a European night......I have been spoiled. Tranmere or Mansfield away in the Micky mouse cup does nothing for me anymore.
