Have Carlisle yet had a fans forum where it might be explained as to why the f@@@ Curle got the job in the first place?

I don't mind the guy to be fair. Think we could do better but we could also do worse, and at the end of the day he came in and we were already 6 points below 23rd and looking like an early relegation and now we're 6 points clear in the right direction. I'm still undecided on whether or not we give him summer, but he's done well with Wyke, Kennedy, Buddle, Atkinson and he probably stopped Rigg dropping back into non-league so his transfer record is decent.

But was he inept tonight?

We parked the bus, but at our place we played and fell short 4-3.
Yes,he got lucky with as I have stated a rediculous free kick leading to goal then sat back with system of how do we call it a keeper and 10.

I honestly don,t think we could have hit a cows arse with a banjo tonight and if he had shown a bit of adventure you would have won anyway.

The point is though, he showed adventure in the reverse fixture, scored 3 goals but got zero points.

Tonight he goes negative and gets a point and could have got 3 if the ref had blown 20 seconds earlier.

I know but there was absolutely no intent to attack,it was just a big hoof to nobody.

Hell even Mousino ended up playing upfront for last 20mins knowing there was no problem in defence. It was like watching the Harlem globetrotters and we are not them, rear assured

Sounded like our goalkeeper played a blinder, only his second match after a long, long injury. What did you think?

I don't defend the tactics and I want Curle ousted in the summer, if you think I want to pay £400 to watch 9-0-1 aimless lump sh*te, there is no chance I want to watch that, we at present under Curle are the closest thing I've seen to a 90's John Beck side............its horrid. I am not against long ball or direct style if it has some sort've purpose or plan to it, 2 of our best sides played a direct style, but this aimless hoof, hoof, hoof and get rid sh*te with massed defence is shocking.

Saying that if I were to defend the timewasting it all depends on situations, you forget when roles were reversed in the conference your side came to Brunton Park and proceeded to help create the worst TV Match probably shown on Sky due to your complete anti-football tactics......it happens when a top side is home to a bottom side, whether that be Premiership or non-league the crap side will waste lots of time and annoy the top side.

I argue the 9 minutes purely because a lot of teams timewaste and normally it leads to 4-5 minutes, not bloody 9.

Yeah but the free kick was so early and took everyone by surprise, we've really no idea what the original game plan at nil-nil might have been. Maybe he did want to play to win but when you're suddenly already winning plans change. When you go 1-0 away in a game where everyone expects you to lose you think fucking hell we're winning, don't let this slip lads. And we almost won, had the ref blown his whistle 10 seconds earlier we would have and everyone would be hailing Curle for knowing how to win ugly instead of having a go at him for letting a lead slip due to his negative approach. If you're gritting relegation and you need to get something from an away trip to the league leaders then free flowing positive football is never going to be the way to do it.

As HG said, we've already tried the opposite approach where we just went for it and hoped to out score the opposition, we tried it against Burton at Brunton Park, but we're getting sucked into relegation, so Curle said we needed to start winning and drawing ugly and so we did.

Also at the end of the day Burton have better players than us, we might have been trying to play expressive attacking football but we're just unable to, especially when you play 20 minutes with 10 men due to injury and then have to sub your most experienced defender.

Having watched the highlights, the referee had a night to forget.

The 16 minutes of stoppage time has been done, but our free kick was soft, and it looks to me like our goalkeeper is impeded for the equaliser.

The other thing from the highlights is that Potts' chance to make it 2-0 in the second half was nowhere near as glorious an opportunity as our commentators made it sound.

I think it is, for me he should score.

Free shot on goal though right on the edge of the box, he definitely could've done better than that.

Ridiculous game... to think we actually led for 94 minutes in total.
More than 94.

88 minutes of normal time.
+ 6 minutes first half stoppage time
+ 8 minutes second half stoppage time before the goal went in.
= 102 minutes we lead for.

Given the circumstances I'm happy with a point as it looked like one of those nights where it just would not go in.

Carlisle won't go down, we will go up so everyone is happy so to speak...

I will say this though. It was one of the best games I have ever been to for entertainment but so agonising for both sets of fans. Was buzzing after for ages. Such a freaky game of football that on any other day would be 7 2. On reflection I'm pleased for Carlisle that they got a point as I don't want a club that big going down. Your fans where a credit.

90 minutes of normal time
+6 minutes of added time 1st half
+8 minutes added time 2nd half
=104 minutes, 102 for which Carlisle lead for.
Another 10 would have been about right.
I think at the very least Albion deserved a draw but full marks to Carlisle.
At one stage 1st half it was 9 a side, you were a player off for around 15 minutes and we didn't have a striker on the pitch. A remarkable game from many angles.http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/carlisle-united/match-reports/1.1205889

Thank you. Hopefully we'll stay up although I do still have my doubts.

Good luck in league 1 next season. It's a fairly big step up, you'll see that. But JFH should be able to attract some decent enough players for you in the summer.
