Yeah Sunderland should have won much more comfortably, Wednesday didn’t really offer anything. Fancy Wednesday to turn it round second leg, think Sunderland will regret last night.

Spoke to a weds fan walking out the ground who was with his young son who said they were shocking and he can’t see them turning it round playing like that and he wants Moore out.
I love that. Wanting the manager sacked after losing 1-0 in the first leg of a playoff semi. Fans eh?

Thought Sunderland were pretty impressive first 70 minutes. They definitely seem to have more about them under Neil than any of the other versions of Sunderland we've seen in League One. Wednesday had a good last 20. I have absolutely no idea who will eventually prevail and I don't mind admitting it. I will watch the second leg with a large bowl of popcorn.

Yet the BBC now lists the Premiership results, the Championship results then the women' super league results before L1

Congratulations Wycombe.

Well defended under a lot of pressure.

Christ, theyve played each other 5 times this season and MK have won 4. Play offs are cruel.

Must be soul destroying for MK fans knowing their entire squad is going to get ripped up. All the loanees will go back, Twine and Darling will be sold. The head coach is already turning heads. Grim.

Ah well, as the song goes, whatever will be, will be. Could have, should have scored more but didn't.

We are utterly shit at playoffs!!

Been linked with us so he can be back with MK Dons in 3 months if he is mad enough to come here.

Very interesting summer ahead for MK.
Intersting is not quite the term I had in mind, more :woot: but what we really don't want is Manning going. Players, even the likes of Twine can be replaced but we are very unlikely to fall on our feet again like we did with replacing Martin with Manning.

He should stay and finish the job he started - not go as he is responsible for the failure as head couch. Lampard should have done the same with derby instead of jumping ship when they lost the play off final.

Really looking forward to tonight's game. Two giants at the level (even though im very partial towards the geordies).

I can see it going all the way to pens.

Should it be regarded as a failure? I for one never expected to end up 3rd in the league. OK, the playoff have benn a failure but they are such a lottery that I'm loath to blame that on Manning.

Other than the relegated clubs, who can be regarded as a failure? Us, Plymouth, maybe Oxford? I would be more inclined to regard Sunderland*, Wednesday* and Ipswich as failures but thats becuase they really shouldn't be down here in league 1.

* Depending on playoff results obviously.

Anyway, whoever loses tonight I shall feel sorry for but by god RTF or Owlstalk is going to epic.

Can't quite work out if you're backing Sunderland (Wearsiders) or Wednesday, because you have a soft spot for Newcastle (Geordies)?
It’s all the north isn’t it? Basically anywhere north of the midlands is just one place. ;-)

Think it’s time for Wednesday to make a change or two. Things just too comfortable for Sunderland

Just seen what MK Dons did with Wycombe's away fans, what a detestable club. Glad they're staying down.

I don't understand what's wrong with that? Try and give yourself every advantage, it clearly didn't work. They have the space though, so why not?

That is a nut punch and half to Wednesday. Pretty lazy defending really.

Scrotey as fuck. If they did it to my club then I'd be raging.

Well there must be it?

Clarke has been a good outlet for Sunderland.

Poor tracking from Sheffield Wednesday.
