jushin liger confirmed for nxt takeover, going to face Tyler breeze. Am I right that this will be his first week appearance?

Should note as well that shinsuke nakamura is in brooklyn the same weekend for ROH event... Potential tryoiut? (Wishful thinking)

I'm actually really looking forward to Battleground tonight. I'm not sure what happens to the IC title match now with Ryback's injury, possibly a number one contenders match or perhaps they'll just cancel the match completely.

They've cancelled it I think. Sounds like he won't be out long though.

Good to hear that he won't be out for long, he's really over at the moment. They'll have to add another match then I suppose because the card, while decent, looks like it'd struggle to fill the time as it is.

Besides the Orton vs Sheamus match that I really can't be assed for (but admittedly could be quite decent) I'm looking forward to that card. Lesnar/Rollins should be incredible, as should Cena/Owens III. Both have potential to be a match of the year. Also, for some reason I can see Reigns and Wyatt working well together and giving us a good match. Hope I'm not wrong there  I also hope that Wyatt shocks everybody and actually wins a fucking PPV match for once... that'd be great, especially if it's over Reigns.

Shame that triple threat has been taken off, because I was actually looking forwards to it... and it's not often I'll say that about a Big Show or Miz match! I can actually see them replacing it with another Rusev/Cesaro match. Or Cesaro in some respect. Hopefully his recent run of superb matches have earned him that spot on the card.

It wasn't as good as I was hoping for but it was decent enough, I won't spoil it for anyone now though.

How good did the Undertaker look there?!!! That is the sort of shape we all want to see him in. Not the frail withered old man look that we saw against Lesnar just over a year ago. Is that a heel turn as well? The facial expressions all seemed a bit like he wanted the crowd to boo him.

I loved the ending, always great to see Undertaker and he was heeling it up to boot, that kick in the balls!! Very interested for Raw and hopefully a Taker promo with reasoning as to why hes waited to now to exact his revenge. I hope Taker becomes more "human" American Badass style, that the loss has haunted him, he came back last year to prove he could still do it at Wrestlemania and has been training hard since then and now the time was right. Disappointed in Cena winning, really thought Owens would win it and the match was effectively a repeat of their last 2 matches. We might now get Owens/Joe maybe? Not sure whos next for Cena. I enjoyed Wyatt/Reigns and Orton/Sheamus more than I thought I would, both were good matches, not particularly enthralled at Wyatt and Harper beatdowns upcoming or a likely ta math with Ambrose and Reigns, Ambrose needs to turn heel soon. The divas stuff was great which hopefully continues.

I loved the Cena / Owens match from a pure wrestling point of view, although one thing that griped me was the amount of huge moves that only got 2 counts. Finishers weren't protected well at all. That spinning back breaker off the top rope from Owens is absolutely killer and shouldn't be a secondary move. Same with Cena's AA off the top rope. Minor gripe though, absolutely loved the match itself. Cena winning though. Meh. Trying not to hate too much and just look at the match itself, but these Cena 'lose a small match, win everything else' feuds only have 1 person coming out smelling the roses and that's Cena. The only way this result works is if Owens wins the belt at Summerslam, but it'll probably be a multi man title match where Cena isn't pinned and therefore protected. Owens is honestly one of the best talents around right now. Great on the mic, great in the ring.

Owens vs Cena was good but it was the exact same match as the proir two with a top rope AA thrown in. You couldn't help but be disappointed with Cena retaining but I think it's the best decision moving on.

I thought the Reigns vs Wyatt match was the MOTN, hopefully the feud will pick up now it's expanding beyond those two.

I couldn't be more underwhelmed at the drunk step dad facing Lesnar again.

That was brilliant. Every match was good.

Cena winning was a dissapointment though.

Is undertaker back properly now? Will be interesting to see what they do with Lesnar

Last year's match with Undertaker and Brock was bad. You could hear a pin drop the entire match and only when Brock won...the emotion and hysteria came out. I think a lot of that had to do with people just expecting the Taker win.

This time with Undertaker being in better shape...Lesnar being unbelievably over since then...I think the rematch will grip the audience. It's not at Wrestlemania but can Taker lose twice to Brock? Brock would be the favourite heading in but could Taker pull out the win? I think this would get more interest during the match.

Cena Owens was just moronic. Owens just lost the NXT title and now he's lost to Cena twice in a row and he tapped out?!?! Would have made sense if Cena won by Owens passing out to the STF. Would have protected Owens more and made him look stronger.

Interesting to see what Rollins and Cena end up doing at Summerslam. Reigns and Brock will be busy. Ambrose and Orton has already been done....So maybe Sting??

Heel Taker will be interesting, if he can get the crowd to boo him that is!

Hopefully he comes out on Raw tonight and insults every person in the crowds mother.

We're supposed to expect that Lesner who destroys Cena, Rollins and Reigns is going to be beaten by a grandad that should have retired 2 years ago?? It's absolutely wank booking. The Undertaker was a great performer in the past and one of the best in the business. Now It's like they're trying to flog a dead horse. It was so obvious that Lesner just stood there and watched the Undertaker kick him in the nuts and just allow him to choke slam him etc.

For me I just don't see the point of another boring match between these two that's only happening plainly for nostalgic reasons.

There's plenty of other superstars that could have faced Brock if you didn't want him in the title picture. Cesaro/Owens to name two.

Wyatt Family vs Ambrose, Reigns and Sting is my bet.

Who the hell is Rollins defending against at Summerslam? I thought he'd face HHH, but then I thought he was losing the belt. Surely they won't do that for the title.

Even if they wanted a headline match for Lesnar, he's never faced Randy Orton.

Thought that was a pretty great PPV.

Sheamus vs Orton could have sucked but was actually pretty decent, and the same goes for Reigns vs Wyatt. I was actually very glad to see Harper show up, I really do think that he's one of the most under rated people on the roster and hopefully this means he'll get more a spotlight... since he left Bray, about all he's done is appear in the odd match or so and give a brilliant performance on the rare occasions he is allowed to shine.

Also, how refreshing was it to see Charlotte and Sasha Banks on a WWE PPV? The womens division right now is the best it's been in over a decade, though that isn't saying all that much.

As for Cena/Owens, great match, and I guess I don't mind that Cena won all that much. Yes, Owens lost, but as soon as he kicked out of that 3rd AA (off of the top rope, none the less), he was going to come out of that match looking like a boss no matter which way it went. Plus it means we get more Cena US open challenges matches on Raw, which is more often than not the highlight of Raw these days, so I'm at least glad to see that continue.

Lesnar vs Rollins was great to watch while it lasted, though it did seem incredibly short... Taker showing up had me split down the middle. On the one hand, I was pissed to see the match end like it did. On the other hand, OMFGTHEUNDERTAKERISAWESOMEFUCKYEAH.

So we're gonna get Takers retribution match finally. Yeah, their last match sucked, but I still think that the story revolving around it all is interesting enough to get me excited to see it. And the sheer novelty of seeing Taker at a PPV other than WM will be an oddity in itself!

Losing the NXT title and tapping out to Cena inside a month? I fear for Owens after that as WWE has great history of f*****g up good talent when it's hot. I hope I'm wrong but I see him stuck in the midcard wrestling Bray Wyatt in 6 months time.

As for taker it was a shame to see the main event given 11-12 minutes when Orton and Sheamus took me ages to fast forward through. He looked well but when he was trying to pick Brock up he didn't look steady on his feet and I can't see him having much chance of pulling in the negative reaction. Everybody says he and sting are too old to face each other but that's the point. It's not believable that he can compete with Brock so you may as well put him in with someone who's finished and let them compete on a level playing field.

I agree that Owens shouldn't have tapped - Kopite's idea of having Owens pass out would have been much better I think. Either way though I expect to see Owens win clean over Cena at SummerSlam and push on from there.

From a booking point of view, bringing back Taker to feud with Brock makes a lot of sense.

They like to build Summerslam around a big marquee match and they really didn’t have too many other options. Brock Vs Cena has happened too many times in the last 12 months for another match to matter. Lesnar Vs Rollins isn’t big enough. Lesnar Vs Reigns is probably one for later because Reigns would need another uber-strong push going into it. Too early for Lesnar Vs Owens. A surprise Taker Vs Brock rematch is probably the biggest draw at this point. No one thought they’d go back to that feud after what happened to Taker (injury wise) last time, so there’s some surprise and intrigue about it.

Also, assuming his new contract involves a similar schedule to his previous one, Brock will be away for most of late August to early January, so it makes sense to tie him up in a feud with another guy who can appear sporadically. The “revenge for the streak” Vs “revenge for costing me the title” stuff writes itself, too.

On the less positive side, I think it’s borderline madness to put someone as fragile as Taker back in the ring with someone as reckless as Brock, but that kind of adds to the intrigue. How the hell do you lay this one out? And who goes over? Does Taker get his win back? Does Brock go over him again? If Taker gets the win, do you have a decider somewhere down the line?

Also not sure what we can realistically expect from this in terms of match quality. Their last one was terrible, but the early concussion ruined it. Easy to imagine them having a better match. Also very easy to imagine a repeat.

So, yeah, mixed thoughts. Think the product needed this, though.

I could understand if he looked like shit but this is the best he's looked in a while. If they're ever going to have the match, whilst he's in this condition is the time.

Cena staying Champion isn't as bad as some people are making out. His open challenge is the best thing that has happened to his character in a long time, he is putting on some wrestling clinics lately.

The lead up to the match might be pretty entertaining but I guarantee that the match at SS will be awful. The storyline is there yes, the wrestlers aren't.

I think it's pretty unfair to say that there wrestlers aren't...

Lesnar has had one bad match since he's been back, and yeah ok, that was against The Undertaker. The majority of his matches though have ranged from good to match of the year candidates.

And Taker... yes, his match with Lesnar sucked, and his match with Wyatt was simply "ok", but it wasn't that long ago he was having great matches with CM Punk and Triple H. Age has sure slowed him down, but the man can still put on a show.
