Statistically, Lloris is excellent actually. But he happens to play behind a crap defence and therefore faces more shots and concedes more goals. The only keepers who've faced more shots on target are Rob Green, Adrian and Tom Heaton, which goes to show just how vulnerable Spurs are at the back. Though I'd tend to agree he's probably just behind the best in terms of ability.

Looking at some keeper stats now and it appears not a single penalty has been saved this season. That can't be right, can it?

I'd have thought Guzan would have been high on that one! Then again, the defence ain't bad, it's the attack that's our issue.

His got 5 assists all season which makes him joint 22nd on par with Chadli and Chris Brunt.. Assists were the only thing anyone could claim on last year to disguise his lack of quality, this year he doesn't even have assists. Cazorla 10x the player Ozil is

He was injured for over 3 months of this season and has only played 15 games. There's no need to 'disguise his lack of quality'. His quality is there for all to see,and has been for quite some time. Some are just too ignorant to see it, despite his career numbers and honours suggesting those people are utterly clueless. It's almost as if they can't think for themselves and are just parroting whatever the media say

He's only started 14 games in the league this season. Pro rata only Cesc and Di Maria (I think) have a better assist/game ratio. Interestingly for somebody who barely ever shoots he's got more goals than both in fewer games too.

Ozil isn't lazy. He has a languid demeanor but he has consistently come up top for Arsenal for ground covered this season, even higher than Sanchez who is considered the exact opposite. He doesn't get stuck into tackles but is rarely out of position defensively and always tracks back. People need to stop reeling off the same old tired clichés, it doesn't help that Scholes, Owen, Murphy and even Neville continue to spout the same rubbish about him.

He's the king of the second assist, too. HIs diagonal pass for Ramsey to create the isolation of Bellerin vs. Moreno for the opener last weekend was excellent.
