Helps if you label what things mean..... is that 90% chance to go down? 90% we get a bad ref decision? 90% chance Hurst brings on a defensive player for an attacker......
Are we the red bit at the top? Looks like we're doing well to me? Must be the table of HORRENDOUS refereeing decisions.

no idea, I assume so, not sure what the numbers at the bottom are either, think they might be dates after the @ but before the @ no idea.

If we lose on Saturday to Colchester then I truly think we are doomed. It will not be mathematically certain, that comes in a couple of weeks; but if we can't manage to put them to bed with the run they are on, we don't deserve to stay up.

That's what I reckon too. I'm convinced that Barrow will win at Walsall so Grimsby have got to beat Col U. A draw will (most likely) prove to be not enough in the end.

I think our team of players are capable of getting out of this, we saw that on Tuesday. My issue is Hurst has to switch his own mentality, no team ever dragged themselves out of a relegation battle by playing for draws. Saturday is huge, I really think we’re capable of winning but it’ll be a genuine nail in the coffin if we don’t, especially given the fixtures we have coming up.

i don't think i've ever seen 1 result put so many different club forums into Meltdown;-
Grimsby, Southend, Port Vale and Walsall forums are all convinced their clubs are getting relegated.

Just looked at the table to see how it affected it, and Port Vale are in bigger trouble than most of us who weren't Port Vale fans realised. Still a six point cushion on Southend, who have taken five games to close the gap by three, so they can still get dragged into it, but slowly.

Those two Barrow wins have bridged the gap between three clubs looking adrift and other clubs hovering above danger but since Barrow aren't in the relegation zone any more then it's more about them boosting their own chances of survival than it is about dragging other clubs into it.

Grimsby don't look like winning their games in hand (which wouldn't get them out of the botom two in any case) and they also have the comparative disadvantage of having already played the division's most out-of-form club twice whereas the clubs above them still have at least three points coming their way.

It changes quickly. A surprise win today at home and Southend losing with Colchester dropping points at Grimsby would with GD have us effectively 10 clear and above Walsall and Colchester so it’s a situation with twists and turns... flip side an expected loss and Southend win and we are in the brown stuff effectively 4 clear so have to see.

In fairness we’ve had 4 of the promotion contenders in the 5 games so after today we have Newport who have been modest lately at home and then a huge must win at Colchester and a mid table Crawley away... they are the games we need to see progress in, Worrall, Manny and Amoo back now should improve things and Pope and Montano both close.

It’s up to us really, need a couple of quick wins and we will be almost there and pressure off. Big week after today really.

The Barrow result doesn’t change a lot as they had games in hand and are in the better form, more focus is on Southend really.

5 point gap between us and Southend though essentially it’s really six with our goal difference. Neither team can score right now save for us getting two consolation efforts at Cheltenham. We have a game that is close to must win territory at Colchester next weekend and could do with something against Newport too.

Not sure how I want this Grimsby and Colchester game to go, maybe a draw would be best.

A Barrow win and Vale point in mid-week and it might start being over for us.

Although we comfortably beat them at home, I think it's a big ask for us to get three points at Cheltenham. A point would be great, but this one feels a bit of a free hit.

We’ve got to beat Colchester and hopefully get something at Home on Tuesday to make relegation feel less likely. If we can end next week above Colchester and Walsall who are nose diving in a similar vein to us then we have a better chance.

Just frustrating though as we’ve had 4 of the top sides in the last 5, comfortable against 3 of the top sides but fell to one chance despite matching or being the better side and absolutely walloped Oldham for 90 minutes so it’s been points there for the taking.

Defence which was the problem now looks very good but we’ve lost attacking threat now which wasn’t a problem!

Pope should be back in a week or so hopefully he can drag us through again. At least being a Vale legend and of course boyhood Valiant means he will be everything into it rather than stroll around like Theo fucking Robinson today.

0-0, we couldn't beat a shitty Colchester side devoid of confidence and ideas. Two crap teams and the right result!

I hate it when I can't even defend my own team, wind didn't help either side, it just highlighted their inadequacies and shittiness.

That win for us tonight gives a little breathing space over the bottom two. If can get a result at Colchester then that should almost do it for us. In truth a draw wouldn't be the worst for both clubs not that I want to see us going in with that mindset, that would just be begging for trouble. Sooner we get to 40 points the better.

Think Barrow looking good to escape trouble now with a big win at Cheltenham.

I think 5-6 points with our GD would do it now, 44 would need Southend to win 5 of 11 or 4 wins and 3 draws from 11. Win Saturday and we can feel we are close, opening up a gap on Colchester who have a horrific run in would be good too.

Grimsby (R) are gone and Barrow are going to be fine I'd think. If I was Southend, I'd be focusing on us, Port Vale and Walsall.

For us, the one decisive game we have left now really I would think is Southend at home, but it's not for another month so it will hopefully be meaningless by then anyway. If that was next up, I'd think a win would pretty much see us home.

We’ve got some big ones but all away, Colchester, Barrow and Grimsby so win 2 of those it’s job done. Hopefully now we’ve played most of the top sides in recent weeks we will get some points with our improvement against the mid table sides. Only Exeter left I think who are up there.

Need to really push on now, Saturday is absolutely massive, win that and we go to Crawley a ground we have a ridiculously good record at.

Big players coming back is key, Wozza got his 11th assist tonight (not sure if he will get one for the second goal too?) and we’ve looked a completely different outfit with him, add in Oyeleke got an hour in and looked good and Montano got 90 and it’s looking much more positive.

Just the Pope to come back now... wouldn’t surprise me if he gets in the team at the weekend out of nowhere with Clarke’s secretive injury news! No one knew Monty was going to be back tonight.

Keep them fit we will be more than fine.

I think it goes without saying that the next week from Saturday to Saturday is the biggest week in our clubs history. Three games and a chance to rescue ourselves. Or, lose and be all but relegated. After the final game we will have 8 games left. Being 2 games back at that point would likely start to spell the end. Currently we're on 30 points, Barrow are on 35, Colchester and Vale 38 and Walsall 39. The fixtures are;

Saturday 20th March
Scunthorpe v Southend
Barrow v Crawley
Colchester v Port Vale
Bolton v Walsall

Tuesday 23rd March
Barrow v Grimsby
Southend v Walsall
Colchester v Tranmere

Saturday 27th March
Harrogate v Southend
Grimsby v Walsall
Stevenage v Barrow
Crawley v Port Vale
Colchester v Bradford

Best could end up either 4 points clear of Barrow in the best case or 14 behind in the absolute worst case.

I can see Barrow getting 6 points, Colchester 3, Vale 1 and Walsall 3. It's going to be imperative I feel to get at least 6 points

We also have Southend to play - penultimate game of the season. I hope there's nothing riding on the match by then!

I think us, Walsall, Colchester and Port Vale can all be viewed at being more or less the same position (our games in hand and goal difference stand us in good stead) - only takes one of you lot to have a couple of wins in the next week and you're looking safe again, but equally a poor result for us against Crawley and Grimsby and all of a sudden we'll look doomed.

Today's the first time I've looked at the table and thought we're more likely than Southend to stay up.

It does seem to me if there is going to be a dramatic slide Walsall are showing all the signs right now. Seem to be sleepwalking down the table with an inexperienced manager who only seems to have got the job as he impressed in a mock interview. As we have found once you’re on that spiral it is hard to get out of it.

Could of course still be us but the performances have been on an uptick for a few games now despite what some Vale fans particularly on social media would have you believe. Keep that going and I think we will be ok.

Yeah Clarke has us defending well and organised, yesterday with Manny and Monty back we had that extra quality going forward that has been missing. We’d had some unlucky defeats too, Bolton, Salford and Cambridge we lost 1-0 but were games that could of gone either way and we’d absolutely battered Oldham and only got a point.

Nice to get that winning feeling back and hopefully the confidence will start to return with the big players.

Walsall do look in trouble, 2 wins since December (both v us ironically!) sold Adebayo and Jules, Colchester have a nasty run in though, they’ve got to go through the fixtures like we just have done.

Hopefully for us now the Tuesdays are done bar the one in mid April we can finally get some time
for Clarke to work with the players and the injuries don’t return to the likes of Woz and Manny.

The past few of our games have been 'must win' but the next two really are no more fucking about must win.
V Scunthorpe
V Walsall

Vale hopefully you do the business against Colchester I think they're much more 'catchable' than you.

Get to fuck Cheltenham. Those cunts never do us any favours. Fair play to Barrow though, you're looking good. Glad you'll get a season with people at matches in League Two.

It was over for us without a ball even being kicked when it became clear Ron had no intention of replacing Sol with any kind of urgency and also really didn't give any fucks about paying HMRC debt so we had to spend 15 games or so playing 18 year olds.
That we've given ourselves a chance is a mammoth effort, sadly we don't score goals and for most of the game we don't even try to score goals.
I look at our team and we remain as much a mess on the field as we are off it, apart from the back 4 of course, I don't know who's been training them but they should be coach of the year.
