Big game in the league one title race which ever way you look at it.
Both sides are coming off a defeat and by their standards this season a disappointing run.
A difficult game to predict and I expect it to be close but hoping we will sneak it.
Always had a soft spot for the Saddlers as I lived in Wednesfield up to the age of 9 or 10 and if Wolves were away I often used to go to the old Fellows park to watch them.
Both clubs have probably surpassed their fans expectations undoubtably this season, a win for the Brewers would open up a 9 point gap with 14 to play, a win for the Saddlers would bring them to within 3 points of Albion. Defeat for Albion would reduce their lead at the top and defeat for Walsall would make it much harder for them to get an automatic spot. A draw and its status quo between the two clubs but will probably benefit Wigan and Gillingham.
Its easy to work out then whats at stake on Saturday.
Have a safe journey to and from the game Saddlers fans, I hope we see a great game but I hope you go home defeated but that we both get promotion !
That will probably upset Wigan and Gills fans but from my point of view it would be great to have this local derby in the championship next season !
COME ON YOU BBBBBRRRREEEEWWWW----EEEERRRSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
