They are all teaming up together lately I’ve noticed. Maybe all of them could form one Proper Club between them?

I've observed fans of the following clubs having a dig so let's see..

Solihull FL years 0
Yeovil FL years 16
Barnet FL years 19
FC Halifax FL years 0
Darlington 1883 Locomotive FC FL years 0
Yaxley (!?) whatever that is? Anyone out there?

Total = 35 years

35 eh? less than half the years spent in the FL than the lowest current Real Brother so the answer to your question is...NO THEY CAN'T.

Was anyone representing Olympic Wrexham 1884 having a dig? No. In which case, Real Brother Soup Ladle is correct with his observation. :hypo:

From the OP -

'Phoenix clubs are exempt (but but we're not a phoenix club!!) Oohhh yes you are. There is an affiliate league for those deserving of respect but can't enter this for many years. Gutted much? You should be'.

From Wrexham's Historical kits page -

Wrexham 1864-1883, Club wound up 1883
Re-formed as Wrexham Olympic 1883
Renamed Wrexham 1886

No phoenix clubs you said Brother Soup? Ahahahahahaha.

Bye bye Wrecsam and Master Debator, so sorry to see you go...….

In the meantime I'm having a look at Pools' wiki page, and have already stumbled upon this gem in only the second paragraph -

'The club's honours include the FA Amateur Cup won in 1904–05 by West Hartlepool F.C., who were dissolved in 1910'

Don't tell me the (real) brotherhood will be losing another club today besides the Welsh cheaters?

We've been here before. The club was formed in 1908. West Hartlepool (a club preceding us i.e we didn't exist at that time) went bust and the founders bought the assets. So Vanni, a phoenix club it is not. The club you see today is the same one albeit the S was dropped in the 60s.

As for Wrexham, I'm not privy to their history so maybe they can help you out with that. But as Wrexham are a founding member and have spent the vast majority of their history in the league system, there will be no challenge to their membership...

I still don't get it though. Why is a Cambridge Utd supporter so interested in what is happening in the Real Brotherhood?

And regardless of the Brotherhood's insignificant and, quite amusingly, vain efforts to belittle Real Brotherhood members, we all know who we are and where we belong in the hierarchy.

Just sayin'.

We've been here before and will keep coming back, let's see how you like it. You're claiming the history of the former club, which makes you either a continuation of the former club or a phoenix club. Which is it? :woot:

Well, we did spend 9 years down here (though it could've been only the three or four years if it weren't for two particular sides from the South West....:ffs:) so I still do keep an eye out on my less fortunate brothers.

Another thing is that Halifax have been sorta my second team for years now but I'm not a 2CW by any stretch of the imagination, they're just a side that I want to do well is all. It all started when I discovered at a young age that my dad always kept a look out for Sheff Wed's match results, so at the time I thought that everybody is supposed to have a Yorkshire club as a 2nd team so to speak. So I chose Halfax, when I could've gone for say Leeds or the Blades instead ffs!

Finally, I trust you all know that this is all just bantz, and I'm not being serious. You can relax now Brother Soup ;)

It's a messageboard, of course it's just banter :)

But the Real Brotherhood will live on. In fact, we've never been stronger.

Finally, shout out to Seventyseven who is a fine example of a Real Brotherhood disciple. Kudos, bruv!

We bought the assets of Darlington FC in 2012 and exited administration without a CVA agreed. As did Leeds, Bournemouth and Luton in previous seasons. Only they faced massive points deductions and we were "treated" as a new club by the FA.

Now you are telling me that Pools did the same and bought the assets of West Hartlepool? Well if we're a phoenix then you are as well!

Or are you applying the "it was over 100 years ago, therefore doesn't count" rule?

Damn right Brother, these Wrexham and Pools wankers are standing in quicksand. It's a shame they feel they have to be like this because I love Wrexham. :db:

Seventyseven - 'what's a Cambridge fan doing here?'
Masterdebator - 'yeah, he's incredibly weird'

Yawn.

Right, now that's out of the way, here's a very quick update. Too early for predicting the winner, although Stockport and Halifax are looking good. West Hartlepool FC are up there as well, with just the one defeat so far (and a harsh one at that) while only a fool would rule out OIympic at this stage, unless they're 'reffed out' whatever the fcuk that means.

Aldershot - Halifax H 1-1, Torquay A 0-2
Barrow - Chesterfield A 2-2, Halifax H 1-2, Stockport A 2-3, Wrexham A 1-2 Hartlepools H 0-1
Chesterfield - Barrow H 2-2, Stockport A 0-2 Halifax H 2-3
Halifax Town - Aldershot A 1-1, Barrow A 2-1, Hartlepools H 2-0, Wrexham A 0-1 Chesterfield A 3-2
Hartlepools - Halifax A 0-2, Wrexham H 4-2, Barrow A 1-0, Torquay A 2-1
Notts Co - Stockport H 1-1, Wrexham H 1-1
Stockport - Barrow H 3-2, Chesterfield H 2-0, Notts A 1-1 Wrexham A 2-1
Torquay - Aldershot H 2-0, Hartlepools H 1-2
Wrexham - Barrow H 2-1, Halifax H 1-0, Hartlepools A 2-4,
Notts Co A 1-1, Stockport H 1-2

Table -

Stockport County - (4) 10
Halifax Town - (5) 10
West Hartlepool - (4) 9
Olympic Wrexham - (5) 7
Torquay United - (2) 3
Notts County - (2) 2
Aldershot - (2) 1

No. It was a seperate club. West Hartlepool went bust in 1910, we were formed in 1908.

Vanni just give it up mate, no ones listening. :told:

Just realised, the AFC Brotherhood League is obsolete as it goes against B2TMeth's rules of the no competition between "brothers"

Quite simply their league is null & void.

That's the last I'll say on it.

Annnnnd... to paraphrase B2TMeth Head, on these matters I will only engage with Real Brothers from the league of great and historic football league clubs. If tinpotters wish to address me directly they'll have to ask a Real Brother to make a submission on their behalf.

I think Vanni has done a wonderful job working out the results and the table.

But....

....he got it so wrong. So, being one of those people (aka lazy fucker) who would rather make up football tables than do some actual work whilst being paid to work, I have made a few alterations and herewith present you with the correct format for the table(s)*

TABLE.jpg

*I'm shite at maths so the REAL table might need some rejigging. As for the 'AFC' table... I just really couldn't be arsed. Plus, some of us have work to do.

Edited to add: Left Darlington off because Quakerz gets on my tits
