We've played all 6 Brothers now and not won a single one. Extremely brotherly of us but any chance of a win soon?

What are you doing!? you are meant to draw these games!

Aren't you?
To be fair they tried their best yesterday, it was a most brotherly effort by both teams, the press were writing the headlines -"the non-aggression pact of Cleethorpes", until Crookes, McKeown and Rodrigues combined to feck it up in the last minute...

Yes. The first half was reminiscent of the Disgrace of Gijon back in ‘82. Word has it that the NL is now considered making all brotherhood match ups kick off at 3pm on the same Saturdays.

Boreham Wood are top of the league. We should all be taking a points deduction for that.

Saturday's RB results saw previous Table Topping Grimsby slip down to third as their very UN-Brotherly opponents went against all that is good about the beautiful game and snatched an undeserved 1-0 victory to move them to top spot.

Meanwhile, up in sunny North Wales, the hosts left it very late to do the Real Brotherly thing and let the Beleaguered Gulls share the spoils. Although the result didn't help Wrexham's position in the table, they did help fellow Real Brothers Torquay move into 2nd spot.

Both Torquay and Wrexham should be proud of their form this season especially the Red Dragoons who have shared the spoils with no less than 4 (yes, F O U R) Real Brothers so far this season. Yes, we can all go and win against (and lose against) the tinpotters of this world, but when it comes to the Real Brotherhood we should all be looking out for each other and not doing what Notts did to Grimsby.

You really do have a valid point Chief... I think at the end of the season any Real Brother who finishes below Borehamwood or FC Halifax should be deleted at least 3 points.

If Borehamwood or FC Halifax finish top we should all be handed 13 points deductions and give Scunthorpe and Mansfield all sorts of special privileges next season...

Our doubleheader against FC Halifax at Christmas is really important for the credibility of all of us...

May as well give us -6 already then. How many points off for finishing below Weymouth and Wealdstone?

Updated results and table. I've checked it through but no doubt pedants like Chief et al will say it's bloody wrong!

Grimsby emulate the other League table that no-one cares about by storming to the top - albeit on goal difference.

Wrexham, despite all the money and fame, continue to look after a few of the less-fortunate with 3 draws out of their first 5 matches.

Southend, meanwhile, remain 'Root'ed to the bottom of the table.

There could be a few changes to the table come 4:45 on Saturday as Table Topping(TM) Grimsby take on Notts who could take over top spot with a win at Blunder Park (which is more likely than the Beleaguered Gulls(TM) spoiling the party for the Z-listers at the Racehorse).
This may have already been agreed by the committee but why is it two points for a draw?

Because it is the most Brotherly result possible. It's about respect.

Only time another result is acceptable is late on in a season where a Brother agrees to let another win in order to secure a playoff place/promotion, denying an evil tinpotter in the process.

I think we should award something to Notts County for getting a draw away at the EVIL.

Grimsby need their 1-0 win last Friday against us acknowledged. We now only have Notts County left to be brotherly too now.......

'Tis the season to be giving. Not this weekend though. Out of the 3 RB matches played at the weekend, not one RB kept to the true spirit of the game.

Chesterfield's Tshimanga spoiling the day for the fish lovers at Blunder Park with an easy tap-in (which, I might add, I could've even got that one!). The win, however, moves the Jessies up to mid-table just one point below their hosts who drop down to 3rd.

Then over at Meadowlark Lane, Sarrfend carried on their fantastic form - scoring after just 10 minutes to send the army of shrimps into raptures ('we've only gone an' fekkin scored, me ol' cocker' was possibly overhead somewhere in the away contingent)... only to let the lace-makers equalise 20-odd minutes later. So that should've stayed at that... 1-1 - an ideal RB result... but, no, Lo-and-behold the pie-eating-lace-makers go and add another 3 to their tally with Kyle 'I wanna knoooo-ooow why you're such a c**t' CameronTM most probably cheating to get the 4th two minutes from time. The result, despite being very un-brotherly, moves Notts up to top spot.

Down on the English Riviera, The Mad Hatters (previously unbeaten in their last 5 matches, scoring 16 goals in the process) arrived armed with buckets and spades ready to enjoy a party down on Torre Abbey Sands after annihilating the Beleagured Gulls on their home turf... no party this time though, as the Now-Not-So-Beleaguered Yellow Army were in full voice, witnessing the utter destruction of Elon Rusk's Elite Eleven. Yes, the visitors hit the woodwork (twice I believe), but they simply couldn't find the back of the onion bag to draw level (never could understand that saying... were onions really that big back in the day?)....The Gulls running out 2-1 winners to keep them 2nd in the RB Table.

We probably deserve a points deduction for Cameron’s haircut at this point tbh.

Duly noted. If you finish top by one point at the end of the RB season, Notts will be deducted two - just for the fact that you have the obnoxious Cameron in your team.

I think we deserve a bonus for allowing Chesterfield to remain above Borehamwood in the other league.

If it helps the pain, he’s been our best signing of the summer by miles, is a great captain and we’ve not lost a game yet with him in the team. Terrible haircut, though.

Ahem, Matty Palmer.

Palmer is great and we’re lucky to have him (and somehow forgot we only signed him in the summer, hence the ‘by miles’), but Cameron has become even more important to us IMO, got that edge that we need as quite a nice, pretty team otherwise. We’ve largely fallen apart when he’s not been available, although I guess we’ve not had to do without MP at all yet.

Only one RB game over the Xmas break... The Lacemakers trouncing The Leekmen 3-1. No movement in the table, but the Lacemakers stretch their lead at the top to 4 points.

Just goes to prove that all this Hollywood money malarky can bring you recognition but not the points.

We’d smash this tinpot league if we didn’t have to play all of the tinpot teams as well.

Yes, but the four you've played in here have all been at home to Southend according to my notes.
