Also bought some Ardbeg. Thank heavens for that stuff. Got it floating around in my mouth right now and it's like drinking an ancient treasure chest from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

It's superb stuff isn't it, so full of flavour and with that delicious warm peat character coming through also, it makes for a wonderful malt moment (to borrow from one of Ralfy.com's vids! ). A friend of mine who is a whisky blogger has a sample of the new Ardbeg Dark Cove just released and has offered me a dram next time I see him; want to try it so much but not willing to fork out near £100 a bottle on it!

Damnit, got me wanting to have a dram now; I am banning myself for whisky for a week from yesterday while I try and get back on a diet! Whats a guy to do!?!
