True but do they know how much the club will lose when they go down?

Marketing deals won't be so lucrative.

Shame Andy Villa isn't still about the cock womble, told him Villa were fucked years ago.

Looking forward to my trip to Villa Park next season already.

Well it's clearly curtains for Villa which could also mean we are stuck with Lerner who has lost interest but now wont be able to get hisprice for the club. I don't see us coming back any time soon with him as chairman!

I reckon he'll cut ties when we're relegated and just drop the price, no one is paying £200m for a championship club.

GENERAL Charles Krulak says Aston Villa will summon the spirit of the US Marines to escape the drop.

The rock-bottom Midlands outfit are marooned on eight points — a whopping 11 adrift of safety.

And they have had more managers than wins this season!

Tim Sherwood at least guided Villa to a 1-0 victory at Bournemouth on the opening day of the Premier League season.

Following Sherwood’s sacking, new boss Remi Garde has picked up just four points from nine games.

It's quite the source of embarrassment really that we're the ones Villa beat

Hopefully we can beat Swansea and Newcastle just to maintain that healthy gap between us and the bottom 3.

Not a good week for the likes of Swansea, Norwich and Bournemouth with them all losing and the bottom three picking up points. Swansea look like they're going down.

Perhaps you will add to this thread when you reach 40 eh? Couldn't even beat Newcastle from 2-0 up

Results tonight could have been much worse for us, would have taken that at 8pm earlier.

If we lose Defoe we're done. Out of our five wins, played ten men three times, were gifted a goal against Palace the other was against Villa and it wasn't convincing. That's a worry.

man we really didn't need those refereeing decisions last night. we're fucked. the board are responsible, sacking monk without a replacement, fucking madness. they've essentially forced a 62 year old club legend to try and get out outta the shit. shameful.

What? You mean like they did when Rodgers left with Monk?

Indeed i will :) It's just a bit of fun, no need to be so serious

I'm sure everyone at Old Trafford will be very relieved when the club reaches the magical 40 point mark ;)

Oh good not just me then.
Looks like the board has taken a massive punt on whoever's in charge. Losing at home to Sunderland can't be good.

It's as predictable as rainy days in England, PDS...

EDIT: If all goes well today (which it won't, as it'll take a brilliant fucking comeback win for West Ham and for us to win again) we'll be within 5 points of safety.

I'm prepared for today.
If we win I'll obviously be a happy bunny. And if we lose I win 60 quid
