Good win for Millwall. Makes it very close. Looking at fixtures remaining I can see Millwall getting one more point, us getting three deducted and staying up on goal difference (assuming we get nowt else also)

Hard to say how many we'll get. We were terrible last night, but unlike recent months we were aggressive and competed for absolutely everything. Some of our opponents won't have anything to play for so its hard to tell whether they'll be either on their holidays or playing with a bit of freedom. Very hard to estimate our final points total at the moment. Certainly if you don't get 3 points deducted, I think its already all over (likewise if you were to win tonight).

If Rotherham win tonight are Wigan relegated?

Not quite.

They will be 9 points behind Fulham with 3 to play, seeing as Rotherham are playing Fulham it would probably mean Wigan have a better GD too.

Plus Rotherham are likely to be getting a points deduction anyway.

I would have thought if Rotherham we're going to get a points deduction, it would have happened already? I think they should, but confused about the delay

I think we have to just accept those points are gone and make that mental adjustment when looking at the possibilities. I predicted a point last night so I should be happy, if it wasn't for the dominance we had or the fact that McCormack blatantly hand balled and got away with it for the equaliser. I see us losing v Norwich and Leeds, so we must get a win against Reading unless Millwall fail to win any more games.

Wigan will be relegated today if they don't win.

Then un-relegated if Rotherham get a points deduction (surely that has to be sorted out soon?)

Then relegated again because they probably won't get 4+ points from Wolves and Brentford.

We can relegate Wigan on their own patch next Saturday with Leon Clarke in their squad. Sod the playoffs that's all I care about, well worth the 25 quid for a ticket

Why didn't they?

Well Wigan have a lot to do, and with Charlton and Blackpool already relegated, we should be safe even with the deduction.

Oh wait, for some reason I thought Charlton hadn't won another game since mid January, when in reality looking at the table, they're actually 10th.

Yeah, turns out we're a better side then we were showing for those 3 months and should piss this division next season.

As interesting as your reply was, it still doesn't answer my question as to why Rotherham didn't have anything to play for before yesterday?

Nice to have it confirmed safety but I never felt that we were really in the relegation mix despite only being a few positions above the line for most of 2015.

The stats on Bet365 showed Wall to be the more attacking but Gestede and Rhodes proving deadly once again.

Effectively safe as of this evening also. Depressing just how intently I was following that result tonight, given that we should have secured safety weeks ago, but oh well.

Fat lady warming up in the wings now. Would need 4 points minimum from Derby and Wolves I think. Unlikely I should think.

A Rotherham win on Tuesday sees them safe, a draw puts Wigan down

Rotherham will turn us over on Tuesday night and that will be the end of it.

Reading could have had a huge say on the promotion race and relegation fight this season but they seem to be rolling over for everybody since their cup run. Looking at the talent they possess as a squad, it really is a shame.

We've been rolling over for everyone all season, bar the odd performance. So it's been pretty fair.

Though we've given Watford and Bournemouth 6 points, Middlesbrough 1 and Norwich 0.. which won't be far off their differences in points next week.
