11-11. Baird just gets down and plays the shots straightaway, doesn't overthink it. Can't help but feel ultimately it'll go against him here as Selby will go into pure slow, grinding mode now.

I've dipped in and out of the Trump v Ding match and it's highlighting why Trump hasn't won as much as he should have by now. He's not a very good match player. Has all the skill but not the brain and makes the wrong choice too often. As soon as his long potting deserts him, he looks average.

Early days mind.

Who on earth thought Ebdon would be a good addition to the commentary team? You don't have to have EVERY SINGLE veteran player on, less is more. Last night he was screaming "what a shot!" as Baird potted an admittedly good ball into the centre but then found himself immediately snookered on his next ball.

I guess they can't have Hendry doing every match though, he's as good an analyst as he was a player.

What a great spot from the ref in the Allen v Wilson game. Allen stroked the red as he brought his cue back and the ref spotted it. Allen didn't feel it. Great refereeing.

What a final couple of frames in the Allen v Wilson match. the last frame Wilson needed a snooker, Allen gets an unfortunate double kiss and the white goes in off. Wilson clears to the pink and misses and then Allen misses the pink and snookers Wilson, Wilson hits and snookers him back.

Still going on. Massive frame. If Allen loses its curtains you'd feel.

Ding v Trump has been awful tonight, both players making so many errors. The frames are taking an age because neither can string a break together to save their life. Trump is just ball bashing as usual.
