Never understand why managers do this, are they trying to get sacked for the payment at this point?

Happens all the time with managers at the end of a job, playing random players out of position for no reason.
I agree mate.
Evans looks like he doesn’t want to be there.
We should have let him go to Stevenage.
As for Tutonda, I don’t think anyone is blaming him alone for yesterday. It was just that he still, somehow, managed to be worst of an incredibly bad bunch.
My assessment of Tutonda is not based on yesterday’s game but rather every single time I’ve seen him play.
He doesn’t seem to know when to stay, when to go, when to tackle, when to stand his man up. In short he does not know how to defend.
Part of that to be fair to the lad, is probably due to the total lack of coaching from our so called management team.

How come Evans is still in the job, in your opinion?

Whilst sacking managers isn’t always the way, as we found out last season, surely his time has come?

He is still there because he has been spinning this line all season that we have the lowest budget in world football. Something that has been denied by our chairman and something that no reasonable fan would believe.
Basically he has spent the last 12 months blaming lack of funds, COVID, injuries, basically anything but himself.
He takes absolutely no responsibility whatsoever for the teams performance or position.
Sadly many of our fans are gullible enough to believe it despite the fact that this is his team, his squad, his players. This is his third season.
Many are finally becoming to come round.
As to why he is still there? I can only think that it is because our chairman is the devil incarnate to many of our fans and for some strange reason they have this irrational love in with Evans. He probably feels that if he sacks him he will be vilified even more by the fans. Plus he would have to pay him off of course.

Unusual to have three looking like they're being cut adrift at the halfway stage, but it only takes a good week to have a bit of hope again.

We'll be hanging around the bottom for a little longer, we've got Sunderland, Plymouth and Rotherham coming up.

We've only picked up two points from the bottom four sides!

Club statement says mutual, but I think with yesterday's team Evans was trying to get sacked

Morecambe are making a decent fist of it to be fair, although conceding on average two a game isn't ideal, even more so if they lose Stockton in the next week or so.

Cheltenham are on a slippery slope again, Cambridge have had a good week despite performances apparently not being great.

Shrewsbury have never seemed far from relegation for ages now, including last season and just don't seem to be able to get a run together.

Gillingham are showing no signs of life at all.

Morecambe have conceded more goals than Donny so if they lose Stockton they are down. I still think they will get relegated along with Donny and Gillingham. Then it's a pick between us, Crewe, Fleetwood, Wimbledon, Bolton, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.

Agree with the above. We've got enough about us to stay up IF Cole stays, last week proves it.

We have nothing to back Cole up though so if he does go or gets a lengthy injury, we'll go down without a fight. We're a totally different side when he isn't there, we're very weak and look clueless in the final third. No one else attacking wise is league 1 standard, Ayunga can be but he's abit inconsistent. He was superb at the weekend though.

15 games without a win, if we were a sick animal we’d have been put out of our misery by now

Some big games next Tuesday as well - AFCW/Cheltenham, Gills/Crewe, Bolton/Cambridge.
