Serena is having an absolute nightmare out there but Watson's retrieving has been world class. She's given Serena some extremely difficult low defensive slices to deal with and is making her go for more and more which is resulting in unforced errors.

I still think Serena will find a way through though but this has been class from Watson. I hope regardless of the result, it gives her belief that she can crack the top 10/20. There's no reason why she can't be another Halep. She just needs consistency with her aggression as she's showing today.

I don't think it's upto Serena anymore (barring a miraculous improvement from her). The result of this match comes down to whether Heather can stop the occasion from getting the better of her.

All this whilst her first serve has been predominantly missing throughout. Makes you wonder what she's capable of if she could improve in that department. She's such a hacker... just gets everything back and rarely makes an unforced error.

3-1 in the final set is still a fantastic position to be in.She would of taken that any day of the week.

This game is important now. If Serena breezes through to love here the pressure is massively on. If she can just get some sort of foothold, doesn't have to break just slow the momentum

I wish she always played like that. She is a tremendous fighter but unfortunately her consistency is normally all over the place. This is the best I've ever seen her play. It's looking a bit ominous actually. She has to hold here or Serena wins.
