Has anybody seen the new version of Today at Wimbledon?
It's just awful. From the text speak title, the shoe horning of the talented but overexposed Claire Balding into the mix, and the dodgy set/camera angles, it is really appalling. Worst of all is the lack of actual highlights, the supposed purpose of the show. The term " if it ain't broke don't fix it" springs to mind, but obviously a TV producer somewhere disagrees.

She makes my skin crawl and she is on everything, so no, I don't watch it. Would rather have good old sexist Inverdale back on there, rather than that bland and boring presenter they have got now.

Ward and Murray are both going to be playing at the same time which is typical. Good start for Ward though as he leads 5-2 in the opening set.

I've haven't been watching it because I've seen a lot of the action live, but I can't stand supposed highlights shows where they hardly show any highlights. Seems be to increasingly common and the BBC are really bad for it.

Its basically talking heads - stating the obvious really.

And I cannot believe members of the public just want to stand there for an hour or more rather than watch live tennis/have a look around the grounds or even go home.

Anyway good solid win for Murray and Ward looks like chalking up another decent success - might fancy his chances against Pospisil or Fognini if he comes through.

Keys is the only ladies seed left in one section of the draw after Makarova and Cornet lost.

A comfortable win for Murray and James Ward is almost into the 3rd round, needing just one more game to win.

James Ward has now broken into the top 100 so well done to him.

Great win for Ward. First time he's made the third round in a grand slam.
Could be facing another unseeded player in Vasek Poposil who is 2 sets up on hothead Fabio Foginni.

Murray will face Seppi/ Borna Coric. Coric is a set and a break up. Will be a interesting match up if he can finish the job,

I see Petra Kvitova has had an extra week of practise matches!

Another match won inside an hour.

Mind you Radwanska took 49 minutes and could be a dangerous floater.

Fed looks effortless on the grass compared to the other Slams, his movement on the surface is still magnificent.

Good to see Ward getting some confidence boosting wins on grass ahead of the Davis cup tie.

Dustin Brown is bloody brilliant, so entertaining! As has been said, his style is basically 'don't give a fuck'.

Like I said, Castle is a fucking idiot of mind boggling proportions.

I will probably need a lie down for an hour after this match, due to him completely numbing my brain with his endless ramblings of ill informed bullshit. How he gets this gig every year is beyond me, he was a useless player and he's even worse as a pundit.

Those 2 forehand misses make me think he's done here. Peak Nadal makes those 100 times out of 100.

Brown is making this look very very easy. It really is a shame to see Nadal nowhere near the player he was before his injuries a few years ago.

Fighting character of a former champion to hold against 2 match points there and make DB serve it out.

Here we go...

What a match that was. Complete gung ho tennis from start to finish.

And yes, it's quite a shame to see Nadal like this.

What a fantastic game of tennis that was, an inspirational performance from world number 102 Dustin Brown. Guy can serve and showed bollox to continue playing with the level of aggression and intensity that he did against one of the best in the game.

Not that big on tennis, but it had me captivated from the first set as I was flicking through the channels.

I also did feel for Nadal in the end, but the best guy won today.

Kind of routing for Rafa now. I hate to see him playing this poorly. Be great if he could have one last hurrah at a slam somewhere.

On a fantasy league note, pretty pleased I took out Mueller, Lopez and Vesely for Isner, Zverev and Ward last minute. The first 3 are all out. Only Zverev has dropped from the latter 3. Gamble paid off.

Brilliant that arse-picker is out once more, it improves Andy's chances greatly. Brown on his day is like Dolgopolov or Monfils, almost unplayable when he is on top form, but more often than not, he is too inconsistent to do any real damage. Great win for the lad though, he is a fantastic showman and a fine player to watch.

Superb win for Ward also, again doesn't do it in straight sets (true to form!) and has a winnable match ahead of him against Pospisil.

Andy played better than he did against Kukushkin, and he'll get a good test from Seppi in the next round, as while I still expect Andy to progress in straight sets, Seppi can be a handful if he's in the mood.
