McEnroe said as much tonight, he said Fed was looking sublime at present but he doesn't think he can physically beat Murray and Djokovic over 5 sets to win it.

I would not put it past the genius as he pushed Djokovic all the way last year and I don't think he can have regressed that much on grass in 12 months, he looks pretty similar to me. I do agree though probably, I can't see him beating Murray and Djokovic back to back which is what he will need to do, unless Wawrinka takes care of Djokovic for him.

But then Wawrinka demolished Federer at RG so maybe he is passing him too now. On grass maybe its a different story, but Federer would be far from a certainty in beating his compatriot in a potential final meeting.

No need for Sharapova to grunt as loud as she is doing, it's pathetic. I hope she gets beat but in the meantime i'm turning the sound off my TV.

What a brilliant match so far between Serena Williams and Azarenka. Tennis of the highest quality.

Incredible standard in this match so far. Incredible noise as well, which is less enjoyable.

Azarenka is mentally one of the strongest, I can see her winning this.

Williams on song now and think she will win quite easily.

Has a great record over Sharapova too.

Radwanska about to win too.

Think she will get into the final so a repeat of 2012

I thought Azarenka was flagging but she seems to have got a second wind.

Although there's not much she can do when Williams is serving like that.

Serena's record against Sharapova is 17-2 and she has won all the last 16 meetings dating back to 2004. Against someone who has been her most consistent main rival over the past 10 years or so that is simply unbelievable.

Unlucky Azarenka, when back to full fitness she will be a serious contender again on the hard courts.

Bob abd Mike Bryan has just lost in the Mens Doubles. Huge chance for Jamie.

Even more so as they are playing a pair who had to qualify for the competition..

Meanwhile its very tight for the TFF competition (we are 13th overall):

1st Mark's SW19 stars 1274 (4 Men* and 2 ladies left)
2nd Best Served Cold 1252 (2 and 0 left)
3rd SteKrazy 1226 (3 and 2 left)
4th Wilson's wonders 1206 (3 and 1 left)
5th Baker's Boys 1195 (3 and 1 left)

*One of Cilic or Djokovic will be out.

I want Federer to win but I think Murray has a better chance of beating Djokovic. Dilemma.

Hopefully Andy can get through now to another final. Could be a cracking match between him and Federer.

Agreed. Federer's looking in ominous form, should be a great contest.

Feel like it's crept up a bit this year. With the way Murray's draw's fallen kindly it seems his tournament's only just getting started

Another good game coming up. Fancy Cilic to really give Djokovic a run for his money here

Hopefully the other semi final will be Djokovic v Wawrinka. Having said that Wawrinka has just lost the first set.

If Cilic plays like he can on grass he has a real chance to defeat Djokovic. He hasn't hit his best form throughout the tournament though and hence I think Nole will win.

Surprise that Gasquet has took a set off Wawrinka here. Still expect the Swiss to progress fairly easily however.

Is Murray looking like he can handle Fed then or what?

Wouldn't know having seen virtually nothing of him this tournament as they keep putting his matches on in the middle of the afternoon when the majority of us are in work.

Wrong match mate :dis:

Wawrinka-Gasquet has been great, backhand beauty.
Why do they have to split the men and women up, hate having to choose :(

Ashes as well, a lot of flicking going on

Murray is playing well though I haven't seen much of Federer this tournament. It'll be close I feel but will favour Federer if it becomes and indoor match if the weather plays up.

I haven't seen much of Federer either because his matches have been over very quickly:lol: He is in top form so Murray will have to play at his very best to have a chance.
