And if he does then I think he will beat Federer.

Gasquet chokes again. Second set to Stan.

Really hope Wawrinka wins to get through to meet Djokovic, Gasquet would just be a formality for Djokovic. Stan would probably lose as well but at least he has recent history of going all the way with Djokovic in big matches and make him doubt himself if nothing else.

Hate some of Djokovic's antics. His deliberate grunting on crucial points being the main one, i.e. when he's in trouble, he starts the grunting.

I must admit i'm liking Andy Roddick as a commentator and he's certainly better than most i've listened to.

First time the top four seeds will be the final four at Wimbledon since 95 (Aggasi/Sampras/Becker/Ivanisevic)

Would be a surprising stat, given how dominant the big 4 have been in recent years.

Gasguet's fought back impressively though, final set this really is too close to call. Fantastic match, these backhands are just sexual

Yeah I agree he has freshened it up instead of those constantly having the old guys droning the same old shite.

I hope this match keeps going for a good while yet, as it's very entertaining. Top quality match this.

Spoke too soon!

Was looking at the top fours/final fours at Wimbledon since 95. The top four seed to drop out before the semi-finals the most is Nadal (4 times). The player to make the final four the most times without being a top four seed is Henman (3 times). Good old Tim, eh!

Well played Gasquet.

Inverdale is worse than Castle.
I don't mind Inver dale tbh as commentator, he isn't that great during the dramatic points but he does come up with some decent thoughts to put to his cocommentators. Fleming is dreadful as that though, just sits there doesn't say a word apart from the obvious and offers nothing of note. He's the same on camera too for Sky, and he takes ages to answer questions also.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Wawrinka v Gasquet match, one of the best of the championships. I don't expect him to beat Djokovic but he's definitely good enough to make it an interesting game.

Djokovic will break Gasquet several times and then his own serve looks so strong into the bargain to confirm each break. Straight sets win.

Looks to be falling into place for him as he'll face a Murray/Fed who will have had to work hard to win their match. Federer's serve is consistently great and tough to break and then Murray will also need to serve exceptionally well to win this. His serve is all over the place at times, whereas Federer's will stay consistent throughout. Lot of media people thinking Murray will beat him this time around but I can simply never back against Roger Federer on centre court at Wimbledon.

Hope Gasquet isn't in such form next week when GB play France in the Davis Cup..

Fancy a repeat of last year's final I have to say.

Fed to beat Murray in 5.

Federer has never lost a semi final at Wimbledon, that's some stat. Really difficult to predict who will come out on top for that one.

Djokovic will destroy Gasquet.

Muguruza is making short work of this semi. Radwanska can't get into it.

Muguruza looks like she might win now - just broken for a 4-2 lead.

Christ, Maria's serve looks all over the place. 3 double faults in the opening game and a break down as a result, 1-0 Serena first set.

Andy Roddick is great by the way, it's refreshing to have someone on who has actually played the current top guys and provides some meaningful insight from their experiences. Always liked Roddick in interviews and shows he's done in the past, he has a dry wit and will always say what he thinks whether it is controversial or not.

Annoying that he's only just started to appear on the panel while clowns like Castle and Inverdale have been spouting their nonsense for best part of 2 weeks.
