Long term gains.
Considering the athleticism and youth required to be a world-class tennis player, I think I'd probably have sex with any of the top 1000 ranked women's tennis players in the world.(obviously within the age of consent limits).

I'd imagine that the feeling would not be mutual for the vast majority of them. And arranging it all would be problematic at best.
Woah steady on mate....

Nadal added that he trusts a doctor to monitor what medication he takes.

"He has been the doctor for all the Spanish players for a number of years," he said. "I would never take nothing that he doesn't know about."

Phew. No arguing with that, Rafa. Trusty Spanish sports doctors.

Shocker for Murray - beaten in 3 sets by Delbonis.

Yeah Jamie has ways been in Andy's shadow but this is a tremendous achievement and probably something his brother will never achieve.

If anything they should slow down the women's balls, it would allow for more rallies, more subtlety and inventiveness in their game, rather than hitting it as hard as they can from the baseline.

Djokovic wins the Miami open for a sixth time, beating Nishikori in the final.

So its the clay of Monte Carlo...

Djokovic I presume wasn't fit or hadn't adjusted to the surface enough in his defeat against Vesely?

No 12th consecutive Masters 1000 final then. Can't quite believe it. The way he was going, I couldn't see him losing to anyone in the top 10 let alone someone ranked 55th in the world. First time he's lost to someone outside the top 35 since June 2010 (Xavier Malisse, ranked 74th)

Nadal's to lose now?

he's now on his way out to Benoit Paire so doubt it...

edit - recovers from a set and a break down to win 2-6 7-5 7-5. still can't see him going all the way.

Vamossssss.

Pretty impressive level of play from Rafa this week, forehand seems to be nearing its best again.

Pretty incredible that, he beat him in the final last year there didn't he? Wonder what it is about the Madrid clay that Andy excels on. Probably facing Nole in the final now though, so out of the frying pan and into the fire I suppose!

Murray took it to three sets and looked as if he was fighting well for it today, but once again came unstuck against Djokovic. Still had a good tournament and is getting into some good form for going forward.

Too much in her personal life with the new baby to concentrate enough on coaching Murray?

How fit is Federer going to be for the French?

Not suffered too many injuries in his career and clag is pretty demanding of course.

Imagine it won't be long before he calls it a day. He's probably withdrawn from more tournaments so far this year than in the rest of his career combined.

Speaking of the Swiss, Stan seems to be in a bit of a rut at the moment. Could lose 4th to Nadal.

Also, when does Djokovic officially take Federer's crown? At the end of the month when he finally wins the French or the end of next year when he surpasses his 17 GS?

And once he's taken Federer's crown he can go after Rafa's ;)
