If both players bring their A game then Murray wins as he is the more talented player. However Djokovic has been playing at a higher level than anyone else this past year. I do think Murray is almost at his peak once more though and I don't think Djokovic has played that well at all this tournament (perhaps he is still feeling the after effects of the illness he had pre-tournament). I have more confidence in Murray doing this than in any other slam final he has been in, it just looks his time - now if anyone can step it up on the day to beat Andy then Djokovic is definitely the man for that, but I just don't see him winning it this time. Murray in four sets for me.

Easy to forget that Djokovic is a 14 time Grand Slam finalist. There is also a reason why he has 5 more slams than Murray. He has done brilliantly in an era dominated by the 2 greatest players of all time in Rafa and Fed.

If Djokovic wins today it will be his 5th Australian Open title. That's the most in the open era, and more than Federer. That's a telling stat.

I still think Djokovic is playing the big points better. Murray has pulled out an awesome tie break there but over the course of 5 sets, I see Djokovic winning more big points to nick it.

Great match though and it's nice to see Murray playing like this again.

What the hell happened to Djokovic and his fitness? For a while he was a monster, seemed like he could play for 10 straight hours. In the last year or so he seems to break down in the 3rd/4th set. I know it's difficult to keep the same level but...

Djokovic is simply a better and more consistent player, his backhand just doesn't break down. This is why he doesn't have peaks and troughs through the season, he gets to finals all year round unlike Murray. His relentless consistency. This is exactly how I thought the match would go.

This is a repeat of the final the other year in Australia between these two. Two excellent tiebreak sets, then Murray just went away.

Let's not discredit Murray too much. Djokovic is simply awesome. He ground Murray down.

The Murray of old came out in those last two sets, he just collapsed. Djokovic just too good for him.

Still think he needs to reassess whether Mauresmo is still the best coach to take him forward. Surgery aside I still feel he has lost a lot of what Lendl gave him during his 2012 and 2013 seasons.
