There is going to be British interest on finals weekend with Dart and Clarke facing Murray and Azarenka in the Mixed Doubles semi finals .

That had crossed my mind but WHY ? I'm presuming they're only going to be talking about shots/tactics etc and I can't see any way that such detailed communication could be passed on by rival coaches in order that it may influence the match.

Serious question......I've noticed for a few years now....while watching doubles matches (I've been watching mixed doubles laterally this afternoon) when the players talk to each other between points they cover their mouths. Is there any practical reason for this cos for the life of me I can't work this out! I'm presuming it is not to allow their utterances be 'understood'....but by whom ? Just wondering.

What pisses me off about the doubles, is the fistpumps ON EVERY SINGLE POINT WIN OR LOSE!

This match is currently the 7th longest in history. The thing is, both players look stronger on their serve the longer it goes on because both players are too knackered to return effectively. They need to introduce 5th set tie-breakers.

I was pleased Djokovic won, but it was just a shame the final was so poor, but it was to be expected really after all the hours that Anderson had spent on court. I can see Djokovic going on to win many more slams over the next few years now.
