So who's gonna finish top 4 then? Who?

Very impressive that all sides of the top 8 that played today won. With Liverpool waking up it looks a pretty open one.

It would be great if they could see it through and finish top 4. Pretty much thought they'd have been in serious trouble when Pot and some of their key players left but Koeman is doing an amazing job there.

for me, but rooting for Saints badly just for something a little different. I like many wrote them off pre season so the job they are doing it excellent.

I think we will fall short sadly. I hope Saints do it but i can't see them keeping this up.

We'll get there.

Ahead of whom? It could be a 10-12 (or bigger) point gap after the next five fixtures—

Liverpol:
West Ham (H), Everton (A), Spurs (H), Southampton (A), Man City (H)
Arsenal: Villa (H), Spurs (A), Leicester (H), Crystal Palace (A), Everton (H)
Southampton: Swansea (H), QPR (A), West Ham (H), Liverpool (H), West Brom (A)
Man Utd: Leicester (H), West Ham (A), Burnley (H), Swansea (A), Sunderland (H)
Spurs: West Brom (A), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A), West Ham (H), QPR (A)

I'm largely being irrationally bullish, but equally it could end up very differently. I'm not really convinced by anyone yet.

I think it'll come down to United, Arsenal & Liverpool. Southampton I see doing what Villa used to under O'Neill, and Spurs are just comparatively average across almost all of the pitch.

I think Liverpool's forward quality will just see them in there. Bit harsh to call Spurs average though, they're a good team that have the greatest knack of grinding out results in comparison to the rest of the chasers.

To be honest, i'd be surprised if United finishes in the top 4, they have looked really shaky, and they struggled in a lot of games. I can see the wheels coming off if they lose one or two. I think we will have a strong finish, we have Ozil, Walcott, Wilshere, Welbeck and Ramsey to come back, and though we lost Debuchy and Arteta, The Big Coq and Bellerin have both been outstanding understudies. Southampton have made a great signing in Elia, and they looked very comfortable on the weekend after beating United and then Newcastle. Honestly, I can see us 3rd and SOTON 4th, with United, Liverpool and Spuds behind. I think Spuds need another season under Pochettino ... you can see them improving game by game, but they need one or two additions... can't see them just continuing to get 90th minute winners all season.

I agree with your assessment of United, but they appear to have the easiest remaining schedule. I think Spurs are more likely to claim 4th than Southampton, which would be good for the romanticists who desire seeing the smaller clubs finish top four.

One inconvenience of missing TFF is the inability to pull up the old Roberto Soldado thread, where he was repeatedly labeled a "much better footballer than Giroud." Reckon Spurs would do a swap quicker than Dirty Harry can type "goon keeper shite".

Liverpool have a lot of tough games in the league yet, but hopefully they are clicking into gear now and get through the bigger games relatively unscathed. I still think they won't be far off challenging for the last place.

Arsenal and Utd for me. Although I see Rodgers has said Liverpool were never going to challenge for the title this season they will next

I really wish someone in the media would have the bottle to call him on that comment.
