Carlisle's ground is quite tinpot/ bit of a mess, i love the stand which looks like it was build slightly in the wrong place not being inline with the pitch.

But they have a decent side, although i feel a lot of those draws were probably closer to defeats than wins, They are doing well but i think we can beat them. Close game today and hopefully entertaining... 1-2?

Overall the first half has been an awful game between 2 poor sides at the. We're there for the taking if Mansfield can find something extra second half. I don't know how long we can continue being this shit without getting utterly punished for it. Maybe today will be the day.

The 2 goals are an education in how not to defend corners, shocking from both sides.

On some occasions you've just got to doff the cap and say well played.

The first 10 minutes were Mansfields and we scored early, and from then on, all Carlisle.

Fast attacking play, clever worked goals - like the equiser, players moving and finding space, carry on they'll go up.

Evans has work to do, but today will help him establish what's needed, gobern was poor, again. He'll learn more from this than a narrow loss or a draw.

Poor first half from both teams, one team had to step it up second half.

We did, Mansfield didn't.
Deserved win. We were absolutely ruthless second half which was what we were lacking at the start of the season. When we play like that we look a hard team to stop. I just hope we can get out of this habit of starting games slowly and conceding early goals. Cut that out and attack like we did and we'll stay in the promotion mix that's for sure!

Very pleasing second half and a fully deserved win in the end.

Good to see us playing some really good stuff, even if it took till half time for us to turn it on, I didn't see but hear that we were good at Grimsby so fingers crossed, we'll go on another good run. Luton away looming up though, I had that down as a very tough game but hopefully they've hit a wobble and after that We'll have been to all of the top 5 bar Plymouth.

Superb win, performance second half was top drawer. Wyke played brilliant holding the ball up and took his two headers very well. The whole team played fantastic today against a decent Mansfield side.

I'm sure we'll be up there in May, most results going our way today.

I thought Mansfield were below par today, that's why we were level at half time despite being shit ourselves. Green was good though, he's excellent in the air and has a superb first touch.

The hoo-hah with the towels was amusing. Evans going mad about the fact that each time we got a throw-in, the ball-boy had a towel to dry the ball. Moaned at the 4th official, moaned at the ref and the ref eventually told our kit man to take in all the towels.

Towards the end of the first half we got a throw-in right in front of the Mansfield fans and out of nowhere a towel appeared, and Steve Evans erupted into a brilliant magenta flash of fury.

I don't know how he sees the game, he seems to spend the majority of the match with his back to the pitch bitching to the 4th official about anything and everything.
