They barely deserve a mention but it's only fair we have a place for those clubs who are going to (if they haven't already) disappear into the mid-table abyss..........

Who from the promotion thread will be disappointed to find their way into here and who from the relegation thread will rejoice at being in the safe haven of mid-table

I think we actually won this last year.

Hope to be posting in here more often than the doom-monger relegation thread!

I'll happily set up camp in this thread. Still overawed at where we are compared to 14 years ago.

Doubt it, we were only out of the promotion race mathematically on the final day last season! My predicted 14th place finish sits well with this thread.

Look at MJA creating all these threads, he's better than all the mods. Except T.A maybe, he does stuff.

Someone needs to take this place by the balls and make it great again.

Or more to the point, a social life didn't exist yesterday evening so this was my only alternative

We won't go down and aren't good enough to go up. I'd imagine we'll finish somewhere between 10th and 14th.

And yet you were forced to convert your terrace to seating in your brief spell in the championship. This really annoys me.

If we were to get promoted our first season back in the Championship we'd have to have an all seater stadium.

I very much suspect we will end up in this group.

Think we'll be camped here for the season unfortunately, but considering our aim is still play offs and we aren't doing badly in recent weeks at all, we may find our selves leaving the right way

You're always annoyed - think it's the culture around your club ;)

Will park ourselves in here for the foreseeable I think, not what I'd hoped at the start of the season but now Robinson has gone our new man seems to be refreshingly assured at what he needs and wants to do.

I disappove of all seater stadia. Some people will always stand and it's not safe in seating areas. Far better to have safe standing - hopefully that will be allowed by the time we fit out our new stadium.

And that is where we totally agree, Thankfully I sit/stand in the top row of seats so am always safe in the knowledge I can stand without blocking the light out of anyone behind me .

I have a suspicion that in two games time I can find myself here with confidence.

MK will make the playoffs imo.

Even if they win tonight they're 8 points away with some of the 8 teams already above them having a game in hand.

Can't see it myself, I don't believe they'll leapfrog all of those sides above them.

Always that one team which has a great second half of the season. They've got some top quality players and their manager is getting them playing well.

I noticed their crowd was 21,000 on the weekend. What was that about? It is normally 9000. Free tickets?

All to do with the 50th anniversary of MK this year. I was actually surprised at how many turned up as it's not that Bolton are are particularly charismatic. (no offence to Bolton). Will it result in more people coming in the future, sadly I doubt it as we have too many Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea armchair fans here who would rather go down the pub and watch Sky than go the the stadium.

Not often I would say this, but that's probably more commendable than supporting MK Dons.

Lol, Yeah course it is sweetheart, mock all you like, but any fan of any club that gets off their arse and goes and follows it's local team is far better than the armchair fan, so you're pro modern football where you can sit on your arse and watch football from the sofa and anti modern football because of the MK move, right ?

I was actually only half-joking.

Where have I been pro modern football? I clearly say 'it's not often I would say this'.

As you've brought it up though, I have no qualms with people choosing to watch two legitimate clubs play against each other on the box rather than lining the pockets of Winkleman.

Feeling more confident with Justin Edinburgh in charge?

Much more so. Not sold on his midfield diamond yet but we actually attack teams unlike we did with Page. Think we will end up finishing around 14th or so.
