Finished this an hour ago. I love this game, but fuck sake are there some piss poor parts. Those guardians can fuck right off with their shitty fucking crossbows. Not enough Sully.

Stardew Valley

Trying to save money but it's a bit hard. Made the mistake of not having any seeds and the shop is closed on a Wednesday. WHY NOT A SUNDAY, SHOP MAN?!

Batman: Arkham Knight
Decent gameplay and combat and liking the fact Batman is now some super speedy ninja character who grapples everywhere. Unsure about how bloody complicated it is and how advanced the villains and their technology are.

Just started Shadow of Mordor on my PS4. Was a Christmas present off my sister, just never got round to playing it. Very impressed with the graphics, battle system and the theme in general, but other things seem a bit complex. Might take a while to get my head round it. Any tips fellas?

Continuing playing Super Mario Sunshine, really starting to get into it now. I think at the start it's a bit WTF is going on. Very creative and basically bonkers/whacky stuff happens which is great.

Hoping to buy some new retro 2D games soon - SNES/Gameboy Advance kind of stuff as I fancy some 2D linear gaming where you don't have to think about exploration much.

super mario sunshine is joyful and joyous and i want to give it lots of kisses and cuddles. HOWEVER play it when the sun goes down at your own peril -- those bright saturated colours will turn your fucking eyes square.

It's a nice counter balance to Batman Arkham Asylum which I'm also playing atm.

I bought Skyward Sword bloody ages ago and havent even tried it yet. Havent played a Zelda game in ages so I think I need to start playing this.

Havent been playing much lately, still grinding the last few achievements on Diablo 3 ROS. Grinding away at the level 70 with all classes...its just that bloody Demon Hunter. Worst class by far, that was the second class I actually completed the game with, was about level 50 by that stage. Since then, Ive completed the game and reached level 70 with the Crusader, Wizard and Monk, and nearly done it with the Witch Doctor! My DH is still about level 54...I hate him.

Done the main story of Arkham Knight and have about 3 Most Wanted side quests to finish off. Great game and really liked the story, can see this like Asylum and City being one of those games I'll come back to and replay every few years

Finished FE Fates: Birthright, got kind of bored of it towards the end and finished it so I can move onto Revelations. Conquest definitely the better of the two.
Been playing a lot of Persona 4 recently, originally didn't think much of it but now it's sucked me in. Finally feel like I know what I'm doing now (took me 3 bosses to figure out how to get new weapons and was grinding levels on days I should be doing other shit ect)

Just played... And finished Streets of Rage II. I'm much better at it than I was when I were a nipper. Still used my two continues mind you. Max had 2 lives, and I finished off with Blaze (knew I should have started with her, always been my best character), forgot how good a game it is. Loved it. The flying enemies do my fucking head in though.

Only played around twenty five minutes or so. Escaped the clowns from the circus, that huge metal thing and now I'm in a sewer.

Dying Light
Struggling with this now. It's just far too samey. Might actually give up on it.

Uncharted 3
Just arrived in Syria, looking for Cutter and Chloe.

Just started it. Quite enjoying it so far. I'm sure it gets tougher as it's quite easy (just run away and climb on a building to get away from them for example) at the moment. Controls are a little clunky as well but a good start.

Finished Arkham Knight. Other than having too many Riddler challenges, great game. I know Rocksteady aren't doing anymore Arkham games, if a sequel was to come out I just hope it isn't by the same studio who did Arkham Origins

I'm playing through Far Cry 4 again because I didn't complete it the first time round. The "go to where someone told you to go, get drugged, stumble around some countryside bathed in psychedelic purple lighting for a bit before the drugs wear off" structure to half of the missions is really grating on me.

i don't know why people would themselves through far cry and arkham games anymore, when almost every other title plays just like one or the other.

Quantum Break
Finished Act 1. Visually superb, gameplay solid with some decent 'powers'. A good hour and a half start, but let's see how the story progresses from here. The TV aspect was pretty cool too, although I expect it be divisive. Luckily I like it.

Dying Light

Finished this afternoon. I enjoyed the overall experience although which is weird because I can't pick out a single praiseworthy aspect. Everything is mechanically sound, the story is as you'd expect from a zombie game and...and...fuck it, I don't know. I liked it but I'm not sure why.

Dark Chronicle
Just under two hours played and I've loved every minute. Art style is fantastic, the music is top notch and the battle system is fantastic, although it did take me a bit to get used to it.

Loved Far Cry 3, tired of 4 very quickly but loved Primal. Found the setting and the beast aspect to be enough to distract from the fact it's the same game as the previous two.

But fuck these and let's talk about Dark Chronicle.

dark chronicle is great. one of my favourite jrpgs. i said at the time that the tff ni no fanboys should play DC as they are essentially the same game in lots of ways.: made by the same developers and teams so no surprise.

talking of jrpgs, just started suikoden 2 on my psp. haven't played any of them before. i've heard very good things.

Hope you enjoy Suikoden 2. A game I hold in very high regard. Probably my third favourite JRPG on the original Playstation, just behind 1FF VII and IX.

Agreed on Dark Chronicle being great. It's predecessor Dark Cloud is a much better game though imo.

Suikodeeeeen :D

You should do two play throughs for your first time imo. Blind playthrough and then one where you follow a guide so you can get all of the characters.

I'm on the last boss on Bloodborne, but due to some bad stat investment early on I'm struggling. Would love a re-spec item tbh, but I guess I'll just have to grind levels for a bit.

Which boss?

And what level are you?
