That's nuts, 90 is a decent level.

Have you consumed the three umbilical cords? If so, I recommend to do so before killing Gehrman

Finished Arkham Knight. Other than having too many Riddler challenges, great game. I know Rocksteady aren't doing anymore Arkham games, if a sequel was to come out I just hope it isn't by the same studio who did Arkham Origins

I liked Origins once it got going and was gutted when it ended as felt it had just hit it's stride.

I invested poorly in stats early on to try out different weapons, but yeah I've consumed the 3 cords.
Can get G-man down to his last 10% or so of health, but after halfway where I can't visceral him I can hardly deal any damage

Only ever got to the Shadows of Yarnham - got within two hits of killing the third, but ran out of stamina. Never really touched it after.

I will be getting DS III.

The shadows of Yharnam are a pretty tricky boss, but Mega - I would recommend using bone ash and try and visceral G-Man, you could always ring your beckoning bell without a password near the mist and a get a co-op partner in.

I have been playing Dark Souls 2 for 2 days and already level 39 after killing the giant and the pursuer. Such a good game

Not got PS+, not worth it where I am, internets never really good enough to play MP. I'll give it a few more goes but tbh I lost interest in the game after Rom and getting to Y'argul, just trying it now for the sake of finishing it.
Just waiting for DS3 now.

from what i've seen of the game so far, it looks more like bloodborne II: medieval theme than a true dark souls game. don't know whether it's the dynamic lighting effects or the more fluid combat mechanics, but the feel and mood are very, very different to the first two.

I've seen a lot of people and some reviewers say it's like a 'greatest hits' of all the previous Soulsborne games.
Finally managed to finish Bloodborne, beat Moon Presence first try (after dying because I had no blood vials left from fighting Gehrman)

Gone retro and playing Sacrifice again. God damn I love this game, it stands up even now 16 years after release

It ain't underrated, it's just a backwards step compared to the first Dark Souls

Last of Us: Left Behind
Last of Us is one of my favourite games of all time so it's a bit surprising that I've only just got around to trying this standalone DLC. Finished in one sitting as it's only a couple of hours long. Brilliant though, writing just as good as the main game. Lots of heart-warming scenes with Ellie and Riley; I loved the scene in the Halloween store and the segment in the photo booth.

Uncharted 3
Just arrived in Yemen. The last few chapters in Syria were quite good.

Quantum Break
I'm on act 3 and I've just unlocked the 'time sprint' ability or whatever it's called. Got quite a mixture of powers now. They're the best part of the combat because everything else is too safe and standard.

I thought my facepalming Cloud picture pretty much summed up my feelings towards it.

But yeah, at least it looks pretty. Runs like shit on the Xbox One, horrible, jarring framerate and such. But stand still and it looks pretty.

But Jesus Christ, am I actually missing something or is combat really as basic as hold down B and... that's it? Oh, and hold X to defend. But what the fuck? It's as if they actively went out of their way to make the combat system as shit as possible. It's actually lazier than Dynasty Warriors.

How in the holy hell did they manage to take a series that was once as great as FF7-10 and turn it into this?

Honestly your face palming cloud didn't really say all that, also he sort of looks like he could be about to cast a spell anime style.
But yeh I was expecting something at least along the lines of Dissidia in term of movement, different attacks ect, but I found it terribly stiff and using the same button for 'escape to safety of lamppost' and 'teleport in front of boss' was pretty ridiculous. I played it once then uninstalled

Finished this afternoon. Solid game with some fun powers although the gun-play is a little shit and having on auto aim is pretty much required. Enjoyed the story and the characters, particularly Ashmore's performance as Jack. Hatch and Serene were also well crafted. The visuals are decent as well considering it's in 720p...

Defeated Vordt of the Boreal Valley. Incredibly easy boss fight. Only done him and the fella guarding the bonfire just before the shrine. Really enjoying this game.

Gears of War
On to Act IV I go. Enemies have gotten a little tougher now although I've got some sort of exploding bow weapon. How lovely.

Trails of Cold Steel

Second day in Baerhard. Jusis has gone to see his toff twat of a father and I'm busy fighting monsters on the North Kreuzen highway.

Started a Nuzlocke* on Pokemon: Fire Red. Not sure on the rules with starters, so I did it on trainer number, whatever it ended in would decide what pokemon I started with (1- Bulbasaur 2- Squirtle 3- Charmander 4- Bulbasaur etc), trainer number ended in a 2, so I got Squirtle. To cut a long story short, I've beat Brock, and just made it to Celadon. I have serious issues with electric pokemon at the minute due to my team. Lost my first Pokemon against my rival (CUMSTAIN), which was a Rattata named Simon, I had to put him in the firing line as he was the least valuable member of my team whilst I healed another pokemon.

So far I have:

Dave (Worturtle) - Lv19
Mark (Magicarp) - Lv15
Cid (Butterfree) - Lv12
Marge (Pidgey) - Lv17
Wilfred (Beedrill) - Lv10
Sergio (Spearow) - Lv7

In the PC:
Zack (Zubat) Lv9

Deceased:
Simon (Rattata) Lv10
Gertrude (Oddish) Lv13

And you see my quandary regarding electric types. I normally just use Dave to try and steamroll them before they get me, but I seriously need a ground or rock type now. Zubat coming in Mt Moon was a blow.

*Can only catch one pokemon from each area, and it must be the first one you encounter, if you kill it, tough shit, move on, if your pokemon faints it is 'dead' and must be released, you MUST give a nickname to all pokemon. 'Event' pokemon don't count towards this (Pokemon you can buy, win, trade, and see on the map [such as Snorlax]), so this is how I have my Magikarp, paid the dude 500 for it. Training up Marge at the moment to take on Misty with! I am hoping that I can find a Sandshrew on the way to Bill's place though, as that would make my team far more balanced.

No Sandshrew in Red, unless they changed that in FireRed, I only played the original. Could aim for a Cubone though

No, you're right, there aren't. Cubone doesn't come for a while!! Beat Misty anyway, caught an Oddish (Gertrude) by Bill's, but it died against the second trainer in Misty's gym, so that lasted long. Could have done with a grass pokemon too.

Shall continue to update the list of deceased anyway, as and when they die.

Yeah but you should get a chance at a Voltorb, Cubone or Growlithe before LT Surge I think, that's what I was thinking of when I mentioned Cubone

Yeah, Surge is going to be an issue with the current party. The best equipped to take him at the moment would be Butterfree (don't think it classes as flying?), Gyarados is useless as it's Water/Flying so 4x weakness to electric. Rock Tunnel might be useful too though. Also have Diglet Cave to come before I have to fight Surge I believe?

I could catch a Diglett, and I have. Doug.

Just come out of the SS. Anne, and my team reads as thus:

Dan (Drowzee) Lv13
Marge (Pigeotto) Lv25
Mark (Gyarados) Lv22
Dave (Wartortle) Lv21
Doug (Dugtrio) Lv28
Cid (Butterfree) Lv16

PC:
Zack (Zubat) Lv9
Mick (Meowth) Lv14
Sergio (Spearow) Lv7
Wilfred (Beedrill) Lv10

Deceased:
Simon (Rattata) Lv10
Gertrude (Oddish) Lv13

Ratchet and Clank
My first steps into the Ratchet series. Game is visually stunning, that much is apparent when you first start. Great mixture of worlds, some are rather industrial, some are techy and some are lush. Gameplay is extremely solid with a decent variety of weapons, a simplistic upgrade and vendor system and the mechanics themselves are all simple but they fit perfectly. Well worth the £25 or so that I played.

The only criticism I have 3-4 hours in is that the cut scenes aren't particularly well polished, facial expressions not in sync with the audio etc.
