Steve Coogan, Alan Partridge, great character. I watched this years ago but couldn't remember the scene. OK, now I get it. I thought you use "apropos" like we do it in Germany. Should've looked it up before in the dictionary, eh ;). So change it with "by the way" in my above post (if you work in Currys :D )

back to Demon's Souls
Still very much in it. Actually my character is more of a "Spell-Sword", a fighter with magic. A pure magician isn't so good for the big ones and a brute isn't mobile enough (fat rolls are funny to watch but easy to target). So the combination of magic with fighting skills and enough mobility is the best for me. Anyway, already died enough and that's sometimes frustrating when you have 1 attempt to get back your "souls" you looted with half health (later 75%) where you failed before with 100% otherwise it's lost.
For the platinum trophy you have to make a NG+++ because you have to collect several items and then this "World Tendency" which is a pain in the ass too. Anyway, way too go for me to end the game for the first time.

Until Dawn - reaching a climax in this game now, or at least thats how it feels. accidentally killed Matt after not realising i could have left the deer alone instead of twatting it with a shovel :2thumb:

the stranger has also been killed by the Wendigo, scary shit but managing to keep most people alive at the moment! only other person to have died is Jessica, who fell down a lift shaft because i wasnt fast enough

Love that game, one of my favourites of the last few years. I'm probably due a rerun, closest I've got to keeping everyone alive was so frustrating, lost Sam right at the end because my hand twitched when I had to keep still...so bloody gutted.

Oh scratch that, it's the best AC game so far in my opinion. Visually it's a complete masterpiece, it's mindblowing how rich and detailed the locations are. The quest and loot systems are complete rip-offs of other games but other good games so the end result is also good.

Bayek is up there with Ezio as far as protagonists go and although the story starts off a bit muddled, a couple of hours in it really gets going. Especially if you're an AC fan, there are lots of little 'oh so that's why....' moments.

I haven't really enjoyed an AC game since Revelations, but really interested in Egypt and that and so tempted by this. Worth a go then?

Definitely. You get your moneys worth as well - plenty to do.

Reyt game. I saved everyone until the last 5 minutes where the only character I liked died.

Hayden panitierre by any chance?? I fucking killed her too. That QTE was far too much of a surprise.

She survived, was one of the male characters, forgot his name but he ended up getting a bit warm with fire.

I treated myself to the WWE 2K18 season pass over Christmas as it was on offer and I only just realised after 3 weeks that I was able to unlock all the purchasable content within the game (legends, arenas etc) with one button press.....

How is WWE18? Only played 17 a bit, but interested in this iteration.

Graphics are great, no real draw in terms of a story mode like other ones. There is my career and my universe, and a very healthy create a wrestler creations online

I've ordered it. I'll probably just use Universe to play as Legends.

Also, anyone got Monster Hunter on PS4?

Me and a mate started and finished Resi 7 in a single sitting the other weekend. We had an absolute blast with it, though the final act is much, much weaker than the first two. If I'd played it solo I'd have probably been more disappointed, especially given how short the game is. Still, rather a short good game that leaves you wanting more, than an 'open-world' Ubisoft chorefest.

The first Stronghold, in HD. Bought it off Steam for about £3 on Friday night and spent a couple of hours yesterday familiarising myself with it again.

Rollercoaster Tycoon was on there as well, which I didn't buy, and I've not played that for years and years either.

Played a little bit of Fortnite for the first time last night. Don't get the hype at all!
