I'm going through a phase of playing older horror games on PC. I'm starting with this and...it's a bit unique.

Barely played any games over the last few months until playing through The Walking Dead: A New Frontier recently. Pish compared to season 2, which was pish compared to season 1. Ava's death scene was hilariously written and voiced.

Still playing CS:GO (cos game modes for days and that) and theHunter: Call of the Wild occasionally (cos it's relaxing and that). Gonna start Hollow Knight soon, or maybe Prey if my gfx card can hack it.

Also, I've got 2 copies of Nation Red in my inventory. If anyone fancies a top down zombie arena shooter just send me your trade link.

Do TellTale Games hold the record for making the same fucking game a certain number of times?

They came very close but were beaten out by Activision and Ubisoft (who get bonus points for copy pasting their map in the Far Cry series).

Over the last year I've played 3 Telltale Games which were in the PS Plus (Borderlands Tale, Game of Thrones and Batman).

First they are ok but the more you "play" (meaning pressing a button or moving the stick once in a while) it gets on your nerves.

The easiest platinum trophy ever these telltale games because you got it automatically when ending the games (if you can hang on so long)

Actually I am playing the old "Batman Arkham" Series.
I've played it 8 years ago on my old PS3 and now I am doing it again with the remastered Version for the PS4 ( Batman-Return to Arkham contains the first two, the 2009 Batman Arkham Asylum and the 2010 Arkham City) and Batman Arkham Knight is the final of the Rocksteady trilogy. (Batman Arkham Origins from 2013 wasn't from Rocksteady).

Started playing Hollow Knight, about 5 hours in. It's pretty good so far but more than anything it's just reminded me how fucking good Ori was and made me want to replay that rather than carrying on with HK. It's supposed to be a fairly long game though so I'm hoping it gets better as it opens up.

I'm playing Detroit: Become Human, which is the latest effort by Quantic Dream that did Heavy Rain, Fahrenheit and the Ellen Page one that didn't rate so well. I really like this style of game, and this is excellent so far.

The new PS Plus games for June are available. For PS4 it's this time XCom2 and Trials Fusion (not my cup of tea).
I just downloaded XCom2 and played the Tutorial Mission. I played the old XCom some 8 years ago on the PS3. And the "good old feeling" was there again, immediately. I liked to play these round-based games back then (Incubation (for PC) is still one of my all-time favourites)

It gets better as it opens up. Great game. Think I must be pretty close to the end of the main story now, but still feel as though there's more to explore.

Downloaded Farming Simulator for free the other night just to slag it off to a friend who is a farmer. I played it for 4 hours straight. Strangely addictive.

Started playing Fortnite on the PS4. I don’t usually do shooters but hammered the fuck out of fifa and got bored. I’m proper shit at Fortnite like have managed a 5th place without killing anyone, in fact I’ve played about 20 games and killed only one guy. Went mental and started celebrating when I nailed him though. Enjoying the game but any tips? I just never see the enemies and my shooting skills leave a lot to be desired.

Finishing The Talos Principle, and Journey (last night). Resumed Doom after feeling I didn't have the same reflexes I had when I played it 20-odd years ago, and found I did surprisingly well. So will get back to that tonight.

Dowloaded Uncharted 4 and Horizon: Zero Dawn, so will get round to them in the next few weeks, before I get back to playing Elite: Dangerous and going on an expedition there for a few months.

Having a very gaming August. I'm not going on vacation as I spent a fortune in Russia so playing ps2/3/4 for 3 weeks non-stop. Currently finishing GTA 4. Once I'm done with that, I'll switch to PS4 and play The Rise of the Tomb Raider (really big fan of the franchise) as well as GTA 5. Once I'm done with those (may take a while) I'll go back to PS2 playing Vice City and San Andreas.

Fun!

I loved to play Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy was a cool redhead ;)

I was never a big fan of the GTA Franchise (although I played GTA4 on PS3 and GTA5 on PS4. I like Rockstar's other Franchise, Red Dead Redemption more and can't wait for the release of RDR2.

Atm I am playing the NIOH-Complete Edition. It's actually in the Summer Sale in Playstation Store. A Souls-like Game but with a cool Japan Setting. Hundreds of Deads are expected for me again (same as in Dark/Demon souls and Bloodborne).

Ah, and yesterday I downloaded Mafia III. It's actually free for PSplus members. I liked Mafia II (mainly because you could collect old 50's Playboy magazines :D ) but never played Mafia III. Can't say much about it yet but they have again the Playboy mags to collect (this time from the 60's :D )

Started playing it on Friday and have put hours into it so far. Cracking game, decent storyline and the combat system for fighting the machines is excellent, and every one of them offers a different challenge.

Was going to go back to Elite at the end of the week for an expedition there, but the developers have been taking the piss so may leave it till next year till I go back to it, and finish Horizon and all the other dozen or so games I've got sitting there!

I’ve started Kingdom Come: Deliverence properly. Downloaded it a bit back but couldn’t get into it. I’m very much enjoying it for the most part but the lockpicking part of the game is really starting to piss me off and judging from the comments I’ve read on YouTube videos for it I’m not the only one.

Nice to see that you like it, too. Yes, there's a good part of tactics in it to combat the machines, especially the big ones. I am always the sniper/sneaker type (one of my most loved genres in gaming besides RPG's) and try to get the big one with traps (there's a good variety here).

It's a wonderful Open World (although I am not the "dystopian" guy but here it makes fun to explore post apocalyptic world and finding the artefacts and relics of the gone era.
It's the first Open world game for Guerilla Games (best known for their famous "Killzone" Franchise on Playstation (2,3,4)).

I still haven't play the "Frozen Wilds" DLC which came out last November (too little time for too much games) but will definitely play it (when it's on discount in PS store)

First I couldn't wait for it to be published but when it came out I heard that there were many bugs in it. So this turned me off a bit. I still have this game "on my radar" because, as said above, I like RPG's, especially when settled in the "Middle Age" (I am still playing TES Skyrim from 2011)

edit: Today are the new monthly free games in the store:

God of War 3 Remastered for PS4: Classic, already played it on the PS3 but will give it another try. They made a reboot with this series last year with God of War (after Kratos murdered all gods of the greek mythology he's now up in the north against the nordic ones ;) )

Destiny 2: Only 1 year after release and already in PS Plus. "Honi soit qui mal y pense". Promotion for the big DLC Forsaken it seems. You get the game already for peanuts . Not my kind of games. Won't play it.

really starting to get in to Mafia III after it was last months freebie on PS Plus. the missions are a bit samey though, and the bad guys are dumb as fuck. all you have to do is find a good hiding place, whistle when nearby and they will come over. i had a stack of about 10 dead bodies right next to me and they kept on coming!

downloading god of war 3 remastered, and got Destiny 2 waiting in the background too, but i dont have enough room on my playstation for both, so pacing myself. but with Fifa 19 out soon i may need to take the plunge and delete my witcher 3 game

Just downloaded the demo for Forza Horizon 4 - it's not much different from the last one other than it's set in Britain but I imagine the full game will have a lot more to offer. Excited for potential DLC like with the previous too.

My brother and my nephew have been playing Lego City Undercover over Christmas. Found it somewhere for a tenner the other day and thought I'd give it a go. Strangely enjoying it!

I have a Christmas tradition of buying a game before Christmas that I won't play until the day itself. This year it was meant to be RDR2 but I crashed and burned with it and started playing it mid December. Fortunately I had a replacement with Hitman 2 which was my plan B.

Hitman 2 is still in the drawer unopened because I love RDR2 that much that I'm on my 2nd playthrough. Also, I've downloaded RDR. I've had RDR twice in the past and never quite got around to completing it, but having played RDR2 the storyline and inclusion of characters like Williamson, Escuado and Van Der Lingh in RDR has made it more compelling to play. I've just finished RDR, well the main storyline, and I'm going to get Undead Nightmare soon.

No idea when Hitman 2 will get a look in.

I'm not currently playing anything. I finished the games that I was playing last week: Resi 3, Pokemon: Let's go Pikachu and I finished Onimusha a few days ago too. Just waiting for the Resi 2 remake now.

Onimusha on Steam?

I'm tempted to get it just for the achievements.

Started a new game on RDR2.

Taking my time this time and trying to soak up as much of the game as possible. Only about 10% completed up to now but I've come across quite a bit of content I missed first time around.

I spent a lot of time on my first play through just roaming, so even though it took me a long time to finish the game I missed loads of side mission stuff.

I get no joy whatsoever playing as John in the end, anybody else like this? Either way I’m finally starting a second play through today and it will probably keep me busy for a month.
