Yup. Far Cry 4 is good fun, but the scenery is EXACTLY the same as 3.

Dying in Dark Souls II more times than I care to remember. Your progress in this game really does come down to how brave you are with your items and how patient you are in your approach. At the moment I know most enemy attack patterns like the back of my hand, but then I have to because I find the blocking commands fucking useless.

Bloodborne
Defeated Vicar Amelia. Only irritating boss encounter thus far. Not because she's overly difficult, it's just that she tends to heal herself for around 30% of her HP if you move too far away from her. Found a sweet spot for dodging her attacks and staying in range so that she doesn't heal. Was easy on the second attempt. Also cleared out most of the new area that I ventured into. Think it's called Hemwick Charnel or something. Gonna go kill that blood starved boss when I next play, should be rather easy now.

GTA5 PC. Looks absolutely stunning and blows the console version out of the water. Props to R* for developing it from scratch, rather than being lazy and porting the console version over. I'm surprised at just how well they've done it all, launch day installation problems aside. Some of the 4k screenshots that are popping up make me wet.

Been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 again recently alongside FIFA and GTA binges.

Decided Far Cry is too easy, ammo healing syringes etc.

MG42 just cuts through everything!

Sad c*** here hasn't got the game but is watching the good people of Polygon play it -- from what I can gather, BSB is usually the third boss you encounter after Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne. I know the 'fourth' one is behind the cathedral doors, not sure if you need a key....
