I don't know if this is the same for everyone but;

I said good luck to Ciri, then she ended up in the tavern.

Radovid came, ruled, slaughtered.

Ah ok, yeah i specifically meant with regards to Ciri. There's 2 other Ciri based endings but I like 'Ciri most OP witcher' ending the best

Also....
I always kill Radovid. He has Phil's eyes pulled out, sells out his ally 'Whoreson Junior' with Geralt hardly having to ask, and then when he believes you've located Eilhart he still tries to kill you anyway. He probs did more dickish things not mentioned in this game too

Yeah Radovid's probably the most disappointing character in a game full of otherwise complex, morally-ambiguous characters.

I played it on Deathmarch and needed to be around level 10 to do that mission, not sure what it was like on the easier difficulties. Can't you just tame the blotchling and use signs like Yrden to take care of the wraiths instead?

Yeah, explore a lot for hidden treasure, and don't rush through all of the missions. There's also a lot of side quests that you should do along side the main mission, do these as soon as you can because when you get further into the main mission you lose the sidequests you didn't do.

I think taming the botchling is the easiest method.

I obviously had no idea this was coming up, i think when i get passed this part i will spend alot of time doing quests to level up because tis is tricky as shit. Great game though and it's gorgeous

You can do it by trying to save the botchling maybe? You should have some autosaves from a bit further back.
Do some sidequests, but make sure you do main quests before you become overlevelled (5+ levels over recommended quest level) otherwise you get literally 2 xp

God damn it. This is currently £16 on Tesco direct right now. ARGH.

I'm gonna get it. I know I will, one day. Even though, as I've said before, Dragon Age Inquisition seemed to have similar hype and I thought that was quite shite (and I KNOW, I KNOW, IT'S COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, everybody tells me this every time... but I can't help but see them both on the surface and feel like they're very similar)... but yeah, I know I can't resist a game that gets as much love as The Witcher 3 gets, for better or worse.

But I don't want to buy it just now. Because I have Uncharted 4 to get through, then I'm gonna get on with South Park: The Stick of Truth (which I bought in last years summer steam sale... but I've only just got around to watching South Park up to season 17, which is what I wanted to do before playing it)... and I'm sure that by the time I'm done with both of them something else will come along. But if not, I'm gonna try to grab The Witcher 3.

But another problem is that I bought The Witcher 2 fucking years ago, and I have about 3 hours of play time on it. Couldn't get into it. Well, I thought it was fine when playing it, but nothing ever made me want to go back. And again, I know, I know, it's COMPLETELY DIFFERENT this time. But you can see why this'd still make me cautious.

Superb game, just finished the main quest, and playing through the Hearts Of Stone DLC now just in time for Blood And Wine at the end of the month!

May do a new game plus on the hardest difficulty and play through it again sometime; I don't want to leave Geralt and Yennifer! :D

I got really close to the end, then for some random reason I just haven't played it for ages. Really enjoyed playing through when I was on it. Might go back to it at some point.

Been playing this since Christmas and only got up to act 2 the other day, this game is massive! So much effort has been put into making this game it's unreal. Anyone who hasn't played this yet is missing out big time, easily one of the best games made.

It's great. It made the disappointment of FO4 feel relatively insignificant.

Been looking forward to this for ages, apparently 30ish hours of content according to devs.

I finally got around to getting this last night. Like, the basic game, not the expansions like you guys are all on about. I've seen it called the best game of last year too many times to ignore it.

About an hour in so far. In my first game of Gwent I had no idea why people go on about it so much. By the end of my 5th or 6th game, I had to drag myself off of it to get something to eat before I go to work.

God damn it.

I can't get into Gwent, I don't fully understand it yet with the bonus's on some of the cards and I end up losing far more games than I win. I could put the difficulty down on it, but what would be the fun in that.

The Bloody Baron's story was monumental and the game had me hooked from then on and I started to read up on the characters a bit more so I knew a bit of the story behind some of them when they were introduced. That Dandelion fella is a pain in the arse though.

Didn't realise he was a romance option

Dunno if anyone can offer any insight or advice but I just got this yesterday for XB1. I loaded the game to the hard drive and it got up to 65% in about half an hour, then took fucking ages to do the remainder. As you'll know you can start playing games before they've completely downloaded to hard the drive. I don't usually do this as when I've done it in the past the game has crashed. I ended up starting a game while it was 95% downloaded, but every time it was my turn to speak in dialogues the screen went blurred, and the loading sign kept coming up with a loading time of about 20 seconds before the game continued. It was ridiculous and I know that can't be right. Is it possible this happening is because I haven't fully dowloaded the game?

I've never had this happen to me on games I've downloaded before when I've started them whilst downloading, but it might be the case. I'd probably just download the whole thing again from scratch uninterrupted to see what happens. Other than that I had times on the disc version where it would run slow and sometimes crash if I continually skipped cutscenes, but on the digital version it's been fine.

Just completed it. loved it but I must say the final battles were a piece of piss. the one against Eredin or whatever he was called was far too simple. Wasn't even close to dying in it.

Anyway, stunning game and so much depth. not going to lie and say I understood it all (especially as I skipped a lot of the dialogue) but one of the best games I've ever played.
