Nice try, there's more chance of you being in the Premier League next season than league 1.
The Prem is something for the longer term. With the HS2 hub station earmarked for the town and the associated economic benefits that huge project is expected to bring Crewe's branding by our local council as a 'high growth city' all spells good news for the football club.

Fair enough. I'll get back to my sulking in the tinpot league.

Yes, you'll enjoy it down here. ;)
Yeh,I don't doubt it can be fun but we don't go any lower than 4th division and it all rests on our shoulders to keep League football alive in the county. We're Cheshire's last hope.

Yeh,Carlisle are def one of the bigger clubs and probably as big as Oxford but their gates have dropped a fair bit from the 7,500 they were regularly pulling in in Lge1 a few years back.
Both Orient and Camb seem to be enjoying an upturn in support levels from the kind of crowds they were getting not too long ago.A bit surprising to see that happening at O's,all things considered, but good to see,for sure.
Notts are a strange one,really.
They kind of feel a big-ish club in some ways: terrific ground, big city, spells in top-flight,etc but can often be seen playing to 3,500 or less so are they really that big?

Glad to see our main whinge has been noticed outside of Cumbria too. Are we the only club who have seen our gates halve despite not actually being relegated during that period without their being a boycott of some sort?

Notts I will agree are pretty strange. Until they came up to League One the other season I always thought of them as being generally at home in the bottom division, but they do give off a big-club vibe, they do have very good facilities, and an illustrious history.

I always find this dickwaving over who's a bigger club very tiresome. We're all in League Two for a reason, along with Northampton, Accrington are the team I've enjoyed watching the most...
Spot on. Stockport are a big club for the conference north but they are where they deserve to be.

Spot on. However it's only natural for us to want the bigger sides to go up, and obvs the smaller sides in L1 to come down, so our clubs will have a better chance of doing well next year. I'd rather see Plymouth go up than Accy, and likewise give me Colchester anytime over Shrewsbury for ex.

I wouldn't say there's too much difference between Shrews and Col U in terms of club size.

I'm going to get a seat as close to the tunnel as possible, so I can applaud your manager, Dario Grady, for long overdue personalised support for giving the game: Geoff Thomas, Robbie Savage, Seth Johnson, Edson Arantes do Nascimento and the British Rail Class 03 Diesel Locomotive.

#Ray!!

It's a bit insulting to three genuinely brilliant footballers to include them in the same sentence as Robbie Savage (who we like to pretend never actually played for us).

Shrewsbury are defo bigger than Colchester, but that's not what really interests me. I would expect Colchester to struggle to mount an immediate promotion push if they to drop down here whilst Shrewsbury would, most likely, look to bounce back asap.

Notts are strange and most of the Notts fans think that.
If you work out our average position throughout the history and then work out where we have been the most its generally agreed that our mean position is around 4th-10th in the 3rd division.
The last time we were in the top flight (I was supporting then) we were well out of our depth although we did help to stop Man United winning the league which they were doing every season.
This season has been honestly one I want to forget and quickly, not just that we are near the bottom but that there is so much crap going on behind the scenes.

When you played Manchester Utd in 91/92 they hadn't won the league in 25 years!
