Scumbag c*** made up a sob story to my other halfs mum about her son being in hospital can she borrow some money to visit him etc. Knew the 70yr old walking home from Church would feel sorry for her and gave her £20. Never heard anything else from her other than one day when my other half was with her mum and bumped into her and asked how he was doing and she said he's out of hospital now and recovering etc. Not too surprising to find her being locked up for 2 years for fraud having asked numerous people for money for similar scenarios only to be found spending it on heroin and cocaine. I found her profile on facebook, a few public status' like this:

Stupid twats who have no idea about the highway code. Driving on the M4 on Sunday there were numerous idiots in the middle lane driving at 65 mph or less with no-one in the inside lane. I'm no speed freak, but to drive at the maximum speed allowed, I had to go in the outside lane.

Then there are the yellow box junctions. Two roads merging into one at traffic lights. I don't go forward because I don't have a clear exit and umpteen horns blare. Fuck you idiots, I have a clean driving record and I don't want a fine and possibly points on my licence.

2. Those who order a coffee with every perceivable combination. I hate it when my phone buzzes when it's in my pocket when I am sitting right next to someone on the same side the pocket is on, especially if it's on a bus. I have to play a larger version of operation by trying to not touch that persons arse or legs but also approach at an angle needed to slide my hand into my pocket, really hard.

All these so called 'fitness' magazines. Dont pay for them but read the odd facebook article. Constantly contradicting themselves and saying to do something 'according to science' which is just some random correlation between weight loss and the time somebody eats lunch without any 'science'.

Saw one fb article, men's health/fitness or the like...it recommended not taking anti-depressants for the added weight they may out on. Couldn't actually believe what I was reading from one of the most popular health magazines

Saw this ad on the telly earlier about some charity wanting money for kids who are blind so they can get treatment. The thing was they were in India, so isn't India one of the richest countries in the world, doesn't it have nukes and a space programme? Why don't they take care of those kids rather than badger us about it?

Also cancer adverts where they bubble about the disease and want your money. If they show the science involved and what they are doing to conquer it then I'd be more tempted to give them money but all the sentimental nonsense I just switch over.

Was speaking to someone who worker for cancer research UK. According to them if they got no more donations from now they'd still be able to run for something daft like 7 years without having to cut costs. Its a worthy cause but amazing how much support it gets, obviously because of the lives it effects but it also completely outweighs the proportion of people it effects : Donations ratio...not sure I've worded that last bit very well

It's a bastard of a disease and it's took several family members of mine and I heard a stat that 1 in 2 in Britain will get it at one point in their lives which is a frightening thought. I'm not denigrating those on the advert but just the way they are all filmed which just gets on my tits.

I think showing the suffering this terrible disease causes the afflicted and their family is much more effective than a guy in a white coat looking through a microscope.
